Re: Starcraft 2: 8 Medivac drop
Not fair, the primal brood lords can also attack Air Creatures with an acid attack. Sure it is easy to kill such a creature with your mutalisk army, but I want it...
I want brood lords that attack both land and air. Come on allow me to make such a creature as an upgrade or something.

Brood lords? You mean the guardians that can attack air somehow?

What about as a downgrade? Poor corrupter, no love for you.

i think he means the creatures on Zeras that look like brood lords, only rather then attacking with broodlings, they attack with acid spit that can also hit air units.
You know what sucks about heart of the swarm? Ultralisks. it's not what your thinking ultralists are epic, but you only get them for like... three missions. it'd be nice if they had a few more missions were you had full acess to your entire army.

I was more poking fun at the idea of giving broods an upgrade to let them shoot up. It was either that or a joke about giving colossi an anti air attack, but I figured the corrupter joke was a bit better. Guess it didn't work D:
And I felt the same way about cruisers in WoL. I wanted to use them a bit more, so I was kinda sad. Didn't feel quite the same with ultras, but I think I felt a bit more of an urge to use a variety of units in WoL. _shrug_
Side note, today was an interesting day. Finally getting back into ranked 1v1s, placed in...silver. What. Didn't think I had slipped that much, but guess so. Got up to gold before the end of the day. A friend and I managed to place masters 2v2 though. At least one of the games that did that consisted of me going nexus-first while he held the door, and then just going mass carrier (That isn't a replay. Just am amusing moment that prompted said game). Something about carriers just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy when I use them.

They are pretty awsome. I rmeember when i was playing Staraft 1 with my freinds years ago i always wished it would be possible for a Zerg to infest a carrier and either have it spit out scourge that shoot stuff rather then explode, or just plain spit out an endless stream of Scourge:smallbiggrin:

Re: Starcraft 2: 8 Medivac drop
Overlords dropping banelings is kinda like that.

Re: Starcraft 2: 8 Medivac drop
Not as cool though:smalltongue:

Yes I meant the primal guardians that can attack air. I thought for some reason they were broodlords for they kinda look like broodlords, but it makes sense they are the primal version of the starcraft 1 unit (which couldn't attack air, but the primal version can.)
I want the acid spores as an upgrade :smallmad:
I am also mad about very little ultralisk, no nydus worm, no overlord drops/overseer

Watching day nine play the campaign. Its hilarious. He is both bad and good at the game at the same time!

Re: Starcraft 2: 8 Medivac drop
Playing the wings of liberty campain again, just did the Tosh mission. Still upset they don't let him join you in the nidus tunnels if you choose to side with him, then choose to take down the worms:smalltongue:

Stetmann was amusing, but nothing beats the OTP of Swann and Betty in that mission.
Also, had a great last game of the night last night. After a long string of me losing macro games for...many reasons, I got back into my swing. Finished off with one last game. "PvP...Scout early to make sure I don't get some kinda shenanigans to deal wi...there's no pylon. Gorram proxy gates." And lo', there were proxy gates. Couldn't break through the emergency gateway/forge wall and two cannons though. My attempt at cannoning his main didn't work out so well, but using a few zealots to kill his gates while he was distracted did the trick nicely, and he GGd shortly thereafter. Nothing *fancy* about the game, but it was just amazingly satisfying to have a win (against something I usually don't see coming, for that matter)

Re: Starcraft 2: 8 Medivac drop
Continuity alert: In WoL Stetmann studies a zerg sample and finds that it will never die of old age. Yet in HotS Kerrikan and Iesha both say that Zerg eventually age.
Who's right?:smalltongue:

Who's right?:smalltongue:
Lets see...
A crazy scientist guy studying something he barely understands, or the actual species in question.
My money is on the species in question. However, the zerg don't age because they mutate so fast and their cells replace often. What Iesha meant was, if there was no need for evolution, then yes the zerg would age. Don't forget, that sample Stetmann was studying was also growing and evolving while in its tank.

Yeah, because being good with both terran and zerg automatically means your good with protoss because, you know, its protoss.:smalltongue:

Well I did beat a diamond zerg as protoss because I accidentally did a 1v1 as random. It was a really sloppy game on my part because I had no idea what I was doing. I still won somehow.
I will post the game if I can find it.

Proof that either Protoss is OP, or that zerg was really bad.:smalltongue:

Yeah, but he practiced both that, and what to do after. Most cannon rushers enter the, "Well, they're still alive. Now what?" stage and get crushed harder then if you were playing against a low bronze league player, or they leave the game immediately when it fails.
