It's a Tsofu-tar after all, it's like wine.

Oh, hey, here is a question. What is the origin of everyone's Avatars? I'm curious as to why Coidzer's looks like what it does, and what not.

The only other two avatars I've ever used that were not her were:

Right now I'm just running with colour swapped "Osme", the Moe Antropomorphization of Osmium (right now Osmoiridium) for Elemental Week.
And why not... Evolution!

Yha . Though I think that once my comic gets going I may ask him to change mine a bit to maaaybe be more art esque. Though I'm not actually doing the art, as mentioned :smallwink:
Also, I remember you telling the origin of your cute pixie avatar thing. Hooray!
And cool, about the element thing.

And what do you mean by more art-esque?

I mean like, more related to the comic. Like, maybe behind a desk with a whip and what not.

Can't wait to see your comic actually come out, how long has it been... half a year?

It certainly can't have been that long. I'd imagine only a few months, not half a year!
..Teddy, has it been half a year? Because if it is I think you've got some splainin to do *Ricky Ricardo pose*

Have you ever tried to not be awesome?
Update: The trip through the storm drain with my two friends wasn't even 2 hours long (which was the minimum expected). It was an hour and a half.
I was probably the best prepared, with a stick to make noise, hit people and get webs out of the way. I also wore wool socks and hiking boots (compared to their Converse and cotton socks). Their feet got wet; mine stayed dry (aside from sweat, which was all over me). It was really interesting.

It's not a choice Absolmorph. Stop being rude like that.
Also, that sounds fairly interesting. Why exactly DID you go galavanting into a storm drain?

Why not do it? It opens on one end into a creek bed and the majority of it is at least 6 feet tall (two sections are much shorter, but they're like 10 feet long each).

Well, I used to mostly just use some of the Giant-provided avatars, then moved on to slightly more standard prefab ones from other places, especially the Kate Beaton ones of either Tesla or of King Harold getting an arrow in his eye & his expletives being replaced by a cry of "TESLA!"
I finally got the OOTS-vatar itch after about... I think a year and a half of being around this place. Earlier I think I was still too busy with the moping about my love life to get that concerned.
Anyhoo, I was, at the time I first started getting really into this site, rather interested in the D&D 3.X at the time & as I like playing the mario/luigi, I was looking at ways to combine fighty-casty-sneaky characters and found the Master of Masks. Not so good of a PrC, really, but I was rather taken with the whole masks idea and found it charming. So it kinda stuck around in the back of my mind, bouncing around in there.
For whatever reason, I think I had stumbled upon a thread discussing this same sorta topic or maybe whether we'd statted up our avatars as characters in RPGs... So I decided I'd go ahead and do that myself, and moseyed on down to the request an avatar thread.
And since our avatars are merely the masks we wear around one another, I found the idea of a Master of Masks as my avatar, a mask wearing a mask, if you will, delightfully kitsch and meta. A fine old chap by the handle of Elrond obliged my original request, and did his spin on my reimagining of the Lord mask.
Since I like having little twists, I requested two versions, one where the mask was being worn, and another where the mask was being put aside and a cheeky wink was being delivered to the audience. Because what can I say, I like ladies. :smallwink:
Flash forward to when Introbulus was first getting himself established around these parts with his rep & kuppys and the like. One thing led to another, a jocular word was said, and I ended up getting kuppified, along with an altered avatar to boot.
And I kinda just been using that one ever since, as I've had less time to change avatars around, or to think up any new requests.

Congrats. Since he is your brother and a male, that's Triple Brony status. You know, from actually being a bro.

Not likely, I've already seen the first two episodes and didn't really like it. I guess the Internet managed to cause me Hype Aversion or I simply don't like the concept, or the writing. To each his own I guess.

Re: Cynical Avocado's Absolutely Admirable Accumulation of Random Bantering #165
I plan on getting around to watching it one of these days, but in all honesty it doesn't really sound like it deserves so much popularity. Like August said, Hype Aversion.
I like shows with a consistent, sequential storyline.

Then you may like the first two episodes, and then likely nothing else.

Yeah, I'm just messing around :smalltongue: Whether you like it or not doesn't matter much to me. One big thing that got my brother to try it is that Lauren Faust also made some good Cartoon Network shows.

Re: Cynical Avocado's Absolutely Admirable Accumulation of Random Bantering #165
For what it's worth, the first two episodes are easily my least favorite in the series. Both felt really contrived and rushed, both in the "we crammed two episodes' worth of content into one" and "we did this real close to deadline." It picked up a lot after that (episode three has what may be my favorite moment in the whole series so far).

Re: Cynical Avocado's Absolutely Admirable Accumulation of Random Bantering #165
Erua, you remind me of my brother, who made a forced convert of me into bronyism. Now I am a happily assimilated herd member who listens to Pinkie Pies cupcake song and Fluttershy singing every day. You will join us! *grins and watches Rarity complain to a bunch of medieval dogs*
Main reason I gave in and watcehd the first episode is because I love KND. Spinach Inquisition... :smallamused: Bald child singing... fat child eating spinach... so strange.

Guess where I took inspiration from? (should have done as well for the hair but I wanted to take hairstyles in another direction... grave mistake.)

It's not that grave, I think the fancy dress and curled hair is a nifty change of pace.
