Jeez. You don't HAVE to read my points by screaming. I just didn't want something to happen and it happened I put up a little angry face at the end.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! No more sappy sentimentality! :smallfurious:
I'm not sure how else than get read except a frustrated scream/shout. You're absolutely right, I don't have to, but I don't see what else would be a sensible and fair way to read it?

There's also Jones's warning about things changing for Anne soon. My theory is that Parley's going to become the new medium, making Antimony expendable and her love of the forest a liability. Of course, it's also possible that Anne will be the new medium, turning her from a very important student to a very inexperienced politician.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
That reminds me of this Evangelion parody:

The idea that Jones might look something like that... The mind reels. Keels over. And lies still and unmoving on the floor. :smalleek:

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Hey, it's Kat! We haven't seen her for quite a while have we? O.o

I expected nothing else of her, really.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
"Changes". Somehow this strikes me as... ominous...
Even moreso with Coyote's eye in the middle of it.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Got to admit, my inner Dresden Files fan is running in circles screaming.

I doubt it will be that bad.
For one thing, the author doesn't get off on tormenting his main character like Jim does.
...
I really, really hope it won't be that bad.
Scowling Dragon might have an early Christmas though
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
I hope it starts out dangerous and then devolves into a chapter about makeouts.
This sounds much more amusing. :P
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Just to spite Scowling Dragon, eh? I'd be down for something as pointlessly petty as that.

Parley seems more suited to be Jimmy-Jims successor.
I think Mort would be the best choice for medium, but unless Annie refuses the position, I don't think that is going to happen.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Yeah, I'm predicting an entire chapter of Mort Fun Time.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
I can tell it's Coyote from the colours, but does anyone besides me think that centre design looks rather . . . anatomical?

I can sort of see why you'd might think that, but it looks too close to a flaming gas jet for me.

There is that as well.

Next week on Gunnerkrigg Court: Coyote is revealed to actually be David Bowie

I've been expecting that plot development for years.
YEARS.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Gunnerkrigg court: the worlds most extensive Labyrinth fanfiction prequel.
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
I imagine Labyrinth would have been a much simpler movie if Antimony was the lead character. For a start, she'd just knee Bowie in the spandex the first time he showed up to whine, then kick him some more while he's down.:smalltongue:

Also, Antimony is much more accepting of the help of weird supernatural creatures, and doesn't scare as easily. Labyrinth would indeed be much simpler with her character in the lead.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
The knee in the spandex seems more like a George solution, really.
Then:
PARLEY: -bip- Got the baby, -bip- back in his crib, -bip- time for makeouts!
SMITTY:
I want to see Zimmy in that role.
By which I mean I want to see David Bowie as the Goblin King crying for his mommy.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Shadow is the most adorable thing ever.
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
I guess a chapter of this would also be acceptable. They are great.

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Aw this is sweet. Weird as heck, but sweet.
I hope THIS doesn't change... :smallsigh:

A being of the Court and a being of the Forest having problems brought on by the Court's Council?
Never happened before... has it?

Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
I'm not sure if I should go 'Awwwwww' or organize a mob with torches and pitchforks.
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Still waiting for David Bowie
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
Well, this isn't good.
Is this tied to S13's preaching, or are they simply trying to bring one of their number back into their ranks?
-
Re: Gunnerkrigg Court 3: Mystery Solved!
No no no, bad Tom, don't interrupt the adorableness. :smallfrown:
