Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone - Hotel]
She giggles, "You're a charmer, Charles," her accent with his name makes it sound like she's saying 'Chawls'. Of course, Charles may be able to tell that it's Caziel, the shard of chaos in Jenna, in control now. She seems like she's a bit more giggly than Jenna, strangely.
"Anything you want to do now?"

Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone- Hotel]
A lovely offer, but I think I must decline. Sir Hex says, breathing a heavy sigh. He grins mischievously. Plus, my host is giving me a headache. I really don't think he approves of what I'm doing with his mortal form. Not that I care.:smallamused:
Although... He produces a pair of manacles from his coat pocket. I've always wanted to try this. Assuming you would trust me not to simply leave you tied up? Hex asks.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone - Hotel]
Caziel grins, "I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to try." She'll kiss him again and then attempt to pull the curtain a second time!
Caziel doesn't intend to feed this time - Jenna has already gotten her fill, and Caziel doesn't need it, so this purely for fun.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Hotel- Blue Zone]
Right before they pull the curtain, Sir Hex will attempt to lock the manacles around Caziel's wrists. This should be... Interesting. I've never done anything like this with my own kind before.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone - Hotel]
The manacles get locked without trouble, and the curtain is pulled.
At the end of it, Caziel will be breathing heavily, likely still wearing the manacles as she lays on the bed
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
Sir Hex is resting beside her, also very exhausted, but in an excellent mood. He reaches over to unlock the manacles, kissing Caziel as he does so, unless of course she stops him.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
Caziel doesn't stop him from doing either, "Well? How'd you like that?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
I haven't enjoyed myself like that for centuries. Hexley says, between breaths. He reaches out to run a hand along Caziel's side, before giving her a final kiss and getting out of bed.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
Caziel grins, "And what of everybody's favorite magician. Is Charles still giving you headaches?"
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
Oh, I put him to sleep for a bit. Relay my thanks to your host for me, the fact that her feeding weakened him is allowing me a bit more freedom than usual. Hex says, pulling on his pants. Freedom I am most grateful for.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
"I definitely will," Caziel says, getting out of bed herself. She'd nearly forgotten, but she had a place to be as well - not that it couldn't wait, of course, but it had to be done today. She'll pull on her own pants clothes, watching Hex out of the corner of her eye
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family
[Blue Zone Hotel]
Oh, I'd almost forgotten. There is some sort of being of chaos and destruction roaming around. A powerful one. It may or may not be one of us, but either way, do be a dear and tell me if you see it. I believe it calls itself Oblivion. Sir Hex says, as he puts on his shirt and jacket.

Caziel rolls her eyes as she laces up her corset, "Wonderful. I hate it when a chaos beast just comes up and destroys things. Gives us all a bad name.":smallannoyed: Caziel is not pleased at this news, but says, "Sure, If I find it, I'll let you know."
She gives Hex another kiss and then grabs her jacket and waves, "See you another time, Love," and disappears out the door. As she goes, he should already be able to see her more demonic features melting into a human shape. after all, she has to get those high-heels on somehow :smalltongue:

It's just cruel how shoe shops discriminate against satyrs, succubi, and other hoofed creatures. I for one demand equal footwear!:smalltongue:
Exactly why I need to see it. Best if the thing just disappears before causing any more damage, in my mind. Sir Hex says, returning the kiss and making his own way out of the building. By which I mean he jumps out a window, and proceeds across the rooftops.

"Is that what... emptied him?" Xifra asks. She appears somewhat apprehensive, but mainly curious and excited.

"No. Helped make him... different." Yochanan answers, the grin shifting on his face.
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family

"I'm glad you're starting to remember." Xifra says, putting a hand to his... face? Is there a face besides the grin? "Are you going to show him again?"

"I haven't decided yet." Yochanan says. No, there isn't really a face. If you look at his head, it's entirely dominated by that freakish squat white V. "Though you aren't my bonded. I have little to consider, showing you such things, other than your mental state."
-
Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family

"You don't think I'm strong enough yet." Xifra says, disappointed. "I want to see, but I will trust your judgement. I don't need a broken mind."
Too late for that, Xif. :smalltongue:

Re: [Nexus] Home V: Somewhere to take your family

"Broken? I'm not sure of that. It's possible, certainly. But there might merely be... changes." Yochanan intones, having specifically avoided saying 'loss of sanity' or suchlike.

"If you think... maybe..." Xifra wavers. Then she smiles brightly. "You decide." :smallamused:

DING. FRIES ARE DONE.
ALSO, UPGRADES.
A small slot opens up in the chamber and a basket full of every variety of fry you could think of pops out. The robots cheer in unison.
Erin looks up from her two days' worth of Sudoku in surprise!
Ignores the cheering robots and fries, and tries to check on Phil.

Yochanan's grin seems to widen somehow. "Come." He tries to take her hand and walk with her to the top of the tower. And by 'walk' I mean waltz willy-nilly through already unstable spacetime to come out elsewhere.

Xifra goes with him willingly, though by the time they arrive, her white mask is back on. She's also carrying all of her Objects.

The chamber door slides open, and the goop spills out onto the floor, carrying a prone Phil with it. Lying on the floor and covered in goop, it's impossible to see any details on him right now.

"Look." The Yochanan commands, gesturing out over the edge of the precipice. Below, stretching for miles, is no longer a desert. Perhaps there never was truly a vast wasteland. Below is the cosmos, alien spaces encompassing spiraling nebulae and glittering stars. Swirling planets Xifra will never know spiral in the aether.
"Gather yourself." Yochanan intones, standing just behind her. His voice seems to fill the emptiness, as he knows it all too well. "Then let go. You will understand."

Some of the smaller robots, obviously meant for cleaning the place up, help her out, and as the goop is wiped, vacuumed, or steam-cleaned away, bits and pieces of Phil can now be seen, and the changes are startling.
Along his spine, or perhaps replacing it, is an almost arm-thick dull silver cable that curves just perfectly with the spine and has some thin bands of a glowing blue material going across it vertically revealed by open sections every few centimeters. The spine-cable sticks just barely out of Phil's back, but tapers down and recedes at the base of his skill and the top of his pelvis. Similar smaller cables lead down the outsides of his arms and the front of his legs, tapering down beneath the elbows and knees and coming back out on the forearms and shins.
Just barely visible within Phil's calves are the aged bronze colored toroid springs, merging just perfectly with the triceps surae, muscle and machine pulsing beneath the now oddly blue-gray toned skin that could pass as normal under a cursory inspection if it weren't for the gently glowing blue material running along the inside of Phil's skin like perfectly measured out and placed wiring, connecting the strange spine-cable to other important bits and to alien looking black metal circles located on the outsides of major joints and nervous centers (aside from the head).
Still laying face down on the floor, Phil doesn't move or appear to breath.
