So yeah. being dumped via text sucks. especially when she wants to still celebrate your anniversary in two days.
Other than that. The sky is purple.
edit: No seriously. right outside its purple. i'm looking at it right now.

Good thing its too dark here to have a colored sky. I doubt it would do anything to help my current state of mind which is only just now calming down.

Unfortunately for people who interact with me, I'm rude pretty much no matter what. If we're friends I'll be rude because I think its funny and I know you'll be able to take it since I am probably joking. If I don't like you I'll be rude because, well, I don't like you, and because I think its funny.
Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
The sky here's a purply-brown. I usually think it's beautiful, but it seems so normal. Since it's like this every clear night. :smalltongue:
Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
well. it was purple. maybe it was just because of the storm. Oh well. Now its clear black and blue again.

I don't remember the last time I saw a sky colored in a cool way, but I was happy this afternoon because the sun was in a position where it looked like it was surging past its bounds. Driving home in the afternoon was one of my strangest pleasures in life.

I had something similar happen to me the other day. the clouds made a wall as far as my eyes could see. Spreading a blanket of cloud across the sky, I could see the line where it ended. Straight line of clouds all the way across my sky.

Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
Ahhh today was excellent. I went sailing for the first time around three years (WAY too long). It had a jib (small, second sail placed in front of the main one), which not I, my father, or my little brother who doesn't actually know how to sail knew how to use. So we figured we'd figure it out once we were on the water.
The wind wasn't too great at first, and I was still wrapping my head around sailing, since it had been a while. After a while, though, it all rushed back into me, in the period of about thirty seconds. It was the best feeling ever.
A minute or so later, my brother and dad realised what just happened, and made fun of me and the salt water returning to my veins, and cutlasses, and landlubbers, and that sort of thing. Then the wind kicked up, and it got FUN.
Apparently my jibes (turning the ship around with the wind from one side, then to your back, then to your other side - the more advanced way of repositioning your ship in relation to the wind) were way too fast for my brother and dad. They weren't fond of my turn-on-a-dime, almost-capsizing-along-the-way manoeuvres. :smalltongue:
Then it started raining, so it got even more fun. By the time we headed back in, it was dumping, and it was fun.
Ahhh, I am spectacularly happy right now.
*Group hug.*

^: It's... a salty dog hug. Hmm. *adds more fresh lime and enjoys*

It's really weird when it's both purple and orange at the same time in clear and flagrant violation of the laws of the color wheel!

You might think it wasn't very punny, but that's just your opunion. Don't say any more, or I'll be forced to punish you, with punches.

Maaan whaaaat. How could you not want a pygmy elephant? It would be the cutest damn thing, and wouldn't even smell that bad. (the other things are personal wants, so you can not want those if you like)
Stupid reality. Spoiling my fun. It thinks it's so great... It's not!

Because I'm afraid the pygmy elephant would be terrified of my Demon Cat and would flee in righteous terror causing a substantial amount of property damage and therefore being quite annoying?
I don't pay attention to reality.
I've already decided that when I get my own house (and I mean house, not a flat, or anything (although I might be willing to house share. If they agree with what I'm about to say) I will genuinely fill every room in the house with as many books as possible.
Say, three or four shelves in the bathroom - actually, boxes would be better because of the damp - and possibly boxes and shelves for the kitchen. And then it's straight up shelves and shelves and cases and cases and boxes and boxes of books in every other room.
But if I'm lucky enough to have a shed I think I'll leave that place book free. Unless I get into mending my own books. But in all reality, it would be far too damp and dangerous for the books. WOuldn't want to risk mildew or spots. And then there's dangers to the binding.
*blink*
I should stop rambling about my books.
Anyway!
Yes, that's on my List of Personal Wants. Along with several other things. Like a trip to Iceland. And one to Egypt.

I agree, actually. How could I do it better?

Image of the sword-as-dipstick as he tests the humo(u)rs? Meh. I enjoyed it just fine on the first say-so.

"Don't you know that blood is the most important humour?"
I don't really know, I'm feeling more stressed than funny right now. And with that, I depart! To D&D, so that I can be even more pressed for time to finish my homework tomorrow!
Re: Recaiden's Resplendent and Rotating Realistic Random Banter #136
I'd probably go with something completely abstract with little to no relation to the original joke's idea. Probably involving some sort of particularly obscure reference.
