So, today. I was suppose to do some Scrabble with friends. Friends who are girls. A few weeks ago I said I wouldn't mind if they painted my nails black, because, y'know, why not? It only escalated from there.
Step 1, nails.
Step 2, weird make up
Step 3, clothes and a vacant expression
Yeaaaaaah. I have now successfully removed all the make up, but I'm still working on the nail polish. I've been using my housekey to chip away at it.

Try acetone. It does great things.

Yeah, but without whatever other nasty stuff they usually add to nail polish remover.

Oh. I though they added all the other ingredients to dilute the acetone because it is rather potent.
Oh well... I suppose I know nothing about the cosmetics industry.

Eh, maybe that too. But as a Chem major I've gotten worse things on my skin than acetone, so it doesn't bother me much.

What exactly does that mean, Nameless?
And forget the Acetone. I'm a bumb and I've already gotten it off of 7 of my fingers. :smalltongue:

That first photo has some interesting light effects in it.
And I like the tie in the second one.
Assuming it was a wedding, whose wedding was it?
And more importantly, did you have a nice time?

Tradition be damned! I'd rather have a nice time!
Not that a nice time and engaging in the aforementioned activity are mutually exclusive...

Thanks! It was indeed a wedding, of a high school friend. It was a blast. She loves ABBA, so four of us got up before dinner and sang "Fernando" for the hall (which we had secretly practiced for weeks before). I played an alto recorder accompaniment and solo.

My ancestors left our homeland, and me a stunted scion on this harsh Prairie stock. -- and I fear the blight I hear in rumour cankering the sweet English rose. I live in Anglo-Saxon diaspora without a homeland to repatriate.
You look like you have a nice home.

All the bridesmaids were high school friends who are like unto family, so eew. :smallwink: Nor, alas, was there a dude in the hall on whose any part I would have put my mouth.

Awesome. I wish I could remember how to play the recorder... And that I owned one worth playing.
