I find this part of the comic to be the most amusing part of this season so far.

They might have been added after the abduction of Shmi. Besides, part of Tatooine problems were created by Jim.

Today's comic managed to recapture the funny of the early strips. I loled

The circle is now complete. When your uncle came, I was but the learner. Now for you, I am the master.
Only a master of roleplaying, Sally.

Objection!!
this http://www.darthsanddroids.net/episodes/0149.html means Sally is good at more than just roleplaying.

This... made me laugh, good sir.
Also, I'm enjoying the recent string of comments. Seems Corey is fitting in quite well so far.

I'm sure none of those survival skills will ever come in handy.

Well, AFAIK forest never came up unless you count parts of Dagobah as forest instead of swamp.
Also: nights at a desert do get that cold, but snow is rather unlikely.

Well I vaguely remember some minor scenes on a not very important moon that had forests. Hmm now if only I could remember its name. It was moon that orbited around Endor and was covered in forests.
Ah now I remember it's The tree covered orbital satellite of the gas giant Endor.

Where Luke never came, if I remember correctly.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Ok, that explains the Survival: Snow, but how the blazes does one get Survival: Swamp on a desert planet????
Or Forrest, for that matter?
@^: You remember incorrectly. Very, incorrectly! You don't remember the whole scene where they're on the moon in the Ewok village, or hunting for Leia after she crashed?

Except that's how he gets to the deathstar. He goes with them to Endor flies on a bike, lightsabers a bike, jumps on Leias bike, senses Vader and then deliberately gets captured and taken to the Death Star.

:smallsigh:
Of course... How could I forget. I thought Luke went to the Death Star before that.

That's no tree covered orbital satellite! It's a Forest Moon!

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Now that I think about it, Corey is quite easy to manipulate. I'm sure, he'll get more experiance in that matter, but Sally and Pete are directing him all the time.

Heh, that's the part I forgot. I only remembered him being on the Death Star and Han + Leia blowing up the shield generator.

Sally continues to get the best punch lines.

Of course! And the Ewoks are the true evil masterminds and they will capture the heroes and lure them into false safety with their treacherous cuteness!

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
That's the most layers of irony in one punchline I've seen since the last time I read one of Shakespeare's decent plays. Which I think was 11th grade.
Also love how it still cuts back to the dead soldier every time Jim interjects.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Killing the family to force him to get on with the quest... It seems the DM has learned the ways of the railroad.
Edit. Yeah, you can tell I haven't watched the films in forever. Forgot about the sand people random encounter.

I'm liking Corey - he learns fast.

The beat panels and the character expressions are probably what I like the most about Darths and Droids.

Completely agree. I think the OT will be a goldmine too, with how expressive Han Solo can be.

Re: Darths And Droids 2: Should've Gone to Naboo
Love the title for this strip (716), classic. (It was no Bacon Tree, 'twas a Ham Bush!)
And Jim's dead soldier speaking is still awesome.

Sally truly has become the master. Remember when she hated the very concept of not succeeding from the dice?

So, what are the odds that Ben arrives just about now? Or is Old Ben going to be a npc?
