I thought her features/voice were the same. But if that's not the case, then no. Just ignore some of the contents of my prior post, I suppose.
This is your first post on the Walls. The one with the description lacks a location tag so it was very hard to find. I finally located it by going page by page and doing Ctrl-F for your username. But that post doesn't actually give a description of the Bloodthieves at all.
:smalleek: That...did not work. :smalleek:
You might wanna fix that link, Noodle.
You need to upload it somewhere. We can't see what's on your C drive without illegal hacking being involved. :smalltongue:
Oh...I've never done this before, sorry. Where do I upload it to? (Pardon my cluelessness.) :smalltongue:
Singingnoodle, you can't just link an image from your computer. You have to put it on the net first. Like with photobucket or something.
Edit: Supah Ninja'd
I...know this now. Hehe...whoops...off to the strange new land of photobucket!
A file sharing website like photobucket or imageshack would do the trick. Then you link from there, with the imagelink tool.
So this: http://i.imgur.com/JvEOH.jpg
Turns into this:
Of course, you have to sign up for most such websites first.
Well...that was fast...>.> <.< Yes...I know it looks funny. Oh well...you know, the more you stare at it the funnier and more pathetic looking it is. Haha. :smalleek::smalltongue:
Are you using MS Paint?
If so, I suggest switching to Inkscape to start with. It can give you such clean looking avatars, ones that looks exactly as if they were from the comic. I myself have only been able to get one nice looking avatar from MS Paint, and that took hours upon hours of careful work.
I was using inkscape :smallsigh:...
Careful guys, no one show Mindfreak any of Crimmy's or Kurien's work. Or mine, for that matter, though I don't use MS Paint (but I certainly don't use Inkscape either.)
The program doesn't make a quality avatar, the avatarist does.
Inkscape makes it easier to get results quickly, once you wrap your head around how it works (though I never could, for some reason...), but from my perspective it tends to breed an over-reliance on templates which I find distasteful.
Singingnoodle, since you are using Inkscape, have you tried Trazoi's guide? I've heard it helps.
Well...I was just trying to help. Sorry if I offended you Noodle.
And Kris, Crimmy's work is amazing, though I have no idea how he gets such awesome results from MS Paint.
And Trazoi's guide helps quite a bit. Helped me when I still was making avatars.
I'm not offended. I know it's bad. :smallredface::smalltongue:
Ooh! A guide. Thank yiu!
The same way anyone else does. Mediocrity, followed by improvement. The reason that you don't see more Paintatars like Crimmy's around isn't because Paint is some voodoo difficult program that requires regular demonic sacrifices and the blood of virgins to learn. It's because whenever the forum spots a fledgling Paintatarist it immediately bombards them with a barrage of 'switch to Inkscape' or 'Inkscape is so much better' or 'Inkscape will get you better results', and so no one has the opportunity to improve to that point. :smallannoyed:
Hmm....Well, this one took about ten minutes...whee. This one is much better. It's Pyrus.
*Pokes C'nor to Outside*
Post it in this thread. The people over there will have more constructive criticism for you. The only thing I can say is that your strokes need to be slightly wider, though how you do that, I have no clue.
Oh! Okie, sorry! Didn't know it existed!
I sent a PM to that barbarian fellow who was wandering around Inside earlier today.
Though he has yet to reply.
I suspect you don't want your mostly inept guy with a sword stabbed too much TE?
Eh, I wouldn't worry too much bout Dwayne. He might get torn up a bit, but he's well capable of getting out of this situation alive.
And for the record? I sorta have a necromancer character entirely based on providing a plausible explanation for how, yes, negative energy is/could be a thing.:smalltongue:
Here's a description of Bloodthieves, at least these:
As for their abilities, these are somewhat faster and a bit stronger than a normal human, with better reflexes, due to what they were made from, but the capabilities of an individual Bloodthief vary depending on what it was made from; the main common feature shared between all types is that they have hollow bone claws of varying sizes on their fingers, which if they stab someone with them, are capable of draining their blood, and that if they drain someone's blood while also using their claws to deliver a mutagenic substance, they can turn others into Bloodthieves.
Ivaz will just be bringing June, Talia, and Jurassico into an alley a short distance away. She figures this way, they can leave without anybody seeing where they went.
