Huh. Not that I know much about him myself, but when grandma mentioned him later today, she called him androgynous...

I wonder why the attraction between cursed persons and heavy die rolling games is so high. It's like they try to beat statistics at its own game...
Also, I see that Koorly has returned (even if it only proves to be temporarily) and is enriching our (Internet) lives with her illustrious presence. I would assume that is worthy of celebration. Now for a suitable way of celebrating.

Why am I not in bed yet!?
IRN:
I have now devised a suitable celebration. Sleep! I will now make my way to my bed posthaste.

MoonCat: Doi doi dum duh- ****!

MoonCat: We shall overcome, we shall overcome, we shall over comes someday
(MoonCat cuts finger on wall)
MoonCat: We are not afrai- ****! Ow!
(MoonCat finishes up moving bedframe and starts taking bedstead inside of her room to put on her bedframe)
MoonCat: Picture yourself on a boat on a river
(MoonCat slams hand into doorframe while moving the bedstead, which has gotten stuck)
MoonCat: LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMON- Augh! Ow! goddammit!
(MoonCat moves mattress onto bed)
MoonCat: We shall overcome, we shall overcome
(MoonCat hits ceiling with mattress, which falls on her other hand, and she hits her shin on the bedstead)
MoonCat: We will not- OH WHAT THE ****! THIS ROOM IS TRYING TO KILL ME!

Yes, it's a pretty good song, though it's kinda grating if you listen to it too long.
You've been swearing a lot recently, haven't you? I did not hear you swear when we met up...
How much more moving do you have to do?

Pete Seeger makes it quite pleasant to listen to.
Not really. I don't think I was swearing any more than I usually do with injuries. And that is because I thought you disapproved and tried to tone it down. Like when I tripped on the escalator, I was about to go "****! Ow!" but I managed to stay quiet enough I don't know if you even noticed me falling over. My bed is in three parts though, all of which injured me today.
Well, I have to take all the books out of my bookshelves and then put them back in after I'm done, and I have to move a large chair, and my bed, and my drawers. Nothing else big though.

Pete Seeger is my inspiration. Without Pete Seeger, I would not be the man I am today.

Re: Cynical Avocado's Absolutely Admirable Accumulation of Random Bantering #165
Unexpected injuries when singing along are the worst kind, because I have to pause my singing and swear. A bruised elbow or stubbed toe are bad enough, but losing my place in the middle of an especially epic song is unacceptable.

Does your room have limited movement paths and is reasonably crowded?
If so, it may not be the best place to dance and sing in...

Yeah. I know you're not from the US if your school year ends in December..

Imagine singing while swimming and hurting yourself! It's difficult to swim while still singing, and when you do a flip turn and hurt yourself.... Welll... I have to take a few more breaths on the way back. So much more air escapes. :smallwink::smalltongue:
ION: TROLL!!!! TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!

How do you swim while singing? Doesn't it just end up as gurgling half the time?
Also, pool walls are painful. I still have a bruise on my arm from a game of Marco Polo I played two weeks ago. Some cheeky bastard decided to get out of the pool and keep shouting 'polo'. Flailing around blindly in a trench with stone walls is a terrible idea, why is it also a popular game?

I never said it was any good. :smallwink: But it does work, and helps pass the time during long sets.
Yes they are. During one race I made a mistake on a flip turn and my ankle hit the edge of the pool deck. I didn't kick much the rest of that race with that leg. :smallfrown:
And it is a very common practice 'round here (Or at least among my friends) for everyone to get out of the pool when someone is trying to tag someone. Luckily, I avoid it and it never lasts long. Most of the people that attempt that stop saying Polo, giving it away. :smallsigh:
I don't get why it's popular... Then again, when I get in a pool I usually don't know what to do. I'm too used to sets and races. :smalleek:
