Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I've cleared 200 mil damage, which I honestly thought I would not when this event started. I guess my teams and strategies have matured since Rashomon. Scathach dealing at least a million damage per NP cast and stunning the boss definitely helps out a lot. I have also found that if you can find a highly leveled Jeanne Alter with Golden Sumo equipped on your friend's list, she makes a fantastic damage dealer for the boss. In optimal circumstances I got near 3 mil damage off of Jalter's NP.

I've seen videos of people one-shoting Ushi with Jalter and/or Scathach. Buff stacking is good civilization.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
This event is a bit easier, it includes the card type boost which will multiply with the base damage bonuses, and there is an ever increasing free damage bonus depending on the dificdiffi of the raid. For ushi on 6 mil I have been getting a free 200%, I think it was 120% on the last boss, it activates in the last round when you start the battle with her.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I starting bringing a support Waver to better charge NPs and now I can much more reliably take down the 3 million boss, so huzzah for that.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I've been playing around with all sorts of team comps now for this 4th raid boss just to keep things interesting, arts stall, Scathach nuke, Jack. but then i realized when a jack comp turned pear shaped, why do i need a team comp? Just have some random servants to hold some hot spring cards, and Nero can solo the the 6 mil without very much risk of dying. Gotta keep remembering the good old unkillable saber who was my first 4+ star (who wasn't Antoinette.)
Nero is best waifu, but there is also Tamamo... and I don't know who to grail! I'm kinda tempted to grail 4 star Nero to lv 100 even if i do get Tamamo lancer and Nero bride.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
So I've been spending the event tickets on the event banner...and I got two Ath nGabla CEs. These are pretty much useless right? Why would I ever want to take even more damage?

That's about what I thought. Though at this point really, 3-star CEs are worth more as a mana prism than anything else for the most part.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Hurray, got all 200 million damages! Now all I have left to do is make sure I farm enough stuff to NP5 Kintoki, and I'll be golden!
I will continue using BP to get resources from Raikou, of course. No sense in wasting valuable resources.
I have so many BP-replenishing items though... I can't let those go to waste either...

I'm pretty sure we have to defeat Raikou to get to keep Kintoki, so you should use those now if you have the time.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I wish they had the rerun damage rewards where you get QP for going over 200 mil.
Going to spend my dumplings on Raikou, I really need those red babies.

Yeah, but as a friend theorized, I doubt they're going to keep us from keeping him. I recall the blue Oni's HP going down suspiciously quickly when there were a couple of hours left.
Still, no reason to try my luck on that. I'll keep contributing to make sure.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Isn't there more stuff after we beat Raikou? It definitely looks like she's going down if everybody just runs all their regularly generated BP. I've done another 40 million without spending any of the refresh items.

I think the bosses all show up in 'defeated' mode like banana oni did, and there might be a couple more nodes on the map?
It also looks like we're going right into Camelot very soon after this event ends. No rest for the weary, though I guess you can do a story Singularity at a more relaxed pace.

actually we have to repeat the first three raid bosses for a chance at three more summon tickets.

After Raikou, they ought to be a walk in the park.
... Unless we get a new game + version where each of them is buffed impossibly high.

You can sell excess Dumplings as well as excess Beans once the event is finished, getting QP for every one you turn in. Personally, I've had my fill of Raid gameplay and need to spend less time with the game, so I'm content just keeping my AP at 0 and letting my BP float. The time needed to do the raid is not worth the small handful of materials you get in return, at least in my book.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Well the raids are clear, now I need another ~400 boxes for the last Kintoki for NP5. And I'm really tired of Raikou. Especially since I didn't get my hug.

I pulled big mama!

Such a disappointing ending. All those efforts, all those sacrifices, all those 6 million HP fights...
And no hugs to be rewarded with.
Thanks a lot, Fate GO team. Way to let your fans down.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I'm fine without the hug honestly. Raikou's "Mama" thing weirds me out.

Bonny and Read could use it, right? No idea if there's any other servants with similar abilities.

Yeah, I thought the same about Ibaraki's raid, too. No complaints here though! NP5 Lider Kintoki, woo! Now to level him up until I can actually use him :smallsigh:

Nice!
Don't know how much I can bother farming event items. At least using a Friend Jalter I can hit 6M now, which helps. Oh, that reminds me. 6M boss dropped a Hot Springs CE... on my second last fight before the raid finished. How helpful.
But Camelot is coming! And there was much rejoicing!

I'm really looking forward to Bedivere - single-target saber NP has been a hole in my line-up for months due to my not liking Caesar and not getting a gold servant to fill that role. Also the story is going to be great, but unfortunately I've run into a lot of spoilers for it. Also, 45 SQ from story and free quests. Can't forget that.

I feel like I'm going to be the only person not pulling on the beach...

I'm oddly looking forward to Hassan of Serenity, if only to expand my collection of Hassans.
Still annoyed that Raikou is the 'best' way to get more boxes. Well nevermind that, Hot Springs 2 is much more efficient, and easier to finish.

I'mma be honest, I'm not particularly hyped to whale on the Camelot banners. The Knights don't particularly call to me, nor do the other Servants. Serenity is adorable, but she's not my Hassan of choice (that honor goes to Gramps). Origin Bullet is admittedly a great CE, but I won't whale for a CE.
Similarly, having looked at the Summer banner... Also not overwhelmed. Tamamo!Lancer is both adorable and powerful (that third skill, and that Polygamist Castration Fist), but aside from that... The power of cute does not compel me.
I do want to whale on Prisma Causeway. (Illya is both adorable and obscenely powerful - she has an NP-autocharge passive, people.) Also, possibly the class-specific banner. Also, possibly Nero Redux. (Bride Nero returns!) Or possibly the 7M Download campaign. (Jalter returns!) Or possibly the Christmas campaign, although that's a ways away. (Ishtar!)
Those of you who do want to whale on Camelot, though, keep in mind that late this year, there will also be a Round Table Knights Summoning campaign, featuring five different Sabers (the class, not the character; only two of them are Arturia), an Archer, two Lancers, and a Berserker. So that's a thing.

I'm planning a single pull on Camelot, the real gem for me would be Nitocris, since all my 4* casters are welfare Servants. Caster!Beth is pretty great, but it's just, you know.
I'll have to split whatever I have left between Summer and Prisma Causeway. And once I get enough boxes to NP5 Kintoki, I wish I could go get more SQ by finishing up free quests I've yet to take care of, but those ascension mats won't buy themselves either.

Well, actually, let's discuss Nitocris, because I'm bored and Servant comparisons give me something to do so why not.
Both Nitocris and Caster!Liz are 4-star Casters with a QAAAB deck. Nitocris has a higher base ATK (1510 vs. Liz' 1436), but Liz has a slightly higher base HP (1824 vs. 1806). Their star absorption and star gen are comparable, as are their NP charge-on-defense. Liz has a higher NP charge-on-attack (1.6% vs. 0.54%), but that's due to her attacks having a lower hit count (2Q/1A/1B/4EX vs. 4/3/3/5).
In terms of passive abilities, Nitocris is the winner. Bathory has Territory Creation B (+8% Arts) and Item Construction A (+10% debuff); Nitocris has Territory Creation A (+10% Arts) and Item Construction B+ (+9% debuff), as well as Divinity B (+175 damage).
In terms of active abilities, Liz has a heal with auto-stargen, a Red Button with AoE Burn, and a Guts button with stars. Nitocris has a heal with +insta-kill, an NP charge with guaranteed fill by level 8, and a Guts button with debuff removal. These actives synergize with their respective NPs - Liz gets an AoE DEF-ignoring Buster that can Curse, while Nitocris has an AoE Arts with chance to insta-kill (and DEF debuff after Interlude).
The goal of each kit is pretty obvious. Bathory is a niche Buster caster, with a Red Button to boost NP damage and multiple sources of DoT (Burn, Curse). Nitocris is a more traditional Arts caster, great in an Arts team and capable of spamming her NP, with a +insta-kill button to boost the power of her NP, which is more focused on the insta-kill than the damage. Basically a Caster version of Saber!SHIKI.
Fact is, Nitocris is a pretty great Caster. Useful for farming, good in an Arts team. And her insta-killing ability, while not effective against Servant enemies, is pretty functional, and niche. That said, the more general niche of Arts Caster can be filled by many Servants, and in terms of her support ability - the primary function of the Arts Caster niche - she's easily overshadowed by Servants like Waver and that damn wizard. By contrast, although Bathory is similarly not a support Caster, she is very niche - among high-rarity Servants, Buster Casters are pretty rare (only Liz and Xuanzang come to mind), and Bathory is very functional in that role.
That said, I can't fault you for chasing Nitocris. That insta-kill NP makes her highly effective for sweeping. Plus she is adorable.
