There are plenty of women with longer shirts. They're just not main characters. :smalltongue:

Because you, like myself, enjoy imagining that the guys have bared their midriff anyway? :smalltongue:

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Hmm. . . We should probably start thinking of a name for the next thread soon

Well unless Ten pretends to not be dragon blooded, they DO have someone above Patrician to contest that.

Him posing as an Immaculate Monk carries its own problems.
...me, I'm confused as to why a Dynast is talking to (seeming) mortals. They don't normally do that, you know.
-
Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Probably it's because there's nobody else there to talk for him.
-
Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Or maybe he's a pro-mortal Dynast. Like those nobles who like to talk to commoners.

Maybe it's like talking to a squirrel in the park?

Will that really decrease the odds of the name being afflicted?
Also, what sort of problems would having Ten Winds pose as an immaculate monk carry? As far as I can remember he actually WAS one at some point, so he should know how to convince people that he still is.

If Nemen Yi's reaction is of any indication, people might presume him dead.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
"I got better"?
"Rumours of my demise were greatly exaggerated"?
"I am so awesome I roundhouse-kicked Death in the face and came back to life"?
"...it was just a drunken stupor"? :smalltongue:

This is Exalted. He must have punched Death so hard he came back to life. Right? :smalltongue:

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Tax reasons nothing. You take a nap in a ditch and people start declaring you this and that!

None of you have that right. Not after the constant speculation about Ten while I was maintaining that he was just a high-xp Terrestrial.
I allways supportet the Terrestial theori, so i still have that right :smalltongue:

But he can allways just say he is a normal dragon-bloodet.

as i said, he is just a normal decent guy, who is warning some fellow travelers!

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
Keychain of Creation V: Can't hit VI for a century.
Keychain of Creation V: The Reclamation Will be Villified!
Keychain of Creation V: Trials of Sorcery Try My Patience.
A thought occurs. Anyone else wonder if Yellow Sid is bunking with Ten? I wouldn't be that surprised to find out he's actually rooming in the cart.

While this is largely true there are exceptions. House Nellens for example.

Re: Keychain of Creation IV: The Lore Thing
KoC continues it's tradition of interrupted speech lines!
I liked this page! New character and... ample close-ups on Marena. I'm simple, okay. I must also say that I'm getting more and more used to the armed version of the characters, and Jukashi's skill and familiarity with them also increase noticeably every few updates.
That said, this page also flew right over my head.
First of all, what does Marena think is unfair? Its seems to have something to do with her being made to restrain herself in some way or other (perhaps by switching out of her laced-at-the-front-with-nothing-underneath top she wore before), but from the discussion it seems to be about something relating to their Exaltations.
Second: "It's still not period, mister." Que? I think I just don't know enough English to divine the meaning here.

I suspect she finds it unfair she is not allowed to chase anyone or thing that caches her fancy in the blessed isle.

I think it should have been "It's still not, period, mister."
As in:
"Curing cancer is not easy."
"It is, for me."
"It's not, period."
Period being said to emphasize that the discussion is over, since a period character ('.') ends a sentence. And the "mister" is tacked on to for scolding effect.
