Oh well. Guess it just leaves Ilpholin to pursue Rot without competition. :smalltongue:
Actually, she still have Libra to compete with. <.<
how do Rot and Libra know each other, anyways?
She's his dead wife or something, isn't she? :smallconfused:
I have 48 hours left in the US, and lots of stuff to do with family, so I'm taking some time off ffrp. Godmod my characters as needed if they're in the way. I'll just pop over to Watch and have Darcy faint, and I think that should take care of everyone who is in the middle of interactions.
*poks TE to GloG sol got an answer at the entrace.*
See, now I'm half expecting Ilpholin to get Wenomir "tragically" killed in combat with demons so she can get him out of the way... :smalltongue:
Now would Ilpholin do something like that? http://i431.photobucket.com/albums/q.../happy0191.gif
I just realized something. How many elves and dwarves (excluding Mountainside, obviously) are here in the Nexus? I don't think there's very many
Do you include drow in that question?
I have one elf and two drow myself.
Also, in other news. I've got a job. =O For the parks division of my home town. So obviously I won't be on as much then. So just so everyone knows, I work from 7 AM to 4 PM every weekday. It's 4:39 now. *shakes fist at time zones*
I play more elves than humans or anything else. Lots of elves in the Nexus.
I don't have any dwarfs, but I do have four elves and a half elf. I also have five gnomes, including one undead one and one that's just dead; there seem to be more elves or dwarfs than gnomes in the Nexus; I can't recall seeing another gnome apart from Tzimfemme's gnomie.
I also have two 'elf-like beings' that might not count; one's a half-elf and the other is a drider.
Huh. I guess I just never notice them. odd.
I think there are more Elves and Dwarves than there are Smurfs.
I find it odd that I don't have any Elves. Not even a single drow character. :smallconfused:
I'm not usually a fan of human characters. Mostly because I find other races more interesting. When I do have humans they are either undead (including a ghost and so many vampires), from a universe with no other races, (Like two from pokemon universes and one from regular Earth), or the odd case where a human just felt right but had other interesting attributes (A witch in this case).
I have a half-drow I keep meaning to play...
And a half-elf (Crissy).
I intend to make a Deep dwarf eventually, but that is a ways into the future.
I had an interesting discussion with Morty recently about how the fantasy races were really just hats, and it's true. The only reason I don't always play humans is because I like to draw things with non-human traits - and even most of my racial characters bend the racial stereotypes about them at least a little, or ignore them completely.
I play mostly humans, largely because elves, dwarves and orcs have always struck me as "Exactly like humans, except for a few quirks."
In a star wars RP I once played an Ithorian mechanic. A panicky, pessimistic Ithorian mechanic.
Go read up on Ithorians.
Yep.
Once one-shot a droideka as it was rolling down a corridor. Got it with a fusion cutter to the power generator. Good times.
Personally, I try to play my non-human characters - which means goblins, since all my other characters are humans or half-humans - as distinctly different from humans in terms of mentality. Not sure how it works out, but if they're going to be a hat - which is unavoidable - let them be at least an interesting one.
When I do play non-humans, I tend to play races from webcomics or books, ones who really are quite different from humans and have a vastly different culture. Hence my Troll characters.
And Nimrod the Jäger literally is just a human with fangs and a hat. >.>
Also, I'm not going to be around for a little while in a little over an hour. As in, I'm going to be deadtimed across the board from then until tomorrow.
