Re: YOU! (A Picture/Media Thread): XXI
I like my dad's girlfriend's eyes. They're (iirc) dark greenish on the outside, blending into mid brown on the inside, with light-brown flecks all over it. One of the few things I like about her <.< (another being that she gave me a recipe for Chai I have to try)
My Boy wanted to drag me into the Telstra shop just to look at the eyes of a girl who works there. I think I've seen them before, but I can't quite remember them.
Finally, I once met a guy who had the most striking, gorgeous bright green eyes I've ever seen. He also had pale skin, black hair and always wore a black trenchcoat. Quite a sight to behold...
Me? Brown v.v

Mmmm, mud is delic- What? WHOSAIDTHAT! It totally wasn't me >,>
I have blue eyes with a bit of grey mixed in 'em. It's kinda cool.
Eyes are always interesting to talk about. I've seen some pictures that are just of an eye, and the iris always looks so AWESOME.
Also, while I was at the dentist earlier, the lady who was cleaning my teeth told me I look like Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe, really). I've been getting this since I was in like 4th grade, when a lady approached my mom and I while we were at Ikea's shopping for furniture and asked me to be in a commercial because I looked like him.
I'm glad this happens less often now. It might have something to do with the fact that I almost always wear a hat.

Re: YOU! (A Picture/Media Thread): XXI
I hear ya. I myself have had people arguing over whether I more strongly resemble Harry Potter (I first heard this one before the movies came out) or Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood portrayal), but just the other day, completely out of the blue, a woman told me I look like Michael Jackson. Can't believe I didn't think to ask "at what age?" (More oddly, she said she wanted her daughter to introduce herself to me, but she declined. Hmm.)

I believe that is called hazel. I have hazel and that's a pretty close description to my eyes.

Mud is great! I'll try to remember to see if I can find a photo of my friends and I playing in the thigh-deep, silky-smooth mud of the Hume Weir next time I go to mum's...
I think I was wrong about the girlfriend's eyes, actually. I think they're more reddish brown flecks, now I think about it.

It's not impossible. In fact, it's pretty easy.
Well, obviously not with wind instruments, but string instruments.

I would love to see (get it? oh ho ho) someone with (natural) purple or lavender eyes.
Speaking of eyes, I've never actually seen someone with heterochromia :(
I have seen a cat with the ocular condition, it's eyes were the most remarkable gold and blue.

You are so missing out. The first time you notice it it's really weird, because you don't realise for ages, generally.

I miss nails too, but they make it impossible to play piano, which is more important.
Thank you, dear.

My cat likes to climb over me when I am using my lappy.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with a cat who feels threatened by the computer...

That's because you're his mummy. He tries to get your lap to give milk.

Some I've purchased just around town, but I also order online from a jeweler in Israel who does high quality gems in silver at reasonable prices.
You should find a jewel to adorn one of your excellent fingers. I think a green stone would suit you.

The last time someone tried to do that to me I slapped him in the face.
...afterwards.

Ohhhh no. Normal cat kneading is akin to the kneading of a cat with a suckling problem as the daily ocean wave is to the one driven by a gale-force wind. I've lost at least two velvet items of clothing to snags from kitties who mistook napped fabrics for mama, and that's to say nothing of the mess cat tongues will make of the nap. Normal kneading doesn't wreck fabric.
-
Re: YOU! (A Picture/Media Thread): XXI
I should note that normally she prefers to climb onto my chest, completely blocking my view of the lappy. Also, she loooooooove kneading.
-
Re: YOU! (A Picture/Media Thread): XXI
I'm a dog person. They like to sit on my chest while I type in bed.

Rings never fit me. :I I was at a stall going through every ring, and they were either too small or too big.

Well, unless the fabric's kinda worn out anyway. In which case it's not the cat's fault.
At any rate, normal cat kneading is more of a nesting function: they'll do it to manipulate the materials around what they've claimed as a napping spot.

You have to remember that when nameless speaks of his cat he really means his smaller-than-average lion. Seriously, his cat is giant.
