Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Lume turns back to the hobgoblin, and says: Your sale makes little sense, as I could take your entire stock for free if I did club your brains out. However, I will gladly pay. He takes two of his diamonds off the bar, and gives them to the hobgoblin. "That ought to cover it. Now, ma'am," he says, turning to Angie, "Where might I find this... Glog?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Hm, you know I think the only time I was there I took a magical portal. It is out in the woods, an old campground. It shouldn't be that hard to find.
And don't mind the silly name, they are good people out there. Or were last time I had to deal with them."
Angie takes a seat at the bar next to Lume.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"If you clubbed my brains out, you'd have another crime to atone for and you could upset some of my clients, who may be criminally inclined." The hobgoblin hands another ten jars over, and takes both diamonds. That's his entire stock, and likely not worth both diamonds.
Also, so far, Lemu is his only customer.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Chas, the hippie-elf sitting upon the bar, smoking a cigarette, speaks towards the hobgoblin, "what else you got?" he asks, rather nonchalantly, however a bit loud as he attempts to get his attention.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Lume purifies the ectoplasm, and gives the hobgoblin what is strangely obvious is a contemptuous glance, given that Lume has no eyes to glance with. Then he turns to Angie. "Thank you for your help, ma'am. I couldn't help but notice that you walk with a can. I could use some of this ectoplasm to help you with any... difficulties you may have."
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Don't bother, it is just that I hadn't really been doing a whole lot to take care of my body recently. I sort of in a coma/trance for a few years, so I am working on building the muscles back up. I will be fine soon enough."
She shrugs like it is no big deal.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Ohoh, what do you want? I got skooma, jet, pixie dust, and just about anything else you could ask for. Only thing I don't have at the moment is corrupted ectoplasm, but as you aren't undead it won't affect you anyway. I recommend the pixie dust. Apparently it's good. Expensive, but good." Also made from real pixies, though the hobgoblin doesn't know that.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Skooma, jet, pixie dust? is that local slang or have I just not heard of that before..." He takes an inhale of tobacco, thinking, "I'll take some of each. Do you want me to pay you in cash or can I trade you some of my own dope?" He surveys the bar, looking around for anyone who cares more than just giving a shameful glare.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Skooma is made by the Khajiit of Elsweyr from stuff called moonsugar. I got some of that, too, but don't know how to make skooma. Jet is inhaled, originating in a nuclear wasteland world. Pixie dust is a powder that is primarily a hallucinogen. Not just a hallucinogen, though. I'd prefer coins, I don't use drugs myself, but I can trade if you don't have the dosh. Jet is 20 gold per pack, skooma is 25 gold and pixie dust is 35 gold." That's the Elder Scrolls for skooma, Fallout for jet and I invented pixie dust but it's based on a single reference in a book called The War of the Flowers.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Nah, it's good, I got the gold." He pulls out a hemp woven sack, with a black draw string, and shells out 80 gold coins - more over, 80's worth, as he has some platinum coins; gold being bulky and all. "Do the deal here or should we head to my van out front?" he asks, looking over his shoulder.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"I'd rather do it here, if it's all the same to you." He reaches into his trench coat and takes out a small purple bottle, an inhaler and a plastic bag of multicoloured dust that emits a slight glow.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"works for me, man," he says as he slides the coins the hobgoblins way on the bar, and then puts the bottle of skooma and the jet inhaler in his vest. He observes the bag of pixie dust, looking at all the colours, "so, what exactly does this stuff do?" he says, his cigarette hanging out of the corner of his mouth as he eyes the drug.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"It's a hallucinogen and stimulant. I've never heard of anybody seeing anything negative from it, suggesting that's a rare occurrence. You eat it." The hobgoblin picks up the coins and slips them into his trench coat.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Eat a powder?" he raises his eyebrow, "well at least you told me now, I would've railed it like coke or something..." he places it upon the bar, debating as whether to try it now or wait.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"You don't snort sherbet. Though admittedly this is different, I understand the initial sensation is similar." The hobgoblin smiles.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
He nods, "Sounds good... do you know the dosage on this or should I like, go at it," he says, putting the butt of his cigarette into the ashtray and opening up the bag tentatively.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"That's three or four doses, I think. Maybe five. The more you have the longer it'll last." But a serious overdose may result in the elf (I think?) turning at least partially into a pixie. The hallucinations are actually the memories of the pixies that were powdered into the contents of the bag.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
The elf (yes) pulls out a few empty 2x2 inch dime bags off his person, and divides the bag into quarters. He opens one up, "shall I?" he asks, looking over his shoulder.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Go ahead. I won't stop you." The pixies used to make pixie dust are primarily from forests. Therefore, oversized trees are likely to play a key part of the hallucination.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
In through the doors walks Krystal, looking like her usual self. Behind her is a minotaur. Carrying a goat.
She will find a table large enough to accommodate Gird.
So what do you want to eat?
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
He tilts back his head, and dumps the entire content of the bag into his mouth, chasing it with a small sip of beer. "So, how long exactly til it hits me?" He says, looking around the bar as he pockets his remaining doses.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"Right about.... Now." The hobgoblin is guessing, but should be quite accurate.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
When he looks up at the hobgoblin, his pupils are very dilated, taking up almost his whole eye. "What?" he asks, his voice rather loud, his expression a mix of awe and confusion. He looks around the room, his eyes wide.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
The young minotaur sits down, still hugging his goat close to his chest. Is want beef. he sets the goat down and makes sure the leash is tight Ba. is stay. he says, pointing at the goat sternly.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Krystal smiles a little at the seemingly pet goat, then orders steak for Gird and a burger for herself.
So, how long have you been looking for this Nodn?
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Chas sits, staring at the goat and minotaur in awe, with his pupils huge. he then gets a grin on his face, and leans back against the bar while he sits in his stool. By his facial expression, it is rather easy to tell that at the moment this hippie isn't in the same state of mind as the rest of the patrons.

Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Samantha chuckles lightly at Talina's comment Heh, not that expensive, when you got the right resources." She gives a wink to the girl.
As Levi states his appreciation, Samantha looks at him quizzically and says "You still got some broken ribs bud, you sure you don't want me to heal those too, wouldn't be too hard. Heck, the lungs were harder than a few ribs could ever be. "
Meanwhile, Samuel seems very intrigued by this light-being. He starts making notes about it in his notebook, while still trying/hoping to comfort the distressed goblin girl until she leaves.
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
"More or less." There's actually a faint trickle of blood on his chin, from the split lip Levi's punch left him with, but the wizard hardly feels himself in any position to compain.
Planting hands on his knees he stands back up with a grunt, muscles aching deeply after the drain of calling up so much magic. "I guess that I owe you both a drink then.l
-
Re: [Nexus] Trog's Tavern CCXLIII
Chas continues to watch the bar, pupils dilated, sipping some beer.

"There is, but if you think you were a theater girl, let's go for that," Louis encourages. She didn't seem like a military-type, so he had been reluctant to recommend Remnant.
