In all honesty, despite my desire for Malack's victory, I think it would be nice for Oppyu to have some say in the incredibly rare occurrence of a tie. But this three match also looks to be quite exciting.

Wizard guy he made me realize the true meaning of NPCs
Wizard Guy, and Abstain.
Well, at least the foul vampire didn't actually defeat Roy.
Sabine.
Julia.
Sabine is one of my favorite characters. Sadly, it seems she will not beat Wizard Guy.
Julia I guess.
Wizard guy, not a hard call since Sabine has nothing I like.
Julia - I dislike both her and Horace, but she made me laugh at least.
Wizard Guy
Horace Greenhilt
First round, Sabine. I genuinely don't get the wizard guy's fandom, he had what, three gags? One of which was really Shojo's gag? But hey, who am I to say?
Losers cup I actually think is quite tough, since I found both characters entertaining! I'm going to go with Horace though, since I enjoyed seeing Eugene brought down a peg or two.
Wizard Guy Too awesome of a nameless random NPC to lose to the likes of Sabine.
Julia ... She goes both ways
Sabine and Horace.
Wizard Guy Apart from being the coolest NPC in the game, Wizard Guy trumps Sabine simply because I dislike her.
Horace because he does so well (in terms of funnies) with Roy and Eugene.
Nothing against Sabine, but Wizard Guy has a place in my heart for his actions both in life and in death. He will always have a place in my campaigns.
Also, Horace really rocked.
I'll go for
Wizard Guy
and
Horace.
Sabine, again. Non-human creatures who act non-human make me happy.
Julia Greenhilt. "Nale, honey, some families are just...different."
YES! I can't believe Malack ended up on par with the story's main protagonist :D
The LC would run long. And besides, what's the point of watching Person X win 4 rounds in the Loser's Cup just to be knocked off by Person Y who just got knocked out of the real deal? Anticlimax.
Oh and the voting thingy:
Wizard Guy is hilarious.
Horace, because he isn't Julia.
@V I would say the dark horse would be the unseeded one who just drew with Numero Uno.
FCT
Poor Sabine, she's facing the dark horse of the FCT! Still I'll vote for her, Wizard Guy IS awesome, but Sabine is "not Celia" and actually interesting, the main fact being that the LG-three-mains are my favourite antagonists. Now, if Wizard Guy wins this round, I'm pretty sure I'll vote for him just because reaching R4 would be too awesome to deny :smalltongue: Plus everyone remembers him while playing.
LC
Now this is less exciting. I find Horace bland, just as Bling Cat said, so Julia takes my vote on the basis of being a bit more interesting.
Horace. I'll have to think about the other one for a bit ... but the only thing I like about Julia is the positive family-based side of Roy that she brings out, and Horace has that going for him too. Closed-minded but good-hearted jock beats out shallow self-centered teenager.
Also, sad day. :sigh: Roy (a superior character IMO) ties Malack on ... unfortunate technicalities, and partly because of fallacious arguments that he's more chauvinistic than Belkar.
Um, yeah. That's how double-elimination works.
Sabine, though this might have something to do with the absolutely brilliant panel in today's strip. Made me laugh harder than the rest of the strip.
Horace is eighty times more likeable than his granddaughter, though Julia did have a part in one of my favorite Durkon moments.
Sabine
Julia Greenhilt.
Wow, first bunch of votes, and the Wizard Guy is actually up by a few! Guess the joke character is more popular than we thought.
Wizard Guy despite my general dislike for voting for nameless NPCs.
Abstaining as usual in the LC.
Wizard Guy
Horace Greenhilt

If we had started the LC right away, and did their matches more frequently, it wouldn't be an issue. But you are right, this isn't double elimination.
Wizard guy: I don't understand why people like him so much, he's just a nameless NPC. But I don't like Sabine.
Horace
Also, why shouldn't oppyu break the tie? It is the perfectly reasonable thing to do...
Wizard Guy
---
Horace
Sabine. I was never much interested in her until this strip. How much does Sabine know? How will Nale get betrayed? What does love mean to an evil incarnation of illicit sex? I'm guessing the answer to the last question is "pretty much what it means to other people," but anyway, I'm curious about all this stuff, which means I'm eager to see her pop up again, which means she gets my vote.
This despite the fact that I like Wizard Guy and would find it amusing if he bumped off another seed.
LC
Julia Greenhilt. I love how she dishes snark back at Roy, and I find their sibling relationship completely believable. Too, the scene where she got scolded by Durkon was adorable.
Horace is forgettable.
Agreed, though I'm not sure why oppyu is excluded from the voting in the first place. :smallconfused:
This!
Wizard Guy vs. Sabine
Wizard Guy is Comedy Gold, but not a character. Sabine is not my favourite character, but she has given us some laughs, some gross-outs and some touching moments too. An easy one.
Horace Greenhilt (Roy's Grandfather) vs. Julia Greenhilt (Roy's Sister)
A tough one; both are solid supporting characters. Horace is more likeable, but Julia is more interesting. Her spats with Roy are both funny and touching.
