You'll see! :smallwink:
And it's July 2.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
A little over a month then.
And about a month and a half before my own birthday (August 19'th)
Well, school's almost over, and we all know what that means :smallsmile:

I like the blue-haired grandparent- "Does it involve fixing the window? Again?"

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
My Birthday was last Friday. :smalltongue:
Great comic! The little bro is cooler than I expected, and poor Matt gets no justice...
Since one of the half-elves will likely be going with the team, I'm curious now about which it will be. The sister is pretty cool, but so's the bro. They're both wizards, but the bro has a level of Bard and a Prestige Class. Hmmmm... :smallconfused:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Happy late birthday, Sandalhat!
Why say or when you can say and?
Two half elves!
(one full elf?)

Makes you wonder about what condition the human is in, right?

It doesn't seem like a half-bad dip, even if it is somewhat situational.

 The blue-haired one is Other Grandparent. There's another funny story involving Other Grandparent. I'll tell it later.

Evil Long Lost twins!?
Are your names each others spelt backwards? :smallconfused:
I really really like Arcane Archers. my favourite prestige class. Shame that, apparently, they suck.

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Oh, double birthday!
*Takes notes about July 2'nd*
Ah well, i have to go to sleep now, it's almost midnight here in Sweden.
See you!

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Arcane Archer is an unfair class.

Of course it is. Just like Darkwood Stalker. WotC holds the standard "elves are the best" racial stereotype. That's why I hate elves. Just like Matt, who I have a lot in common with.

There are hundreds of fighter fixes and thousands of monk fixes. Are there any Arcane Archer fixes?

And that's why they're not like that at all in my comic.

The Pathfinder version seems pretty good.

And I could find it... where?

Alright.
Did Luic take the 3.5 or Pathfinder Arcane Archer? :smalltongue:

Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
Let's hope Pathfinder, for his sake.

It's all 3.5 edition. He doesn't really plan to take more than 2 levels in it anyway.

Good. Elves are annoying because everybody makes them smart, agile, and long-lived. I might make elves very short-lived in any campaigns I DM.

... you're annoyed with ELVES...
...for, basically, being portrayed... as ELVES...
-_-
I don't like dwarves because they're always blacksmiths, miners, and live in caves. I don't like humans because their ears aren't pointy. I hate angry mobs because they're always giant douchebags as a whole but for some reason are nice individuals.
-
Re: Murphy's Law (Thread 2!)
If only I could be that excited about school. "Hey, everyone, guess what? I finally took that level of Research Assistant!"
But Radic's expression was funny. Looks like she knew Matt was going to react like that even before that arrow broke the window.

its the fact that elves are always portrayed as "better than you" rather than being portrayed as "elves" that tick people off, that is probably what he is really talking about.
I agree with him really, I'm thinking of deconstructing elves one day, portraying them as imperialist racist jerks that they try to conquer the other races and enslave them because they consider them savages, with strong imperialism tones to show everyone what really happens when a race considers themselves (and really are) superior than the rest of them....
but don't mind me, I don't want to derail this thread okay? go back to whatever you were really talking about...

Wow. You sound exactly like my friend. He hates how elves are always portrayed as better than anyone else. We always come up with amusing conversations and jokes about that.:smallamused:
