Let me ask something straight-forward for a change: show me a half-orc shaving.

Ah yes, the secret behind an even worse shop owner than the potion couple.
Show me a duel between two science fiction weapons in this fantasy parody.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
ZhonLord: yep, I seriously misread the question about the speech bubble. Now for the sci-fi weapons. I was thinking of the Laser snail in a cyberpunk world (#1140 4th) at first, but we don't know of any duel that they participated in. Then I realized It's Always the Demon Roaches. #371 last panel, two roaches dueling with a lightsaber, reacting to the Star Wars references by Xykon. OQ.

What is a vital step when making egg dishes?

Move beyond ideas into a world where no one has any reason to fight each other.
OQ.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Tzardok: #138 7th “You can't make an omelet without permanently deafening someone”; and #760 7th “But you can't make an omelette without ruthlessly crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning to others”. The third omelet is in #444 last panel, the menu on the blackboard says “Egg white Omlette with Mimosas. Youi didn't ask that, but I want to include it here to make it easier to find the next time someone asks about omelets or about a word spelled in three different ways. Funnily the three different spellings make it harder to search the threads for this.

Show me an ambiguous thumbs up, and a definite thumbs up.
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Ambiguous - I'm not sure if Roy his lifting his thumb here, or a different digit.

Definite - certainly a thumbs up. But what does it mean?

OQ.

How would you classify Belkar's thumbs up?

Does Greyview wagging his tail count? If yes, my question is still open:
Show me a reference to a New World of Darkness gameline.
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
I am overdue for a hint:
Spoiler
Show
The reference is very explicit, with one of the characters holding the gameline's main rulebook.
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Ah, right, that. I was merely unsure what "gameline" even means.
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Oh. Is an explanation needed?
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
It would certainly clarify things.
Never heard of "new world of darkness". Don't know what "gameline" means.
-
Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
I'll try to make it comprehensive then.
The "World of Darkness" is a label under which multiple Urban Horror RPGs with similiar mechanics and a partially shared setting were published. There are multiple terms for those RPGs, but I tend to use the term "gameline". Vampire: The Masquerade is the most well known of those, but there are also, for example, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Mage: The Ascension, or Demon: The Fallen. In all cases you play as whatever supernatural creaure gives the gameline its name in a modern day setting that's hurtling in direction End of the World.
In 2004 and after three editions, the World of Darkness found its end with a bang (by having all the different Apocalypses from all the gamelines happen at the same time). Shortly after, a spiritual successor named "New World of Darkness" was published, this time with a base ruleset used for playing normal people, on which the gamelines of New World of Darkness built their own systems. Because of the common base, crossover games got a lot easier than in the old World of Darkness.
Many of the NWoD gamelines are spiritual successors to WoD gamelines, like Vampire: The Requiem, Werewolf: The Forsaken, or Mage: The Awakening, but one that was all new is Promethean: The Created, a game about playing Frankenstein's Monster-like beings that are on a journey to become real humans. And the main book of that gameline is the largest book Eugene is holding in the linked strip.
Incidentally, and to make the whole thing even more complicated, the games of the old World of Darkness got published again in a 4th edition in 2014, under the new label "Classical World of Darkness". A short time later the New World of Darkness got its 2nd edition and renamed itself into Chronicles of Darkness, because having two Worlds of Darkness around at the same time was simply too confusing.
And that's why we have five different names and abbreviations for two different clusters of RPGs.
Any questions left? Everything's clear now?
In that case, back to trivia please.

Well, at this point we're 48 hours past the clarification of what world of darkness is, so it's time to move on and keep the game going.
Find me an evil goatee that doesn't/didn't belong to Nale.

If it is, who has had a foodstuff named after them?

While my question still stands, could it be the Prime Minister Jirix?
Edit: Let's go with Mic_128's question, or OQ if my answer above was valid.
