___
[Infirmary]
Slowly, Cierra begins to pick herself up. Okay, I'm in my swimming suit, in the middle of the busted GLoG infirmary. I just got my butt kicked by a little girl thing with a sonic scream. And I'm still possibly cursed or something. Yeah, I think this qualifies as a bad day.

Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
Behind the Infirmary
Whisper disappears into the grass. She was just a child, and had been enslaved and abused. A human child would have had her spirit broken - there's only so much injury the psyche can take before it folds in on itself for protection. Whisper's psyche was not human, and had responded differently, lashing out into constant rage and defiance. But it was no less damaged. She fully believes Cierra was trying to trick her into revealing her grownup's location, so that she could enslave Irene and Whisper both.
But... her grownup was broken and needed help, and said she had a friend in the infirmary who might be able to. It takes great courage for her to creep along, climbing up to look in each window, knowing she could be seen, but she does it. Whisper has no sense of empathy or caring for others, but Irene was fey. Irene was one of us, and not them. She needed to protect her.

[Behind the Infirmary/Infirmary]
Whisper will see Cierra getting to her feet and gingerly examining her new bruises. For the first window or so, she can probably look in without being seen, but after a few Cierra will catch on. She won't actively respond in any way, though. Cierra doesn't want to go antagonizing the weird paranoid little girl again, and maybe some space will get her to calm down.

[Behind the Infirmary/Infirmary]
Echo might catch on too, but if he does, he makes no sign of it. Talking to people persuasively isn't exactly his strong point, and that seems to be what's needed.
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
Outside the Infirmary
Unfortunately, there's no amount of persuasive talking that will convince her that Cierra isn't an enemy. Either Irene will have to vouch for her, or Whisper will have to figure it out by observation over time. And Echo is suspect for being near Cierra.
Whisper will simply keep looking until she finds someone else.

[Outside the Infirmary/Infirmary]
Whisper may be waiting a while, if current activity levels are indicative. >.>
"Well, it looks like I'm going to have to help myself, and maybe someone else." Cierra finishes brushing herself off. "Echo, I'm going to go get my book from the beach; it might be able to help, a little."
-

"Book help?"
Not having access to words like 'how' 'can' and 'the' can be quite a pain sometimes.

"It's a basic introductory text on magic. If I am cursed, it might help out. Or, at least, maybe it can help me find out if I am cursed at all." Cierra walks over to the door.

[Garden]
Sophie is there, working. She seems to have made her own garden next to Jamie's.
[Infirmary Kitchen]
Brinika's still there. In a slooowly moving scene.
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
((RE Infirmary Kitchen: Personally, I'd really rather drop the scene. It doesn't feel like it is going anywhere, and it is far too fragmented and scatter shot to be coherent.))

Valente glanses with amusement at Tarin, but his attention is soon drawn away from her and to the camp around him. "Looks like not a lot of people around right now." At least not here.
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
[Outside]
The scene in the kitchen having concluded - if not, plotcloning happened - Brinika is laying on her stomach in front of a rock, staring at something on it.

[Outside the Infirmary/Infirmary]
"You? I... oh!" Cierra turns around. "I'm so sorry! I never even thought that... I'm not sure if it can help you. I don't know what's wrong with you. I thought the way you were was just the way you were. There are so many odd people around, I just never considered..." Cierra's face is a little red with shame.
[Somewhere On The Ground]
Tarin frowns. "It does seem rather deserted, doesn't it? Oh, maybe they're all playing hide and seek!"

He smiles at her reassuringly, though what she said doesn't offer much in the way of things he can say to tell her not to worry about it.

"Or they were all consumed by a earth vampire?" The tiefling suggests without any concern that it might be true.
"In either case, let's go look."

Well Irene's in a crisis, Reinholdt is scribbling on underground dwarf fortress walls, and I don't think Mister Buttons is a good greeter for a group larger than one.
They get an approaching Butler instead.
"Welcome to GLoG sir, ma'ams. How may we help you today sir, ma'ams?"

"Yes, well, to put it simply: I'm here to offer GLoG cloning services. For members and redeemees." Naitiri hopes she said that last word properly. The neon woman smiles. "Effective immortality."

How does that even work? Can a ghost even be permanently damaged? Did it stair into a cross... or the sun? Or does ghost vision degrade over time.

"I read a message in a bottle and now I can only see in infrared." Irene says with a sigh.

Andy nods. Surly he belive what he sais, but this things threw other questions in the pool, but they can wait a bit.
"So could you discribe one of these cell guys? Maybe one of them is going to come here soon."

Shrike's eyebrows both rise in surprise!
"Really. Well, why would we want such a thing?" she asks, politely.
-

Cabin 8
A wild Zamira appears! Naitiri is confused. "Oh, hello. A friend of Shrike's?"
Then they both ask similar questions. "Well, um..." Naitiri's never had to explain the benefits before. They should seem more obvious. "It can keep you from aging, if you so desire. It can create a new body for the sick, dying, or dead. It's fairly inexpensive, considering the treatment, and I'd heard there were several wealthy adventurers working here." A wild Zamira appears! Naitiri is confused.

Shrike chuckles. "This is Zamira. She's my Lunar Mate, and my eternal companion." The redheaded Solar gives Zamira a soft smile, motioning for her to sit. "Z, meet Naitri. She's Fettina's sister," she chuckles softly.
Then listens!
"Well, you paint a pretty picture - for those who aren't already functionally immortal already," she says with a wink. "Now, what's the downside? Aside from being just like the Tin Man?"
That being a certain Magtok, L., but Naitiri probably doesn't know that. :smalltongue:
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
"Long-lived, not immortal. Cloning doesn't work on Exalted anyway. Or rather, it does, but there's no way to get the clone to Exalt."
Zamira frowns. "In any case, immortality doesn't interest me that much. As a council member, I'd say there's nothing that should prevent you from offering this to anyone you want, but it should be optional."

Outside the Infirmary
Whisper will continue looking in windows until she finds someone who is not Cierra or Echo. She isn't tall enough to see in without climbing up, and the way she's climbing seems more akin to a lizard than a humanoid shaped figure. She just seems to be able to cling to the outside wall somehow, and even crawls between windows with no difficulty.
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
Outside the Infirmary
Whisper might possibly spot a plotcloned Quinn, heading in the direction of the Infirmary!

Whisper drops from the wall vanishing into grass and suddenly a little hand grabs at Quinn's ankle from the grass she's walking on. :smalleek:

[Outside the Infirmary]
Quinn stops in surprise when she feels herself being grabbed!
And looks down, carefully, and curiously. Wondering who or what is trying to kidnap her...
