Update.
Spoiler
Show
The twinkle in Doc's eyes as he smacks King Radical makes my heart sing.

I know I'm not supposed to, but I kinda feel sad for Radical here. It doesn't help that Rad is shown fighting for something - but Doc's sole rationalization is they don't get along, hurr.
That, and maybe after all these years and the whacky sociopathy, the only time I can cheer for Doc is when watching him suffer. :smallcool:

His rationalization for fighting Radical is that Radical tried to kill Doc and blew up his office when Doc refused to treat one of his men. Also, there's the whole: 'Radical trying to to remove/kill people in Cumberland who don't fit into his idea of what's cool and replacing them with bro-y jerks straight out of 80s & 90s cartoons.' I'm surprised no one has said "
jaw-some!" yet.

I'd be more sympathetic if King Radical hadn't previously rubbed his victory in Doc's face.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Ah, see, I forgot about that one!
Feels like a nice a comeuppance now, actually.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
...Time portal is exhausted. The infinite time loop Sparklelord is trapped in is broken.

But doesn't Sparklelord always return to the same point in time when the portal is still there?

Yeah, I'm kinda feeling that too. It seemed like there was more of a chance that Sparkles would show up when they were messing with the portal, since that could, I don't know, maybe affect anyone who has gone through it? There's some sort of chance that it could have done something wacky. But now, with it gone, I feel like he might truly be gone as well.
HOWEVER.
Does anyone else feel like we haven't yet reached the actual resolution of this story? We're only in the 70s, and his issues have been running long for the past two years. I wonder what's left. A big ol' brawl by the time space portal? Who knows.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Actually, that's a good question. Has the time portal only been exhausted in our time, or in every time (given that it would make sense for a time portal to be a fixed point in time)?

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
On the off-chance it turns out to be where things are going, calling it now:
Spoiler
Show
With the existing time portal gone, the world goes to **** because there's no time travelers to fix everything, so Chuck Prime shows up and saves the day by finding a new time portal.

That might work, if the time travelers always came out of the tunnels portal in McNinja's universe. However, evidence suggests they do not.
You can tell I've learned how to play with the links button, can't you. AND I'M HAVING FUN WITH IT.
Also I really like the idea of "Chuck Prime."

It's not that they come out at the portal, it's that they go through at the portal. No portal, no entry point, no time travel. Out of all your links, only two of them weren't directly initiated through a time portal, and in both cases it was from their time stabilizer widget breaking. (zombie!chuck getting it damaged when he smashes the mcninja clone merge, dino!chuck smashing it to escape the nasaghast rocket)

And very likely none of those time portals that are used are the same as the one in the cave which radical used. As an example, i don't think this is in a cave.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
It seems like King Radical is the exclusive user of the portal in his cave-basement. All the Cumberland-Chucks use the one in space.

With the exception of Dr. McNinja, who used it to get back from the Dino Future. Which brings up the question: if the portal is supposed to bring you back to the time and universe of your origin, then why doesn't Radical return to the Radical lands when he comes back after founding the Inocktek?

Because radical is a proper time-traveler and can use them to go whenever. Mcninja, on the other hand, simply traveled through time and will naturally try and bring himself to his own time.

The Radical Lands are dying. King Radical doesn't want to go back, or that's the impression I get anyway.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
I hope we get to see some of the super dull universe, maybe it'll have the same affect on somewhat-radical things as earth did on king radical's totally radical things. "What, you've never heard of skate boarding? Eh, i'm not sure on how to do it either..."

We were specifically told that it would pop mcninja right back in his own time/space because he'd gone to dino!cumberland without a temporal stabilizer.

I feel like it's been pretty heavily hinted that the super dull universe is

Really? I never noticed.

Probably the most obvious part would be here. The "you have the same popes," "Ben Franklin was there too," etc. seems to sort of drive it home, for me anyway.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Well, it's either our world, or Stupidworld. The latter would be quite the crossover.
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
You know...now that we know there's alternate universe Chucks, does that mean there's a Chuck in Lameworld too?
-
Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Yeah, he's an insurance salesman or something.

Sure there is. He works at NASA. He even has the same last name, too!

Huh, you're right. Sneaky sneaky.

Re: Dr McNinja III: You Rad Bro?
Huh. The top Google hit for Charles Goodrich for me is a dead poet/writer/minister from Oregon. Though adding 'Chuck' to the string does bring up the NASA guy.
I bet the first one, Charles Augustus Goodrich, is our world's Goodrich. It's far more boring than a NASA employee.
