Horst puts the brakes as he hears Ralix's comment, replying.
"Any idea where would be a good place for a pitstop then?" He remarks somewhat impatiently.
The Group:
"There's just the main gate, I think- they have a huge wall around the property" Ellen answers. "Whether or not there's a way trough the sewers- I wouldn't know."
"As for a safe place... I wouldn't know where to take you: there's almost everywhere... there's always the doctor Blooms, or the schoolhouse... but that's all the way in southern residential, at the other side of town..."
Horst checks the fuel gauge.
Horst:
This van seems to run on sheer willpower- the tank is almost full!
"Well whatever we decide to go, the van should last , almost full up gas still.
Ravion sighs, "Fine, Ralix I guess you're right, and we shouldn't take these civilians with us anyway.." he winces at Horst's sudden acceleration, "And I suppose a doctor would not go astray.. However the longer we leave them with the target, the greater the risk!" Ravion removes three Chem-Injectors from his pack, clipping them to his belt within easy reach. "How far from the Mansion is this Doctor?" he says, turning towards the nearest of the civilians.
Everybody:
"Not far- It's just a few blocks from here. Just go down that street..." She says, pointing down the road opposite to the Mansion.
Horst nods as drives down the street to the doctors place.
Everybody:
A few minutes later, you reach the house: Its a tiny one-story house covered in dark ivy, its yard unkempt and rampant with waist high weeds. Its set relatively far from the street, its windows curtained with heavy black drapes.
When the car pulls up to a halt, Ravion replaces his gear, giving his glasses one final look before frowning and putting them in his pack. Using the blunt end of his Witch Lance he pushes himself into a standing position. "Right, I'll go first." He looks to Horst, "Keep me covered from here. Claus stay with the civilians." He turns to Ralix and Alicia as he limps towards the backdoor of the van, "Coming? I might need you to do the talking, Ralix." That said, he opens the door and hops out gingerly, limping towards the front door of the house.
The Group:
Ravion crosses the yard without any problems and finds the front door closed.
Ravion knocks on the door, loudly.

EDIT: I gotta disappear for a few hours, that'll at least let everyone get up to speed.
Ralix hops out of the van, and trots along behind Ravion. As they approach the doctor's house, Ralix digs around in his backpack and removes something - a nice red hat with a white feather plume. Normally, it would make him look professional and aristocratic, but the effect is lost since his normally vibrant red robes are now a multitude of nasty colors and stains, not to mention the patches of burnt fabric. Still, its good to at least try to look professional...
Ravion and Ralix:
You knock on the door... but there's no answer.... at least, not at first. After a minute or two, you hear a voice- its saying something you can't quite make out- and the light footsteps of someone moving towards the door.
Without warning, the door opens- and a spindly old man, with a longish gray beard and hair steps out. His clothes are rather dark, mostly black, and on his nose there is a pair of tiny gold-frames spectacles.
"Yes? Who is it?" He says, looking over Ralix.
Alicia
Alicia following the others takes a quick glance at the man before returning her attention to the surroundings senses peaked to detect any sign of danger.

Alicia:
SpoilerStrangely enough- there's absolutely nobody there: its rather disturbing, seeing the chaos that has erupted around town.
"Why hello there, my good man!" Ralix politely quips to the elderly gentleman. "I understand you're a doctor. Might you be interested in aiding a group of worn and weary travelers in need of medical attention?"
Everybody:
The man's face turns rather stern for a moment, before suddenly taking a more jovial appearance.
"Come in-" He says, then after taking a look at the wobbling assassin, he mumbles something about mental and spiritual purity and adds "Your friend can lie down in the master bedroom in the back."
He motions for them to follow him. Behind you, Claus stays in the van to watch the front door while the two civilians join you inside.
Doctor Bloom's house is peculiar- to say the least. It is crowded with beakers, Flasks, glass and rubber tubing and other laboratory equipment. Fluids and powders of all colors and consistencies are stored in strange unlabeled bottles. All around, dozens of old, open books are scattered about the house.
He leads you into the Living room, before pointing to a hallway in the back that no doubt leads to the master bedroom.
"Put him there, and I will be there in a moment... "
Alicia
Alicia takes up the rear of the group sliding through the door keeping her eyes open and alert. She tries to get some of the text from the books as she passes.

Alicia:
Unfortunately- the books you see don't have any pictures. Furthermore, they are all written in ancient or archaic languages which you are completely unable to understand just by glancing at them.
Ralix silently follows along, and then escorts Ravion to the bedroom. As he goes, he scans the rooms for signs of either heresy or devotion to the Emperor. He also tries to hear what the doctor says about spiritual purity...

Ravion:
SpoilerMuch like Alicia, you can't find much in the general jumble that is his living room- and even as you advance into the house, the disarray keeps you from casually reading the books: you'd have to stop and and get a closer look to find out whats written in there.
As for his mumbling; your not quite sure what he said- only that it was aimed at Ravion, and his tone of voice indicates he wasn't quite pleased with it: but that's not a surprise, knowing what you know about the assassin.
"So, you have been busy- judging by your conditions..." He says as he walks ahead of you.
"The work of the Emperor is never easy," Ralix smiles, hoping to gauge the man's reaction.
Ralix:
The man keeps on walking, but he seems distracted, as if he has something on mind.
"Aha" He chuckles, then says "I feel like the youth in the parable described within "Geheime Figuren der Rosenkreuzer"..." as if expecting you to know what that means.
"Beg pardon?" Ralix tilts his head to the side. "I'm afraid I don't get the reference. I'm sorry, did I offend you? I know the majority of the residents here do not follow the Emperor anymore. Its just so hard to get over the assumption that everyone around me follows the same faith..."
Ralix:
"Yes, that's understandable- what with the underground hive, breeding grounds you know- those things at the bottom, and the Hybrids controlling the top ... That Obes- too greedy for his own good." He more or less casually mentions, before abruptly changing topics. "Have you seen Lester's plants? That man's always had a green thumb- but he certainly took it to the next level: his hybridization technique is quite peculiar, he must use some sort of compound..."
You reach the master bedroom, and the good doctor motions for them to put the assassin on the bed before moving towards a cluttered desk on the other side of the room. Leaning down, he opens a cupboard and reaches for sometihng.
Ralix
"Why no, I haven't seen Lester's plants. What sort of species is he breeding? I've never been too good at gardening. Tried a few times, but I always over-water them or something..." the Adept shrugs, completely ignoring the doctor's comments about the Tyranids for the time being.
As the doctor goes to look for something in the cupboard, Ralix calmly states: "May I ask what you're getting, Good Doctor? And my I also ask that we drop this facade, and be honest about what's going on?" As he speaks, his hand tenses, ready to reach into his robes for a weapon. But he shows no visible signs of hostility, and hopes the others will follow his lead. "I'm sure you understand my concerns..."
Ralix:
"My Kit, Of course- I am going to need it to work on him." He says, and motions to the assassin with one hand as he pulls a doctor's case from the cupboard.
"A facade- like "the Glory of the Emperor in the Light of Dawn", Great knowledge hidden beneath the surface... They haven't found it, have they? No, I didn't think so." he answers his own question. "The facade is the town itself; and your concern is understandable: your friend requires immediate attention, the wound is probably already infected."
He motions to the door-
"You can wait outside, if you'd like- I will be out when I finish..."
Spoiler[OOC: You can try forbidden lore (heresy) tests and scholatic lore (occult) tests to figure out what the guy was talking about]
Ravion eyes the man warily, but follows Ralix inside, and sits on the bed indicated, removing his pack and placing it on the ground next to him. However he makes sure he has one of the chemical canisters and his Sigilite close at hand still. It's obvious he doesn't trust the man, however at the mention of the word infected his expression changes, as he looks down and seems to realise the extent of his wounds for the first time. "Infected normal, or infected like them?" his expression darkens as he asks.
Ralix and Ravion and anyone else who followed them into the (relatively) small room.
"Ahh, wouldn't you like to know!" He says before opening his small case. "You know- disturbing creatures- The Sinophian Bore Worms: they latch onto their victims, then bury themselves deep within the wound to reproduce."
He pulls out a scalpel from inside the bag.
"Let's find out, shall we?"
