Perhaps we should all synchronize watches! Not so we are all here at the same time...just because spy people do it, and they're totally cool. *nods*
I don't have a watch. .-.

I'm not DeeRee, but I'm still delighted. Diana Wynne Jones is fantastic. Now you've got to read the Lives of Christopher Chant, and Charmed Life, and the Magicians of Caprona ... and then everything else she's ever written. (I'm particularly fond of A Sudden Wild Magic, Fire and Hemlock, and Hexwood.)
I'm still attempting to summarise answers to Serp's questions. I'm not very good at the whole 'summary' bit. Need to edit.

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
Oh you two. Filling up RB with you huggles and consipracy theories.
What next? That DeeRee and I are the same peron and are actually from Canadia land?
Awww, a button's coming off my pyjamas. And I lost my sewing kit. :smallfrown:
EDIT:
@dish: I saw the Lives of book in the charity shops a few months back, but I was penniless and when I went back it was gone.
I was mildly discontent.
But I've decided I do like her books a lot.

Good! :smalltongue: The natural place of women is not in pyjamas.
*shudders* Pyjamas are scary creatures in the wild...

I love how in all spy movies, they say "synchronize watches", they push a button on their watch, and then they're all on the same time. A single button! And how do they know they all magically set it to the correct time? It just seems so weird.
But, instantaneous synchronization aside, I got some courses changed around, and now I have a better Biology class (better friends/students/potential group project mates, but same great teacher. Win-Win.) and a spare! Wee!

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
Two Shadows: Elf: A spare class slot? Well, good luck filling that with something nice quickerish. :) Glad you're liking the Bio though. Punnet squares FTW?
Sun: Nice. How long did you stay up for before going top bed?
-
Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
Too my knowledge, 13 hours on 3 hours of sleep.

Nameless is Cobra.
Cobra is Nameless.
Hug obsessed and online at the same time, they even post vaguely alike.
-
Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
Except the Nameless persona is a lot more of a fop than the cobra persona. That's about the main difference I can think of off hand.

Re: Thanatos's Tharmturges Present: Tropical, Tipsy, and Typically Random Banter #127
I've heard that discussing your potential offspring on or before a first date is normally a bad move. :smallcool:
EDIT: Could be a front. Meanwhile, I just don't think any non Curly could post like Curly, no matter how hard they tried. :smallwink:

I am now thinking of a cross between Dorian Gray, Oscar Wilde and Nameless. It is indescribably amazing.

WHy is everyone picking on me? I'm not the only girl in the world you know. I may be the only girl in the world on the internet right now, but that's no excuse for being mean and nasty.
And I thought Cobra was soft and snuggly and happy. :frown:
*goes and hides away again* P.S. This is a joke.

That's what I thought when I read it, actually. Seems...presumptuous.

Yeah, but it's not like biologists are normal people, either.

Just give me the coordinates, and your pimple shall be gone in an instant.
The rest of you might also not be intanct, but hey, that's a price you have to pay.
