Thinking of CDs they should be square, then they'd fit in the case! Okay so they may become unusable but that's a small price to pay.
hmm we would have to redesign all imports for the new square cds.
but then they wouldnt make good frisbees or coasters
ps my back is on fire from having a tatoo

Is the tattoo of flames, thus making it look like it's on fire? Or is it most likely hurting a hell of a lot? I'm going to get one done at some point. When i know what I want and when I have money.

Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88

While I can't send you the CD, I can post a link to some of the downloadable songs from it. Its Irish drinking songs modified to appeal to cats and cat lovers. Furigan's Wake is particularly good.
Kitty Drinking Songs

Llama, I can't decide whether to hate you for using that word 'kitty' or to simply believe in the ignorance and illogical logic of the Llama that makes you think 'kitty' is an abbreviation for 'cat'. Hate, definitely hate. Temporarily.
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
Kitty isn't an abbreviation. It's a term of endearment and an expression of child like joy at seeing a cat.

Would you rather hear "Lord of the Pounce?"
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
So what? Name: Kitty.
Follow through: "Here Kitty Kitty Kitty."
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
I think our friendly neighborhood stacks assassin sent me a link regarding that, llama - do you have an actual cd of it now? Booty from the Gencon?
You still owe me a 'check out all this cool stuff i got to see' story or two. I want reports, dangit.

Don't you give me hate, lass. You've played enough werewolf games with me to know darn good and well that its illogical logic at its finest. Plus, the song that started it all is "Wild Kitty."
However, if it will appease M'Lady, Cat Drinking Songs
At the Sushi: Not many good stories to tell, but I did get some new Fluxx promo cards.

Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
Yeah, anybody who got to go. How was Gencon this year?
I had a severe case of don'thaveanymoney-itus so I couldn't make it.

Sure, but since it's a broader street, I either get out while the traffic light is red (even if it's too late you won't wait longer than when somebody is not completely there) or when we turn into the next street, which is much smaller, nearly never used and has parking lots always open at that time. I guess that's cause it's a brothel though...
Getting picked up is even easier since we have a supermarket nearby (best place to build a supermarket in the whole town ever) and thus enough parking lots. Yes, Graz is easy that way.

Reminds me of Laßnitzhöhe, that village is damn annoying. People park in a narrow street even although there's a free and big parking area is only hundred metres away. And that although the police is in the same street. But those don't do anything because they'd (and did) the same if they hadn't their own parking lots directly in front of the station.

Be careful what you say around here, or you will have all sorts of hormone-frenzy males volunteering to do just that for you.
Unless that was your intent, then you may continue.

On the subject of American Football vs Rugby, I'll tell you what...You get your biggest, roughest Rugby player and send him on over. We'll suit him up sans pads(just the way he likes it) and see just how long he lasts, shall we?
In fact, Steve seems to agree with me.

You mean both an American football player and a rugby player without pads. Then it would be fair to show who's roughest.

No. You all are proclaiming how tough your Rugby players are cause they hit eachother without padding and how our Football players are such wimps for wearing it. Put your money where your mouth is. I'm saying that the reason we have pads is so that we can hit or be hit a hell of a lot harder and still get up and play.
Just FYI, the kicker? Generally considered to be among the weaker NFLers.
Of course, that was an illegal hit. Here are some legal ones.
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
No, I'm saying they're tougher because they play without the padding. As if in "using padding is cheating".
Duh, wouldn't make sense to have one wearing padding against someone who doesn't :p
The other test would be making AF players play without the padding. I'm just saying I respect rugby players more because they play a very rough sport equivalent to AF if not rougher and they do it without all that protection.
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
Yes, I'm a football fan too, and they need that padding. In the early 1900's the sport was almost made illegal because it was so dangerous. People used to die playing it. And with the use of padding, the tackling only gets worse. People still get injured all the time, so obviously they need those pads.

I've watched both games. If your Rugby players tried to play Football without padding, the game would end with the last man standing. You do not hit as hard or as often.
Just so you know, I have played our version without pads in a pickup game. Our game ended with a trip to the hospital for one of our players. (That tends to be the result of a direct hit to the head by someone else's knee).

Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
So they actually differ in form of physical contact?
The more I read about them, the more I think these kind of sports are dumb. Primitive probably. Meh, I could say similar things about boxing, bullfights and um, a couple more controversial others.
-
Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
No! Cricket was counter Engineered from the planet Cricket! Other beings of the galaxy generally consider it as a very sick joke.
Meh, the weather outside is awful...

Re: FdL's Fuzzbox-Fueled Random Banter #88
Bah! You're all wrong.
Soccer is where the tough boys live. Why? Because of shots to the groins and the number of times that ball is kicked dangerously close to the aforementioned groin.
Oh, and thanks, Sweet Reina! *tosses a fish to da kitty*

Nevermind the fact that you can knock one of them over by running by them while breathing a little too hard...
