Mind if I make her sing and dance "Bad Romance" too?
A question for the Cirrus ponies (mostly because they're the ones who interact with Sandy the most):
Without peeking at the character bio (or anypony else's answer, for that matter), what color is Sandy?
SpoilerDull blue with sandy brown mane
Remembering the pony maker picture...from the other RP, in which I wager you'd keep them the same..for this one
SpoilerSlightly dark blue body, dark brown eyes I think, and a sandy brown colored mane which is supposed to look speckled but you couldn't achieve that effect, or so I remember reading you mentioning that
To my shame, I only remembered the sand-coloured mane. And blue coat. Yeah. You mentioned that.
Hokay, that's good enough. I noticed Sandy always getting referred to as the "sandy unicorn", and I thought for the longest time that everybody forgot his original color. Apparently, I didn't give all of you enough credit. :smalltongue:
That being said, I did have a little free time during my study breaks, and I was curious what Sandy would look like if he did have a brown coat, and, well...
Interesting. The scratch suppose to do something?
Essentially, without going into a ton of depth about how exactly the ability works, it's like her own version of the compulsion spell she just gave up. The difference is, with her version, there's no (known) way to override it without killing Mystic.
However, the ability is resist-able, and it won't be activated without your say-so anyway. Plus, she has no reason to activate it unless Icy/Esme tries to kill her.
So, do you guys want Smoothie to deal/be able to deal with the problem or no?

I think I should go hunt down the last post with the griffon and Staccata in it since they're in the last thread...
Soft, did you see Chrisis' post in the misc adventure thread?
Mmm, comes Thursday night thru Sun I might not have access to a reliable internet connection.
So, if we could possibly wrap up some scenes with my characters, specifically Fox Trot, so that I don't bog/slow down everyone's roleplaying as they wait for a response from my character, over the weekend.
So, which Hex is Esmeralda complaining about? The one where she doesn't have a body of her own, or the one where she can't drink cold water or anything in order to switch back to Icy? And should I fix it or not?
Shoot, got double-ninja'd there. Don't think it has anything to change with the current scene, so it should be good.
The last question there of hers I think is the more important one. 'should she fix or not?'
My paraphrase which is longer. Do you want the dispel to work and be a quick fix or not?
Or does somehow it doesn't work forcing the lot to figure out another means? :smalltongue:
Comedic 'romance' shenanigans? J/k On a another note, its amusing how much more 'pairable' Esmeralda is with the stallions. What with Lone Star' being a tsundere with conflicted feelings about their night. And Fox Trot with his apparently insincere flirting and supposed dislike of her. I think he's grown to find Esmeralda amusing at the very least and doesn't mind her company, she lets him be more of himself, his jerky flirty self.
I find the dynamics of a man eater and a lady killer possibly in lustlovewith the other amusing and rife with dark humor shenanigans. Lots of silly mind games they'll try to pull over the other, and a gamut of silly stubbornness from both parties. Oh the dysfunctionality.:smalltongue:
While sorta true, you also have to consider how truly unstable Esmeralda is. We've already seen earlier this ponyday how her low impulse control can lead to trouble if she's not kept on a short leash. Plus, I can see Icy pairings as sort of the flipside to Esmeralda pairings. Fox Trot can see Icy as a sort of chance for redemption; the nice mare he doesn't deserve, but gets a shot at anyway and who (potentially) makes him want to be a better pony. For Lone Star, Icy could be an incredible grounding force for him, keeping his insanity and lack of impulse resistance under control. Of course, the win-win is the situation where the two personalities become one again, and then you get the best of both worlds.
Oh gosh, now it really is a soap opera. We've got fan theories and pairing predictions, now all we need is some sort of weekly newsletter/tabloid and we're offical. >.<
