Yeah but China was weird about explosives (they made cat suicide bombers :smallannoyed: and some weirdo tried flying into space, with fireworks!)
@Q: I would so join the bandwagon too if I wheren't lazy and already had a draconnic avatar.

Of course, they'll be less powerful, since they don't have any VGG cannons, teleportation engines or Alphantican armour, but at least that'll make the terrorists a sizeable force.
Making an efficient JG is a lot harder, the Citadel's one is based on a pair of imprisoned evil psions. Without them, he'd need to have a changeovers between a long list of spellcasters, which would result in periodic total power loss.

If you could ignore the laws of physics by not knowing them then there wouldn't be any since they would only count when you think they do. So a bumble bee can fly in some way (my guess is that the wings move fast enough to compensate)
But they should know it already, right? :smallsigh::smalltongue:

You are correct in your guess. The bumblebee flies by moving it's flapping it's wings very quickly, so quickly in fact that it flaps over 10 times for each nerve impulse they receive, and at a rate of around 200 beats per second. This causes turbulence, which was ignored when the problem was addressed several decades ago (as early as 1934 by some accounts), and the bee's wings were modelled as a tiny aeroplane, with the wings beating up and down smoothly through the air. I've heard it described as being more like a tiny helicopter, and I've yet to see someone point out that the 'wings' on a helicopter are too small. :smalltongue:

I doubt a bee knows how it flies. It just knows that it does.

I'm back from backpacking!
...
Nobody noticed, did they...well, off to read the FFF comics I missed...
@V Yep, thought so . That's cause I haven't made more than one comic (nightwing kill, kinda sucked) since FI hasn't started yet (or hadn't before I left) and I don't feel like I know anyone well enough to random kill them yet. I just squat on the discussion thread and waste server space :smallwink:.

But they'll still be WWI grade, yes?

Yes, unless of course they are given better weaponry by some higher-ups.

Or they are improved magic (not a good idea, it would make the shell likely to explode early.. so of course Keveak makes those :smalltongue:)

By the way, how far along are you on your part of the Secret Project, MM?

Hmm, idea. Perhaps spells could be used to change bullet trejectories, so very difficult trick shots would be possible? It would be rare technique, of course :smallamused:

^The UNA only employs the best of the best as mercenaries, as the Peacekeepers are quite capable of handling all but the most difficult of tasks.

I'm finished with the ideas and I've made quite a few panels.
Also, you'll have two instead of one. One made entirely by me, and the other we've agreed upon. Just because I want to have some fun.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Panels? One? Two?
I'd like them all separated so its easier to splice and move around. Flexibility, is what I'm after here.
-
Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XXIV: What is this "Haste" you speak of?
Skimmer, in FI, are you fine with Bright just kinda just following her around? It'll force me to be active, like it forced me to join the plot again in the first place :smalltongue:

When I said "you'll have two instead of one", I was not talking about the panels, but the whole thing I'm making them for. You'll have the number of panels you specified, and for mine... you'll see. Talking without mentioning the real nature of the project is hard. :p

Right right. What dimensions should they be ?

Whatever lends the best quality. I can be no more specific than large.

And unless the spell is made to bounce of specific materials (this makes it more difficult to use and less useful but more safe) it would also be send back at the shooter if the score a direct hit or one from the right angle.
Unless you mean shots the shooter controls in which case it would require concentration and thus be extremely hard to use in a battle (but it might be useful for assassinations)

The second one. Just imagine it, sniper sitting on the rooftop and having spells prepared...then snipes the target from fife blocks away and makes the bullet bend around ten buildings and through nine windows before hitting clean through the forehead... :smalltongue:
