Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
If using d20 crunch makes it easier for you to imagine your characters, go for it, by all means. You should simply bear in mind not everyone here knows it.

I'm not sure either. Being able to swap weapons might be advantageous in a larger battle, where you face different enemies under different conditions, but how does it help you in a one on one sparring match? :smallconfused:

Cathy was trying to get in practice with as many different weapons as possible.
...also, a cookie goes to the first one to guess who her abilities are based upon.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
My characters are totally incapable of having crunch because I don't use dem D's and D's or whatnot.
I use...

Comfortable Oblivion Fries.
So yeah.
All crunch is Greek to me. not even Greek, 'cause I'm taking Greek as a class.
All crunch is hieroglyphics to me. It's like trying to read a brick.
Made of baking soda.

Seems like it'd be more effective to practice one weapon at a time.
Imma go waaaaay out on a limb here and guess it's based on someone from anime. :smallwink:

Yes. Her personality is a lot less... self-destructive, though.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Oh no! The Alex trend is starting up again! :smalleek: And we also have different evil women named Anya and Anyu.
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Who says Alex is a woman?
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Back about a year or so ago, we had a wave of characters, male and female, with names of the Alex variation.
- Alek the insane evil psychic
- Alexander the sweet gardener
- Alexi the sweet/evil teenage girl
- Alexi the essence vampire, who split into Alexi the male heartbreaker, Layla Alexi the mob wife, and Marle Alexi who married BR
- Alexander the cyborg
It finally died down, but now we have three new characters in the space of a week with Alex names. >.<
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
I think Prince Selm also had two Town characters named Alex.
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Don't fret, Alexander Pyborne will change his name to "Scar" Pyborne before long.
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
This is why I go with uncommon names for my characters.
I mean, if anyone uses the names Rot, Zanny, Eig'Quzi, THAT CAT, SE23, or Ermine, imma just have to whack them on the head.
Also, that one drow guy I have. Menack or something. >.> :smalltongue:

Think it might have been something with the acid it used to do it. :smalltongue:
But I'm not entirely sure who started it. Just know that it was around then.

Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
KR-15, or Kal for SAINTS?
Hmmm....
-
Re: Nexus OoC IV: We're All Mad Here
Kal. He's more fun, and you're better at keeping him active.

I'm not sure Angela has actually built any temples.
Probably because every bedroom can become one.

You forgot Alexis #1, the paladin who thought it possible to redeem Draken...

Nah, if Kal gets a contract against Dani, she's so dead.
Even if Kal has no idea who she is. :smalltongue:
