If she chooses to mess with the settings, she'll be able to find pretty much any song she can think of.
Yeah, she does that.
Then...Wow, this is so cool! she says, listening to the new song.
Runner's voice comes through the speakers over the song. Thank you.
She looks at the speakers.
You're welcome. she says.
But...how can you do that? Play pretty much whatever song?
I have a massive amount of songs stored in my databanks. Anytime I find a new one, I record it and save it. And since I have access to GLoG's computers, I have found many songs.
Wow, Helen says.
What if you run out of place to store the songs? What would happen then?
If that were to happen, I would either have to delete old ones, or stop recording. But, the odds of that happening are very small. The size of a Transformer's memory is beyond anything I have seen anywhere else yet.
Needs to play Alexis more to get used to her again.
Alexis finds herself still outside the door. Did I stay here all night? Just hovering in old memories, a new start, well it wouldn't hurt to spend a little time here, maybe make some new memories so I can forget the past. "Well here goes nothing." She knocks on the door.*Knock Knock Knock*
Oh, nice...
Hey! That's the door!
Helen walks towards the door to open it.
Runner stays in jukebox mode for now.
Assuming that trying means that she does, she opens the door to see Alexis dressed in black and red silk armor, with a long black and red sword belted to her waist. She has long Blond hair and bright green eyes. Uhhh, hi.
Assuming that I've been here too long and randomly type 'trying' to avoid godmoding...
Yeah.
Helen smiles at the Alexis, and says Hi!
What can I do for you? she asks.
"Well I'm not sure really, you see I'm already a member. Well I'm not actually all that sure why I'm here." Alexis looks around her. "I'm really not sure."
Well, why don't you come in? she asks.
It's probably a little chilly out there.
She still looks like succubus.
I forget. Has Alexis met Runner before? I think she has.
Likely, though she looks a fair bit different now, what with being a vampire and all.
One of them, wonderful I've had far to much trouble with her ilk in the past, but this is Glog, forgive and forget I guess. Just so long as she doesn't try anything on me. She better keep her distance. She steps in, "Thanks I guess."
Okay. Helen smiles.
So can I get you anything? A blanket, or a fruit, or something?
Silly her. Vampires dont' like fruit. Except for my Town vampire. But she's weird.
Alexis used to but yeah not anymore.
'Look thanks for the offers. But are you little loopy or something? What exactly am I going to do with either those?" She gives her a look that seems to ask if she's crazy. If she tries to touch me I will have to hurt her. Wouldn't that just be a tragedy. I should just get to my room, sleep then leave, I can already tell this was a bad idea.
Okay...I guess, if you don't want them... she says.
So...anything else? Or would you prefer to just have me leave? Helen asks.
She's really good at reading facial features. She can tell she's not really wanted.
Excuse me for interrupting, but you remind me of somebody I have met previously. Would you happen to know an Alexis?
The jukebox is talking to Alexis.
DC suddenly appears in the great room. Whee, plot clones. "Been a while..." He heads over to the bulletin board and looks over it in silence.
Alexis may or may not remember him as that guy she got in a shouting match/moral debate with.
Likely, though her morals have certainly got a bunch more flexible now.
"Look, no offense but I've had some bad experiences with your .... kind and your presence reminds me of it." She turns to look at runner. "Yes I did know her. She's.....dead now." She notes DC's presence as her eyes flit away from runner trying to conceal the half lie. Hmm.. him maybe she'd speak with him later, after she felt like a fight. Something to get her frustration out, a good argument could really make her feel better about her failure to start fresh.
DC may recognize the jukebox sitting in the great hall.
I am sorry to hear that. But, allow me to introduce myself. I am Runner.
Helen looks at herself. Yeah. Wings, horns, tail, tall...yeah, probably scary.
So she shape-shifts down to her human-form, maybe that'll make this person feel better.
"Well hello ...Runner." She looks back towards Helen, "That's very; accommodating of you miss... it would be awfully rude for me to just call you demon so do you have a name perhaps?" This was certainly a bad idea, now just to get some sleep and get back out of here, back to the taverna, maybe find a bit of work leave this place to get it done.
Yes, of course. Helen smiles. My name's Helykaan...or Helen, if you prefer. I personally like Helen better.
DC, over by the bulletin board, sighs quietly to himself. "Sad that I'm stuck in with the lich and the ISF now." He glances at the jukebox. Huh. "...Why are you a jukebox?"
Because I felt like it. Do you have a problem with that? He has a slightly sarcastic tone in his voice. As if he were attempting to mess with DC.
DC rolls his eyes. "Seems someone got a sense of humor while I was away."
What can I say? Guess the general public here has kind of rubbed off on me, so to speak.
