Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
If you want to run arts stall or arts spam your options are basically Waver, Jeanne, D'eon, Medea lily, and grail lady for stalling/support. and for NP spamming your options are Medea, Euryale, Shiki, EMIYA, and maybe EMIYA (assassin). you can also use Nursery rhyme, but i would probably only use nursery rhyme in a more offensive setup with a crit generator, maybe something like Shiki with a crit star up CE, Waver with a fragments of 2030 if you have one or other stars per turn CE, and nursery rhyme with some form of arts up CE especially another ending if you have it.
otherwise you arts stall with a team made up of at least 3 of waver, jeanne, d'eon, Medea lily, grail lady, and mash possibly with a tamamo no mae support if you can get one. You arts spam by using waver and/or a tamamo no mae support with one of your offensive spammers, preferably a single target one, or grab a solid single target arts servant support with waver and one other arts servant you have depending on weather you need a different class for damage or feel you need more supportive or defensive servants to fill in that third slot in your front line.
I do not have advice for other teams as i have basically no experience with non arts teams besides throwing waver next to two other servants that have advantage.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Just a note on Nursery Rhyme, while she does amazingly on Crit oriented Arts teams (or just crit teams in general as the AoE NP helps) she is also good at the stall as her defense up is amazing and Meanwhile heals as well as charges her NP.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
she doesn't bring anything substantial to a stall team though, she has no stun/charm, no NP drain, no party defense buff, no attack down, her skills are limited to self survival, self NP and self damage and her NP does a defense down. she can work well on a crit team and can simultaneously act as a second defense down but she really can't stall.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
...Serenity is adorable. I'm tempted to spend SQ for her, since I know from experience 3stars can take a very long time to arrive via FPs.

Five Stars:
Altera

Waver
Jeanne of Arc
Four Stars:
All the Welfares max ascended and most max leveled.
Artoria Lily
Rama
Siegfried
d'leon
Artoria Alter
EMIYA
Astolfo
Anne and Mary
Marie Antoinette
Nursery Rhyme
Medea Lily
Medea (Grailed to 80)
EMIYA (Assassin)
Carmilla
Stheno
Mata Hari (Grailed to 80)
Ibaraki Douji
Heracles
I'm also pretty sure I have every 3 star except for Hassan of Serenity and Gille de Rais (Caster). Obviously got every two star and lower aside from Angra Mainyuu.
Oh My Hells. Let me take a moment to be insanely jealous of what you have there.
Moment has passed. Still hate you, though.
Okay, first things first, what's your Master Level? That will cover your Cost, which lets us know how many awesome Servants you can field before you have to start throwing out your B-Team. (On that note, kudos for grailing Mata Hari and Medea, smart way to offset cost.)
Alright. Let's start with your 5-stars. Arturia is a disappointment; you're probably better off fielding a 4-star Saber (Rama is solid for all-purpose use, Siegfried is useful in this Singularity because reasons) and saving the Cost difference. Likewise, Altera is bad civilization; great if you build a team around making her destroy things, but entirely selfish in her kit and not great outside of wrecking Lancers.
Jeanne used to be the Heart of the Stall. With her and Waver, you could very much build a stall team if you want. Keep in mind, however, that your DPS needs to come from somewhere, or your stall team simply sits there circling the drain. To that end, I say, Heracles.
A team of Mash, Heracles, and Waver is incredibly destructive. Mash can taunt, Waver can charge NP, and a fully maxed Heracles can simply destroy. He wrecks everything. It's glorious. Frankly, placing them in the front end of your team almost obviates the need to put anyone else in - just slap in some people in the rear. (Heck, it's what I do.)
I noticed that you also have d'Eon. That's significant. Between Mash and d'Eon, you can keep a lot of heat off of Heracles. As with all Berserkers, Heracles' only weakness is that everything murders him - d'Eon is a huge help in that regard. Bonus, Arts NP means you can charge Heracles' gauge with a good Arts chain.
For your last slot (not necessarily in order), I'd suggest either Hans, David, or Jeanne. If you can't guess why, you're not paying attention - healing. David is the most offensively-oriented, with his Buster NP, but Harp of Healing is a decent party heal with a party Evade, which is a great benefit when an NP is incoming. Hans is the staple heal-caster, of course, and Jeanne - if you can handle the party Cost - has a party heal and invincibility on her NP. Iris is also an option, because obviously.
My point is this: You can build an impressive team around keeping Heracles alive. You have all the tools you need for it. And frankly, you can modify it for just about any offense, as well - switch out Heracles for Scathach or Gilgamesh, for example.

It probably won't help much but if we went by the servants I pulled since I got a hold of this account (a friend who didn't really play the game or cared about Fate gave it to me) gets much less impressive. It would be Scathach, Waver, Altera, Nursery Rhyme, Carmilla, Rama, Marie Antionette, the EMIYAs, Ibaraki, and the Yuri pirates. And that'd be about it. (Also Mata Hari was grailed for waifu reasons and because she deserves it, Medea because she's awesome and I wanted to put some more juice behind her!)
But yeah, I got the units to do a fair number of different strategies that I can MAKE good that I can afford to do theme teams or less effecient ones which..is what I like to do. I like to make a single team and try to conquer a Singularity with it with as little fore-warning of what's to come as possible. Last Singularity is was Scathach's Revenge, before that was the Asterios & Euryale Ship Celebration, and France was the Siegfried Power Hour.
As for my cost...I have 110 to spend.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
you could try running something apocrypha themed. I bad at that cause i just want to use my waifus. It just happens that Nero and Tamamo no Mae work together pretty well. and that Nero herself is able to solo carry pretty much most of the singularities before America. there are just some time with some archer stuff she can't solo and she's not great at killing demon pillars.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Maaaaan that last Ozymandias fight is a pain. The three waves, his friggin escorting casters blowing up Shiki, and that auto-NP on the final wave... Ugh. The Knights of the Round were so much easier. I have to wonder what they're going to throw at us for the final battle of the singularity, considering how ridiculous this fight is. If my next strat doesn't pan out I'm just going to wait until I have three command seals later tonight and win that way.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
serenity is so cute. if only you could stack poison, but that won't happen until near the beginning of arc 2 probably.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Oof, I got walled pretty hard at the Arash/Hassan fight. Just took too much damage from the first wave of chimeras, I'll have to come back to it later since I already spent my seals on Gawain 2. Also, Lucius said he was severing Gawain's gift but the second fight was much harder. Lying liar who lies.

the second fight is much easier that actually fighting the entire first one would have been. in the first fight he only takes 20% of the damage you dish out. in the second fight he takes 50% of the damage you dish out.

Yeah, but in the second fight he actually uses his Noble Phantasm, I probably could have wiped him out even with the defense buff the first time.

he was holding back cause there wasn't a worthy enough opponent until Lucius showed up.

Still makes the fight a pain. But it's done now, and I got past Hassan and Arash at least. I really need to do some grinding for ascension mats though. Am I right that Lancer statues drop mostly from the Lancer daily missions when they roll around? I have a shortage of the basic ones.

Here you go. Incidentally the Lancer daily is tomorrow if you didn't know.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Finished Camelot. This is the first singularity where I want to immediately go back and replay the whole thing. Everyone is amazing in this chapter while staying true to their character. Arash and Sanzang was badass. CA Hassan getting a great backstory. Even the Round Table knights were somewhat sympathetic near the end. Bedivere and Artoria were fantastic at the end.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I'm a bit over half way. I'm getting my free quest quartz as I go and haven't spent any apples.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I beat the first chapter, and decided that I need to take my servants to boot camp. Going to grind some embers and gems, I've been carried by supports for a while now and need to buff up.

I just got to where CA is and I'm having a great time with the singularity right now.

Always a decent idea! Level up your skills, level up your servants, and watch the success come!

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Just did the 10 pull to end all 10 pulls.
1. Lancer Cu - I made my peace this was my guaranteed servant for the pull. Hadn't got him yet, so, I can live with this.
2. Touta - bonus servant, he seems alright from the storyline, don't need another AOE archer, but extra servants are always nice.
3. Saberlot! ST Saber! And he's Lancelot! And he's Arts! OMG <3 Husbando~
...
4. Nitocris! <3<3<3<3<3
Also there were some CEs, I guess?
<3 Nitocris <3
Waifus for the waifu throne!
So there goes all my luck, forever. NO RAGRETS!
Also, how good is this singularity, amirite?

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I look forward to the end of this chapter, the sand is lag hell. it wasn't too bad earlier but in ozzy's desert it is soo laggy.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Gonna be a while more for me with finishing this chapter, Mordred is walling me worse than anyone else has so far.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
I went and completely forgot that I wanted to save my shop embers for Mash when she got ascended and instead gave everything to Rider Kintoki.
I feel dumb.
-
Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Oh right, monthly tickets are a thing. Let's throw them at the Camelot Banner.
1- Storch Ritter. Meh. Sold.
2- NITOCRIS! WOOOOOO~! An offensive non-welfare caster at last!
3- Robin Hood again.
4- Elixir of Love. Sold.
5- Storch Ritter again. I hate this CE.
Still, dat Nitocris tho. Super thrilled to get her.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?

Welcome to Chain hell. Bronze materials are ridiculous, I'm hurting for Bones and Dust.

Welcome to the world of 5 star servants. most of them are a complete and utter pain to improve. Though if you plan to get any level 10 skills you should check out the qp costs for that.

Re: Fate/Grand Order - Are you my Master?
Okay. I've cleared Camelot.
For those who haven't, a few pointers on some of the last bosses. I'll try to keep them as spoiler-free as possible.
Spoiler: Tips
Show
Against the Demon Pillar, bring Shiki. You could bring Jack, and use Information Erasure to debuff, but trust me, you'll be glad you brought Shiki. Apparently, the Demon Pillar is susceptible to Instant-KO - not highly susceptible, because it never took for me, but susceptible. Even if he isn't, her NP deals solid damage and charges quickly.
Against the Pharaohs, bring Rider Kintoki and Shiki, in that order. Specifically, keep Shiki - or any other Assassin you like - in your back row, and frontload Rider damage. Definitely take care of Nitocris first, because her NP has a chance to Instant-KO the entire party - that's what the Rider is for. After, just unload damage on the main attraction.
Against Gawain, use a Command Seal. That's basically the only advice. You need tons of consistent damage to finally take him down, even some of the strongest Archers can't survive two hits from his NP, you'll probably lose everyone. Command Seals.
Against the Final Boss, no doubt you've heard that Siegfried is effective. Know who else is? Literally any other Saber. Siegfried had one job for me - one job - and he can't even do that right. His NP sucks. Do you have access to a Saber Alter? Okita? Nero? Attila? Bring your favorite.
My Mash is now mighty. I am happy with this result. Now I just have to level a bunch of Servants and also farm mats for Saberlot.

I have 10/10/10 JAlter and Tamamo so I'm somewhat aware of the hell, but the need for chains is just even more painful.

some 5 stars are nice and only ask for silver and gold mats. I am happy to give even silver servants my demon hearts and especially the dragon reverse scales... these events have been throwing them around like candy.
