Suddenly, Catherine walks into the bar!
Girl probably needs a drink after being locked into a prison world.
Hey it looks like someone else is here, good thing Red decided to wait! Now, time to turn into something inconspicuous and see what this person is up to..... well once she's not looking anyway.
((Hey Eadin do you have a character sheet for Catherine? Just to see what she looks like.))
The girl looks like your basic 20-something female person.
Dressed in jeans, boots, a top and a leather jacket. She's got chin-length red hair and blue eyes.
Said girl is ordering a drink at the bar right now! Hasn't noticed Red yet.
((I'm too lazy for character sheets. She's a basic human girl with demonic powers that are not noticable unless she uses them))
Red shape shifts into slimy water and sinks under the floorboards. After getting close enough to the redheaded girl Red releases a wave of of malice and mischief but mostly mischief. The wave would identify Red as a demon to anyone who could feel it.
As soon as Valente appears to be getting up Astrana is quick to place herself in his path, even using her tail to block him if it's needed. "Valente, don't you see? Rot was with AMEN, I even think they told you that at some point. All Ilpholin ever wanted was to use you to save Rot from your family." The tiefling attempts to tell him as fast as she can, making sure she's as close to him as possible.
If this manage to delay him she will continue. "She can deny it however she likes but I know she don't really care about you. Why are you even here for instance? She just put an enchantment on you so you can't think straight."
[Cessie and Harnel]
So since the scene with Yusa stopped I guess we go back to the point where they were discussing where to go.
"So why don't we go where you want first? You seem to know your way around here after all."
Cat will feel the malice and mischief and raises an eyebrow.
She'll release a small electric current around her, as she can't see anyone close but knows something's there. Might scare them out of hiding!
Red smiles, well he felt like he was smiling even without a mouth, and takes in the shock. What he absorbed would only amount to one Zio ,weak lightning, shot. Reforming himself behind the redhead in his favorite childlike form he spoke,
"Awwww...... I thought you would hit me with something more powerful. Are you some kind of witch or sorceress old lady? "
Red wondered wondered if calling her old would provoke her. He badly needed some firepower in his arsenal and one Zio was not gonna cut it.
"I don't like wasting my power on demons,"She says, not impressed.
Pretty cool gal, that Cat.
"So what do you want anyway? Did your mommy never learn you some manners?"
She taught, I just never learned. I wasn't actually looking for something specific. Just looking to have some fun till I fill up my arsenal. Would it kill you to smile, lady?
Sheesh, Red wondered why he kept using a child's form. He was nearly 6000 years old anyway. Well it kept most people off guard, at least only those that judge by appearance.:smallannoyed:
((Man Cat's pretty cold.))
"No, but it might kill you." She says, sipping her drink.
"What arsenal? Don't think you'll find any toys here."
((She just doesn't have much of a temper))
"Magic Arsenal, not toys. I've no need of physical weapons anyway. Lady if a woman's smile could kill me I'd have died five millenniums ago."
Red had half a mind to shape shift into something nasty and try to take HER arsenal. Malice seeped out of him, Red stopped it as soon as he noticed it flowing out.
((Red has the temper of a ten year old, quite opposite from Cat.))
"And you're calling me old." Another few sips are taking.
"If you're looking for magic, there are some shops in inside that sell a lot of magic weapons and spells. Will have better luck than finding it in a bar."
She doesn't seem at all scared of the annoying little kid. Just enjoying her drink.
"Lady are you deaf, as well old? I said I have no need of weapons and I can't cast spells anymore than you can get that 10-foot pole out of your backside. The arsenal I'm looking for is the stored elemental energies that I collected but lost as I got plane shifted to this Nexus.
Look I we got off on a bad start here lady but if you can help me get my arsenal back I can do something for you in return, Kill someone or explore a dungeon.
Well if she still doesn't help him then he had no choice but to go elsewhere for help or wait for another to enter the Black Dragon's Den.
"That's ridiculous. I've been at AMEN for days now. I would have heard something about that before now." Valente says. At least he stopped. "And I'm here because she said I could go out for a bit, not to listen to crazy accusations." Despite his words, the vampire does look a bit unsure.
"You need her permission to go out?" Astrana asks with a raised eyebrow, sensing his doubt. "I ask you this Valente, have you ever really questioned anything she have ever done? Or is everything she have said and done been absolutely perfect in every thinkable way?" She continues, trying to sound calm and rational despite the fact she have a hard time suppressing her anger at the moment.
"Yes." Valente says with somewhat forced determination. "Everything's fine. Astrana, I'm leaving now." He gives her a moment to move out of the way herself before he tries to push past her.
"No it's not Valente. Nothing you said had reassured me of that. You can barely talk to me anymore. You have completely isolated yourself with that woman, that's not healthy." The tiefling replies, just letting him brush past her.
"Goodbye Astrana." Is all Valente says as he quickly leaves the bar, headed back toward AMEN.
Astrana doesn't reply, she just closes her eyes as he leaves, opening them again a moment afterwards. She imagined herself getting more upset but she's not. She had one more idea and then she would just give up.
Or at least give up partly.
She needed a break first though, anything to take her mind off all this. Looking around the tiefling doesn't find anything she looks for so after a moment she leaves as well.
[Cessie and Harnel]
Sort of, yeah.
"Yes, I'd rather see the organizations honestly however. This place doesn't really feel it suits me. The kind of place you go to when you like to forget about everything." Her feelings about alcohol wasn't a mystery, her father had raised her rather conservatively.
[Cessie and Harnel]
"So where do you like to go first? Remnant? GloG? They both sound interesting." The dragon mage suggests.
"Well Remnant is less an organization and more a police force. So I suppose GLoG it is then." Harnel says, standing. "If you're ready to go."
"Of course, no use sitting around here is it?" Cessie says with a faint smile. "We'll have to walk to this place though as I rather not change clothes." She fakes a cough.
The dragon mage will of course accept Harnel's arm if he should offer it.
"Oh? Shapechanging ruins your clothes? All the magic in the world and you can't make clothes meld?" Harnel asks, offering his arm and leading the way to GLoG.
"Dragons don't usually take human form but I'm a bit special." Cessie replies with a faint smile. "I could tell you all about it later. But for now let's just look around a bit."
Sniper Flaming Hawt Human Reinholdt enters the tavern and takes a look around. Been a while and maybe Ermine was here. But it seems like no luck this time. Taking a flask out of his jacket, he takes a swig and makes a face wherein it's clear he doesn't like drinking the stuff, before putting the flask back.
After which he finds and takes a seat.
Silly plot clones.
Angie walks into the tavern assited by a young man. She looks old and frail her body weak though she is still young. Her golden hair long, long and light almost seems to float out behind her. Her skin is pale and she squints in bright light. The young man looks nervous glancing around the bar as he goes to get her some food.
Dipsnig strolls into the Den, with an expression much like a stormcloud and Kirk presumably following.
Angie's eyes follow Dipsnig as he walks into the tavern.
The young man leans over and whispers something in her ear.
Go ahead. I'll be fine, and you have other work to do.
The young man frowns but nods and gets up and leaves the tavern.
Angie turns back to watch Dipsnig. She gently reaches out with her empathic ability to see if his emotions are as stormy as his face.
