Is it still going, then?
In any case, it might be convenient for Dipsnig to just tell them that the mission is already underway.

And herein comes the problem... Dipsnig's taking part in it. :smalltongue:
Like I said, it's my bad. I should've removed that job from the active contracts.
Oh well. Don't worry about it.
Now they don't get to blow anything up, though! D: NO needs more jobs like that.

Every adventurer needs to relax after a long day of looting!
And how better spend the loot than shopping trips;
You go there and talk to the boss, one of his lieutenants or whoever else is available at the time.
I know how worrying it can be to have a dog take itself for a walk. When our dog was younger, he ran away a lot. We could walk down any road in my home village and people would recognise our dog and us and approach us with directions. Once we caught up with him, though, he usually came home as good as gold. We're relatively rural, so we always hoped he wouldn't get into a sheep paddock. He's friendly and wouldn't hurt the sheep, but they and the farmer might not know that.
Now, though, he's 11 and doesn't do that any more. Just before Christmas Dad took him on a walk and had to carry him home.
:smallconfused: NO doesn't "blacklist" people. Even people Dipsnig really hates. And they've certainly never blacklisted any of your characters.

Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't let the Takam bite.
BR, could you please post in Home? Thank you.
Isn't Dipsnig on the council? I thought I read that, and it made sense to me that the council would have records of some kind regarding at least a list of council members.
The extent of Jit's knowledge is name and that he's the head of NO.
The time warper thing is just a background thing, and knowing people's names before meeting them is one of the tricks that comes up from that most easily.
Put simply, if a player doesn't want your character to know something about theirs, then you should respect their wishes since they're the book-keeper for their characters. Time travel is a particularly hard thing to adjudicate in FFRP because it's assuming a lot of things (like Jit having access to Council records in his past when no one who controls a Council player has okay'd this) instead of roleplaying them out.
It can work in a setting with a lot of OOC agreements over what you can get away with, but if people aren't agreeing, then we should probably step back a bit and adjust how things have gone.
That being said, the Council is public knowledge, so him finding things out is probably not too much of a stretch, but assuming he can find out in backstory without checking first is a bit off in my opinion.
Even Marciano could get another contract? :smallconfused:
I would have been fine with Jit knowing Dipsnig is on the Council, if you'd asked first. You declaring something about my character's future is not fine. Time travel in general is a very risky business fraught with godmodding, as Slii said.
I'm not sure who Adrin even is, but I'm sure they haven't stopped taking contracts from him or her or it.
He would need to give back all the money he screwed them out of first, but yes. Otherwise, Dipsnig would kill him and sell his organs.
My apologies, I didn't think it was a big deal. There are a few other ways Jit could know, the main one being through mind reading of NPCs (only because, as a council member, I can't help but feel Dipsnig should be considered a public figure).
Like I said, I don't mind him being recognized, since he's somewhat famous. Just let it be through normal channels and not time warping.
Proof of insanity on my part:SpoilerWhile mowing the lawn today, I thought about my desire to make a new Musical Plot. I wondered about what sort of theme and setting it'd have... and came up with wanting to do something very much like Kamen Rider.
I may have to rethink this one.
very well, understood.
Now I believe it is your turn to post.
orb_of_blood, are you going to reply to T'rissylene's teleportation to the Sleeping Goblin?
Also, I'm back!
Justin's group will arrive at Elezibethele's room next post, yes. They would have arrived sooner, but I thought they were leaving.
What about Cessie and Wenomir? They're also heading there.
Same post, I think. But before they do arrive, I'd like a post from Harnel and DC, to see if they trigger the alarm in the Altar Room.
