SpoilerSince I don't really want to Rage that much I'll just spend 1 Rage, and attack the squirrel twice, then if the first one kills it, I'll attack another at +1 diff (bite difficulty is 5, I'm pretty sure.)
SpoilerA excellent point I didn't consider. It is worth noting there is some sort of round robin on secondary actions, but since his first action is not to run away, the point is moot.
And a difficulty of 5 to bite? It's 7 for vampires. That's just wrong.
Well I will look that up when I get a chance, but for the remainder of the fight it will be 6, because that's what I've been doing for everybody, including the squirrels.
SpoilerWhy is it wrong for Werewolf to have difficulty 5 bites? They can only do it in wolf, near-wolf and warforms when they have the physiology to bite properly, it should be easier for a wolf like head to bite someone.
"Ah hell" Sam curses softly as he prepers to attack again.
SpoilerWhy did Xian comment it was okay to go for him rather than just say what he is doing?
Deep Fang, picking himself up, attempts to slice his fang dagger across squirrel 4's belly.

SpoilerBecause Xian didn't realize it was his turn. Also he was in the cancun jungle the last few days with limited and very expensive Internet access. I'm back at the resort now though, renting a speedboat this afternoon. I'll be back home in a couple days though.
As an opening emerges in the skirmish Sam dives forward and tries to crush one of little pests with his paw.

Growing into a rage, soft paws goes on a rampage, chomping squirrel 2 neatly into a small pancake, made of bite shaped holes, seconds before he bites down into hour-tales. Still ready for more, she turns and attempts to bite squirrel 4, but Hour-tales is rolling around too much and she just barely misses him, getting a mouth full of fluffy tainted fur.
Hour-Tales manages to grab Squirrel 4 off his chest, and manages to hold it firmly as it bites down into his claw. Thankfully his claw is too thick and muscular for it's small jaw to get any leverage, and it does nothing.
Meanwhile Squirrel 3 decides Trashcan is in better need of it's attention and it leaps at him, clawing midair. Unfortunately for the squirrel, Trashcan backs his face up and slams his paw down on the creature. The squirrel collides with the ground before the large wolf puts all of it's weight on it, squishing it so badly that it's eyes pop out.
Finally, squirrel 5 barely manages to pull itself out of Hour-tales rear, only to have Deep Fang's Dagger drop straight into the little creature. The blade goes just deep enough into the creature that it stops moving, it's tiny arms twitching.
Combat is basically over, as the only living squirrel is in Hour-Tale's grasp. What do you do?
"You okay, Hour Tales? W-what the &@$? were those things, anyway -- fomor or something? Sh-sh-should we check the Umbra o-or continue around here? I'm worried, you guys..." Softpaws begins to fuss around.
<I have no clue...> Hour Tales growls and whines out, squeezing the rodent in his hand hard enough to kill it if he has a good enough grip on it.
<Hope they don't have anything to do with our missing pack-mate.>

Spoiler
I assume trying to crush the thing is the same as grabbing it in the first place? If I'm wrong, please let me know.
Roll strength plus 3 extra for damage

Hour Tales feels the skeletal structure of the creature begin to give as he squeezes.

The squirrels eyes bulge as Hour-tales tries to crush it to death, and for a moment it looks like it's going to pop. But to everyone's surprise, they do not, and the squirrel lets out a loud cry of pain before collapsing in agony.

Softpaws approaches her injured companion, gently nosing his wounds, and healing them with the spirits' Gifts, mending flesh with her expended Gnosis.
"F-f-feel better?" if wolves could blush, she would be.

SpoilerThat right there made me go back and look to double check if the one biting your rear did damage. Thankfully for you, it was not.
Hour-Tales wounds have been completely healed by mama spit, and once more the pack is ready for action. (assuming deep fang is MIA for a few more days,) what do you do?
"It's certainly better than what it was," Hour Tales growls as he stands up, still holding the badly injured albino rodent in his hand. "Someone get this thing for me, please?"
The wind suddenly changes, placing you downwind. It is then that Softpaws and Trashcan sniff the air, and pick up a new scent.
Softpaws stiffens for a moment, then begins to investigate this new scent. She growls, "This way, I smell something."
"I guess not," Hour Tales growls with a slight canid grin before taking the injured and struggling squirrel and attempts to bite its head off before following Softpaws.

Damage on successes: [roll1]
The squirrel was unconscious, so you don't need to roll to kill it. The taste of it's blood in your mouth makes your stomach turn.
The pack follows the scent, leading them through a thicket of trees not far away. About a half mile away, you come across a clearing in the middle of them, which forms a very nice hidden alcove. In the center of the clearing is a man in robes, and he seems to be standing atop blue flames. Lightning cracks between him and the ground, and his eyes glow a dark blue color. Spread all around him in a circle are bodies of people, laying on the ground. You can't tell if they are alive or dead, but you don't see any moving.
You can hear his chanting from the edge of the clearing as you approach, and by this point you can feel the unnatural energy in the air. Almost a kind of death energy. He see's you at the edge of the clearing and turns, but takes no hostile action. He simply continues to chant.
Hour Tales does nothing for the time being but listen: listen to the words being chanted, observing every move that the being does. He wonders for a moment if he's seen or heard of such a ritual before.
