Don't want to talk about Kung Fu eh? Fine. If you want something done right then I have to do it, evidently.
There is nothing more light-hearted and relaxing than watching a decent kung fu movie. Especially a comedy. You know exactly what's going on, what's going to happen and how it's going to happen and that's the beauty of it. Nothing easier to watch and yet still amusing. Those of you with friends make want to invest in some sort of Kung Fu movie night. Fun times will be had all around I'm sure.

Anything with Bruce Lee. Hows that for a Kung-Fu movie. Though, Jackie Chan is better when you want funny too.

STOP PRESS.
Guess who just made pancakes and ate them?
Doggy just made pancakes and he and his mother just ate them. We still have loads of pancake mix left too! I love flour. It's so enabling.

Do go on. What other uninteresting trivialities have you done today?
Perhaps you fed your cat or drank a glass of water?

You did not mention their taste. I hope they were suitably delicious. If they were not then try again.

Yes, and you are not required to name him Sonic. You do, however, get bonus points if you name him Dodger. Because he is a street urchin, and he is artful.
@Doggie: Yay pancakes! ^o^ Pay no attention to the man in the black coat. ;p Pancakes rule.

Ah, now you see, I didn't do either of those things, although shortly after getting up, I went to the toilet, but only after putting on some clothes. Then I opened a parcel and a letter from a bank account I forgot I had informing me of completely irrelevant changes to their policies. Then I had something to eat because it was 3 in the afternoon and I was hungry. I aimlessly browsed the internet for a couple of hours before eating something else. Then I made the aforementioned pancakes. Then I posted this.

Re: The thread that thwarted twenty ten ton tuna's (Random banter #144)
I dont like pancakes. They are bland. And having to put stuff on them to get a taste i dont like so much anymore. Too much sweet you have to pore on them. idk... i just dont like pancakes.

Oh, I do rather. Later, I'm planning to play video games with people from the internet as a crude form of social interaction (involving rocket launchers)

Oh, I like to think of every instance of "you" to be plural. Makes things more interesting that way.

I like to assume people are talking to me. Makes me feel more important. :smalltongue:

Honestly, at this rate we might as well have a volley of G&S between us. Except you'd win hands down.
Reminds me of our food pun battle. Hey, wait a moment, we never decided who won that battle. Should we raise it from the dead and begin again?
Personally, I felt my puns were of a higher standard, and you were the first to stop. Probably because you had to come off the internet, but still.
I think I'm a little off my pun-game, at least compared to back then. I'm trying to think of one and all my efforts are proving to be fruitless.

Na, I like sopranos too, it's iust that in G&S the sopranos get all the best songs (when compared to the altos (I'll never get over the one solo line for every alto in the chorus in the Mikado)) and again in my choir which does classical music the altos are iust the supporting layer for the sopranos who kind of . . . soar (or sing incomprehensibly high) above us.
Since I think my comment in the last thread got passed over,

And yeah, alto parts can be a bit bad. Especially in G&S and christmas carols, or anything relatively boring and classical. Or, if the music is more complicated, they end up as the repository for all the leftover notes in the weird chords, like baritones in barbershop. So, parts still odd, and also difficult to sing.

That. :smallwink:
Well, I don't think the RB pantheon ever had a God of Cuteness, though I might be misremembering. Getting to be an RB deity is fairly easy. Curly's impressive because she gets proclaimed as a Goddess elsewhere, and also because people basically decided she was a Goddess without her proclaiming herself as one.

Damnit I left the instant pancake stuff in Fenham.

Fixed that for you.
And hedgehogs in Sonic probably can be cute, but are more likely to be iust awesome.
RL hedgehogs, however, are incredibly cute.

No, you didnt. Shadow exists in the Eggman Universe, not the Robotnik one.

Re: The thread that thwarted twenty ten ton tuna's (Random banter #144)
:smallyuk: EXPLANATION TIME!
"Dr. Eggman" is the nickname that Sonic uses for Dr. Robotnik. At some point, he simply gave up and decided to go with it. His last name has NEVER been Eggman. Read>> His grandfather is Dr. Ivo Robotnik. Therefore, he is and always will be Dr. Robotnik.

Re: The thread that thwarted twenty ten ton tuna's (Random banter #144)
He is Robotnik. It is a better name. It doesn't matter that it wasn't his original japanese name. Megaman was named Rock Man. Mario was named Mr. Video. I don't care about these.
Maybe "Eggman" is alright for you underage types who never had a Mega Drive, but not us sophisticated types.

Re: The thread that thwarted twenty ten ton tuna's (Random banter #144)
SEGA retconned Robotnik. He is now Dr. Eggman, or at least, it's his super villain ... cover.

You don't need instant pancake mix. Pancakes only have three ingredients. Eggs, milk and flour.
Speaking of which, I think my puns are rather eggcellent. And that's no yolk. I'm really being brought out of my shell.
In the Sonic 2 manual it has Robotnik with Eggman as his nickname.
-
Re: The thread that thwarted twenty ten ton tuna's (Random banter #144)
In game he refers to himself as Eggman, his theme song is called E.G.G.M.A.N. ... Though there's a redo Called Dr. Robeatnix ... Hmmm

That's not the point. The point is the instant pancake stuff is a couple of days past its use by date and should therefore be used fairly soon.
@Bacon: You're missing the point. We don't care what Sega have to say on the matter. We reject the retcon because Robotnik is iust a much better name.
