Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
Take a more attentive look at the area to the right of that eye. Same with the woman and the elements at the left and right that frame the scene.
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
If you look closely, everything to the left of the tree forms a face (with the tree acting as the edges of the face). The black cloak the woman's wearing is the nose, her skirt+the puddle below make the lips.

I see it now. Take a few steps back, and to the right (Your right, when facing the screen). Helps if you turn away while doing this, then turn at it.

Let me answer that:
I sadly do not know the source comic. Though reading back through that, I'd kinda like to know myself.. Does anyone here know what that comic is?
This is probably long since answered (the thread has gone on many pages, and this is but my first viewing). But
errant story, which is now winding down and in its last few pages. It is, hands down, my favorite webcomic, and the only one other than this which I read regularly. I would recommend anyone who doesn't mind seeing the occasional (but rare) nipple or 5-syllable word read it.
As a note, it is often disturbing, violent, and contains many references which I doubt anyone under the age of 25 will get (unless you read a lot, have played every game Working Designs ever published, and/or read his previous webcomic*). It is a mature story in every sense of the word.

Got bored, made a motivator. It's alright I guess:
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
I guess I should start paying off some of my back tax…

Yeah, you also need a Knowledge (Physics) and Knowledge (Calculus) roll to do that.

His wife is visiting her mother, so he has to take the little one with him on the raid.
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
According to my research (read: TinEye + Wikipedia), the painting is called, "Rescue of Haakon Haakonsson," painted in the 19th century by artist, Knud Bergslien.
Art history is fun! ( n.n)vb

It's very true. There are few characters who would have huge penalties to Str, Dex, Con, Wis, and Cha rolls.

I don't recall Sheldon being clumsy, but he definitely has all the rest. I think he has a charisma of 3. I still owe a tax.

I thought it was "Bring your kid to work day" for Viking Raiders, Inc.
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
If anyone is interested in the actual answer it's a scene from the Norwegian civil wars (late 12th, early 13th century). The baby is the son of the last king who's being taken to safety because various claimants to the throne (the king having died before the birth of his son) would want to kill him to secure their claims
Re: D&D Demotivators Episode V: The Demotivator Strikes Back
I figured the text doesn't make any sense, regardless of what's actually on the picture. It just seems too heroic.

OK, I think that's enough damage for one day.
