I mean, she's a cartoon, which limits the degree to which it's possible to find her attractive, but as mentioned (with image-link) somewhere above, the image you retain of Jessica isn't the cartoon but a version of the cartoon that superimposes more realistic, attractive characteristics.
But she doesn't have a great figure. She has badly-shaped legs and overly broad shoulders! Although I haven't seen the film, so I wouldn't know about her character.
So... in your head you remember a stunning redhead who doesn't look like a mutated noodle-carrot?

...You haven't seen the movie? And you're fixated on JR? Even aside from all that you need to see the movie. :smalltongue:
Your mind is given just enough emphasized, powerful details to remember as the rough sketch/specs and then fills in the details that make it work, one part power of suggestion, another part the most important sex organ being the brain.
There was a comedic but fairly well done argument in some anime about the whole ability to find a drawing or painting or sculpture attractive. Can never find it anymore when I look for the clip of it on youtube, sadly.
I mean, I'm not a fan, but, honestly, all I really remember is bustiness, red hair, and a shiny, sparkly clingy red dress. The rest is... ephemeral.

Moonie ... I see very little if anything wrong with the legs, and we can accept the overly broad shoulders because of what they're there to accommodate. And yes, we remember a stunning redhead who looks absolutely nothing like a mutated noodle-carrot.
Edit: Now the theme from Wishbone is stuck in my head, and I want to see the Purloined Letter episode (almost said Scarlet Letter, which is a completely different thing). Thanks a lot, Mutant. :smalltongue:

Hmmph. :smalltongue:
Because people who look good never die, of course.
I'm not fixated on her! I happened to post the question, and in order to not be randomly saying stuff without research, I watched a few of her scenes. I only posted the question in the first place because I kept hearing her being described as sexy elsewhere, and wanted to find out hy the hell people think so.
What kind of attractive? Like, good-looking, or pleasing to the eye?
(Ye,s I know they're the same sounding, but you know what I mean.)
So why is it hat no one who then looks at her afterwards goes 'ew, why did I ever remember her as attractive?'? IT MAKES NO SENSE

She doesn't have ankles. She might as well have skin-toned tentacles for all that we see. And the overly broad shoulders aren't needed to accommodate her various assets! Her shoulders go far far beyond what is needed, and it's just another reason they look fake anyway.

Re: Mynxae's Maliciously Magnificent Random Banter #183
I know what you mean. But that's due to the nature of the animation style and its limitations.
Now, had it been a live action production, things would be different.

I'm just glad I'm not reminded of my boss's daughter by you. That kid is weird. And sadistic. And twelve.
I'm kind of curious as to what places really bring her up all that often, then. :smallconfused:
All of 'em, including attractive in the sense or senses that I can't really discuss with you. :smalltongue:
Well, Bellisario's Maxim, mostly. And the people who aren't given to glossing it over bounce off of her like you and possibly AT.

Re: Mynxae's Maliciously Magnificent Random Banter #183
I would go straight for Jessica Rabbit.

Knee has giving us all a all-too-brief reminder, it seems. :smallwink: I javent particpated in this cpnversation enough, I think, but the furest I am eilling to go is "its the IDEA of Jessica Rabbit, not the stillframe Animation, is what makes he the appealing sexbeast we remember.". I dunno why i put it in quotes, but there you go. Any decently digured sexually confident female can inspire similar feelings if given the proper setup and poorly paid actors. :smalltongue:

Well, she'd have lost most of her defining points in both directions in live-action. She is like the combination of incredibly unrealistically ugly and incredibly unrealistically built in the way intended to be attractive.

Merely this wind. It's rather cold, for Queensland weather that is.
But if I close my window, it'll get too warm!
It is a most grave predicament.
-
Re: Mynxae's Maliciously Magnificent Random Banter #183
Hmm. Open window with closed curtains would help if it were an option, maybe.
Or a windbreaker and extra shirt?

Nah, I need the curtain up or it's really dark in here. We're trying to cut back on electricity consumption. At least in the lighting department.
And as evidenced by the fact that I had to look up windbreaker, I can safely conclude that I don't own one. Oh well... I'll just my dressing gown on. I'm not expecting visitors.

Knee why'd you have to go and show that? I have this uncontrollable "go watch youtube urge" now, and I JUST finished watching the first season of Gargoyles. I SHOULDN'T BE DOING ANYMORE TONIGHT, I'LL OVERLOAD! :smalleek::smallbiggrin:

Hmm... On sheer volume of fun, I'd say the first one.
Stylistically, I like the flame in the third one.
Also, I am rather curious as to what Tesla has done to provoke such a response in the last one.

It's a cross-over joke between a couple of Kate Beaton's earlier notable comics.
In this case the Battle of Hastings and the Tesla one.
Because Harold is getting shot in the eye while calling out for Tesla like one of the manic tesla fangirls.

While I am aware of the comics in question, that makes absolutely no sense. But I assume that was the intention.

Neither does tasting Key Lime Pie. That's getting shot in the head through the eyeball for ya.
There's a whole assortment of things he could be saying in the avatars she made, but I went with Tesla because it amused me the most and the Tesla cry became a sort of recurring joke for a bit with her comics.
Also a couple of them would just have been circumventing the board filters.

Oh. That explains it then.
In other, not at all related news: I just clicked on the link in your signature Kneenibble! Combined with the music I'm listening to, I now know exactly how I want my funeral to be!
I just need to get a weather control device and construct a mausoleum/funerary temple and hire the Tallis Scholars...
No... I'm not being morbid. I'm happy I know what I want to do with my death.

But... I LIKE DEM ALL! :smalltongue: Having to choose, I'd say one of the third, fifth, or sixth. Because Telsa is my favoritest avatar of yours (It made me laugh, then I'd see your post and... not laugh. Cuz they more thinkey. But whatever, the burning book one just confuses me. The iron dwarf is always nice, and I just prefer the ears... because I unno on that one.)
My death... I NEVER! *dramatic fancy gasp with fan* Well, if I'm lucky, before my 30th or after my 90th. cuz I really look forward to having that knowledge of a limetime in me and seeing where this 'human race' is going. Its interesting stuff, I don't wanna miss the next book. :smalltongue:
