I admit that I haven't, seeing as I normally spend my days north of 43 degrees latitude (and a couple of times right by the equator - but most of that was in the Kenyan highlands, so not so hot).

Minor gripe about that one popular "what D&D character am I" test: who the heck multiclasses wizard and cleric?

Anyone going for Mystic Theurge.

There are some people who multiclass Wizard and cleric. Both are very powerful classes.

Yeah, but they don't synergize. You never get 9ths!

Unless if they're gestalts. Two classes in one.

Same one I took. LG is probably accurate for me - especially once you add in more law questions that don't focus on family. That's often been my complaint about law based questions; really "family vs moral code" is a classic dilemma for the lawful types.
(Wisdom is also annoying for me; I have a good people sense, decent willpower, and a fair sense of what's a good idea, but my physical observational skills are almost nonexistent.)

They are, but their power generally relies on being able to scale damage and DCs. Multiclassing wizard and cleric results in a large number of weaker spells, and it ends up with a lot of problems with higher level monsters because save DCs rely on spell and caster level. Plus you don't get higher level effects that would be more useful against monsters that can counter a lot of no-save stuff.

I've never gotten 9ths anyway. If I'm not getting capstone powers to begin with, I might as well be able to unload a crapload of spells.

Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
Yeah, Wizard/Cleric is an extremely powerful combo at lower levels. Sure, it sucks hard at higher levels, but you can say the same about pretty much any multiclass combo that involves a spellcasting class.

for one thing, you can partially open the side visors to allow fresh air in, even a 1/4 inch.
I know about summers in Biloxi Mississippi as I have been stationed twice at Keesler AFB and in between for three years in the Mojave desert at George AFB.

I can indeed, and usually do that even with working AC. No sense roasting myself while the cooling kicks in. I don't understand garage people who use their space as storage instead of a place to put their car.
Anyway, got the car back after they had it for several days. Apparently, my car doesn't have a belt on the compressor, so they couldn't test it reliably, and it kept intermittently working and not working and they couldn't quite figure out why. Recommended I take it back to the dealer because they'd know how to deal with it. They said all that, but I get the car back and have yet to have an issue with it; it's working fine, and I'm comfortable. They didn't even charge me for the recharge and diagnostic testing, which I both love and feel kind of bad about, since so far they effectively fixed it. May not cool when the car is idling, but I don't sit around in it that much anyway, so I don't anticipate that causing any problems. I like those guys, gonna go with them if I have any future problems.
Also, my FIL was at Keesler AFB for a while! Wife still has a Keesler bank account we use as an emergency backup fund.

That sounds hilarous
What are their breeds and ages?

The one that's scared of (only) the neighbor's lawnmower is ~15. The one who likes chasing the neighbor's lawnmower but is scared of everything else is younger, but we don't know by how much. Both are mixed-breeds of unknown lineage, but roughly the same size and build as a Labrador would be.

Wow, your car is fixed by a test. It sounds like a very slow leak.
So, I was at Keesler twice, at first it was Avionics Communications specialist, then a few years later I was cross training into Wide-band communications specialist. I was there from 81/82 and 85/86.

Well, I was wrong and they were right. It's intermittent. Seems like it works when the car's been cool for a while. So in the morning, when I pull it out of the garage, it works great. On the way home from work, not so much.
Also, I've been informed that FIL was never stationed at Keesler AFB; he just uses the Keesler credit union because he can, and it's convenient. My bad.

Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
I vaguely remember reading a thing once about adventurers seeing a bunch of marble statues, preparing to fight a medusa, and getting caught completely off guard by the ACTUAL monsters because nobody suspects gargoyles in a well-lit garden. Any idea who wrote that? I'm guessing Dice, but I'm not sure.

so, something is over heating . . . . .
Sorry. I was taught some intense troubleshooting techniques and it is hard to turn it off.

Look, if you wanna try and figure out how to fix my AC, you go right ahead. I'm either no worse off, it you figure out how to fix my AC. I'm not seeing a downside.

Ok, two places something could over heat : under the hood and in the passenger compartment. Now, it works untill it has set in the sun, so engine heat is not a cause leaving the dashboard. depending on how ner the car is, there could be anything from
a semiconducting component going out
-very possible and hard to find
to
a cold solder joint.
My most likely candidate as now days non lead solder is used and is harder to work with due to a longer plastic state and higher melting point.
either way, it means a possibly expensive board replacement.

So I take it back. It doesn't work in the mornings, it's just the air in the garage is much cooler than the air outside, so it just feels like cooler sit blowing on me. Nowhere near the icy air it should feel like. So at a guess I'd think that would knock overheating out.
