You know... Where you say 'Murca, I immediately think you've misspelt Murcia. And that's in Spain.

Archie has given some awesomeness to our meet-up without being here. He's a good guy like that, but a bad guy for stabbing my ride! Now how will I get back?

Well, so you know what you're missing out on, there are two adverts on this site, both restricted to the forum pages only, one at the top and one at the bottom. They are to help pay for the forum.
The advertisments are handled by Project Wonderful, where advertisers choose which websites to display their advertisments on specifically. They pay for the advertisments at price per day amount, but are only charged for as long as the advertisment is displayed (e.g. they might only be charged for 1 hour). The advertisment with the highest bid in each region on the price per day amount is displayed. NSFW and animated advertisments are prohibited by Rich for this site. As advertisers specifically choose which websites to display their adverts on, this often results in highly relevant advertisements being displayed.
I hate the advertising on most sites and was originally planning to make a way for moderators to switch off advertising (call it a perk, if you will), but dropped the idea after seeing them in action.

-Rawhides oft-said speech on internet dealings-
Trogland is all of America.
The advertizements are incredibly unnoticably here in the Playground, and I barely noticed the Archon ad (I saw the :amused: and arch's avvie but assumed they were some-form of stock-photo deal) until it was pointed out. :smalltongue:
What Rawhide said, yeah. :smallamused:
To you foreigners, maybe. But the faux-Canadian Mooncat, she thinks otherwise. :smalltongue: (Troglandia is all of 'Merica though, wherever a man with a red-white-and-blue Bandana calls home. :smallcool:Because he is so totally not Canadian.)

You'll have to stay there forever.

This seems like a great idea at 2:30 AM!
O Trogland!
Our home and native land!
True Munchkin love in all thy gamers command.
With cups of booze we see thee rise,
The Board Gamers strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Trogland, we roll our dice for thee.
Trog keep our land glorious and free!
O Trogland, we roll our dice for thee.
O Trogland, we roll our dice for thee

Working at the library was great. The pay wasn't that good, but they let me borrow any book for free.

That reminds me, I need to find out where the library is so I can apply for a job there...

No way, I was sure it was just Texas.
Meh. I thumb my nose at all ye Southerners. And then try and avoid eye contact with anyone from Northern Europe or Canadia.
ION: Why the hell do people think Jessica Rabbit is sexy?

I wish I had the good fortune to be able to apply for such a position.
But I've looked around with the help of my Employment Consultant and supposedly, even if I were qualified, I'd have to wait for someone to die...

Put your name down on the casual roster for a library assistant.

Well, lets ask.
Hey boys, why do you find THIS sexy?

Probably the long legs I'd say. /shrugs I'm gay but can still appreciate the female form.
ION: Unblocked the ads on the site. Lets see what I get, shall we?
- Something for Gaia webcomic or something so far? :smallsigh:

I've volunteered already, but I have not yet heard back from them.
My plan is to go and get another form and try again.

Gaia is actually quite good. You should give it a try.
And I too, despite being asexual, can judge a person's physical attractiveness. That wasn't attractive because the first thing my brain said was: She must be in a lot of pain while wearing those shoes. But prefaced with a cringe.
Someone get her some warm water to soak her aching feet in!

And made by the same people that do Sandra and Woo (which has also been advertised).

I'm boring and don't flirt. See previous comment about being asexual.

But obviously, snow coloured yellow due to pollen would obviously only be at the start of the snow season and according to what I read, is usually from alpine conifers. But again, I haven't actually read up on it in years.
Hmm, that actually sounds plausible. Then again, pollen from conifers, while highly visible, isn't actually especially allergenic...

Isn't that exactly the point of libraries? I mean, I'm not a frequent library visitor, but when I do borrow something, it's because it's free (for as long as I return it on time).

Not really. Her shapes are too exaggerated (too thin, too large bust), and her eyes creep me out. Also, I'm pretty certain she's going to fall over to her left any second now...

Well, I wouldn't know. I just assumed that some people are susceptible to it.

I don't. It's a cartoon character & isn't doing anything particularly interesting.

Depends on the library.
I know that at my old High School we could borrow out any reference work that wasn't an Atlas, Dictionary, or General Encyclopaedia.
Of course, you had to have it returned by the next morning.

Actually, I did get to borrow things that hadn't been catalogued yet. But that wasn't what I was referring to. Just your regular ordinary books.

Damn mouse keeps moving when I'm not even touching it.
But I suppose that's too be expected. I can't even remember how old it is.
Oh, and now that I've told the nice Internet people you behave! Well, that's just typical!
