Odor: I thought it was good, but the grammar kind of distracted me from the story. Not wishing to be a nazi or anything, but still.
My grammar sucks. I know. Anything in particular.

I think one of the things you could do to improve is rather than have V telling us what happened, show what's going on. Get inside the character's head and write it as though they were narrating it to themselves as it happened.
For instance, instead of saying "There was a mirror on the wall next to my bed, and I caught myself sneaking peeks at Miss Starshine as she undressed."
Go with something like:
"I sat down cross legged on my bed, rearranging my robe into a more comfortable position. As reached for a book, a movement in the mirror caught my eye, and I looked up, then looked down hurredly when I saw that it was Miss Starshine removing her leather armour. An unwelcome heat spread across my face, and I realised I was blushing. Why was I blushing? I raised my head again, but to my horror found my eyes drawn to the mirror once again, as if on their own accord."
The style you have sounds more like what someone would write in their diary. Which I suppose could work, but is kind of limiting.

Thanks. I'll try and keep that in mind for later installments.

Re: Crack Pairings Matchup Table
Finally got my dice back!
I did some rolls, but most of the pairings were either boring (Nale x Durkon? I'm sure that's been done...) or I just couldn't do that. (Rolled two 19s on table 3, and ended up with about 7 people who I couldn't remember. :smalleek:)
However, 3 did stand out...
The Guy with the Halberd x The Hydra
The Guy with the Halber x All the Demon Roaches
Roy's Archon x All the Demon Roaches
Am I allowed to address multiple pairings in one story?

If you can manage that, you will likely be ushered to wherever this thread's Crack Gods hang out. That one kinda got away from me.
