[Guest Room]
No. he wants her in the room right then, and he wants to take her clothes off and throw her down on top the bed.
"I think it would be for the best."
[Guest Room]
The sorceress slowly nods, "Okay, does this mean something have changed lately? You feel more ready to hurt me?" Cessie sounds extremely worried as she look at him with utter concern.
[Guest Room]
Harnel swallows and nods, "You remember how we're avoiding sex right now? It's getting hard, Cessie. Very hard. It just keeps building up, and having you sleep next to me is making it a lot harder to keep control."
[Guest Room]
Cessie opens her mouth and then closes it again, "Harnel... I didn't realize that. You should have told me sooner." She says gently.
"There... there are ways to get relief without sex though if you're having such a hard time." Oh dear.
[Guest Room]
That causes Harnel to raise an eyebrow, "Like what?"
Assuming Cessie tells him what I believe she's going to tell him, I believe we can simply keep it silent. I believe BR referred to it as an "Aural curtain" once. >.>
[Guest Room]
Yeah, we will not get to know what they are talking about here. :smalltongue:
"But what do you think of that?" She asks quietly.
[Guest Room]
Harnel nods vigorously, "Yeah. Yeah, I'd definitely like that... if you're willing to do it for me."
[Guest Room]
"Of course I am." She replies gently with a smile. "I'd do anything for you Harnel."
[Guest Room]
"You'd best get back to whatever guests you brought over then," Harnel says simply, "I can hear them downstairs. Don't let me keep you."
[Guest Room]
"I'd guess. I will see you later then." However before she goes the field will shimmer once again and Cessie will attempt to kiss Harnel passionately.
[Guest Room]
Harnel will return the kiss gratefully, surprised Cessie is so willing to risk infection. Not that he's complaining, however, as he returns it with equal passion... before pushing Cessie away, a pained expression on his face, "Go, I'll talk to you later, Sia Memamosal."
[Guest Room]
Cessie have figured the infection doesn't spread orally so to her she doesn't risk anything.
"Yes... I'm sorry." Cessie replies, giving him an apologetic look before hurrying down to her new guests.
[Inside the Keep]
Dorota gives a slightly nervous curtsey. She hasn't expected to meet so many other people here.
Well, like Cessie said, we met at the library and decided to retire here when it got too noisy there. Someone seems to have been playing with magic.
Sizewell the golem peers at Arik. Having been created about a month ago, every new person he meets is very interesting.
[Foyer]
"A pleasure to make your acquaintance Mister...?" Nadas would bow in greeting, but he's still carrying way too many books. It's a wonder he didn't drop them all on the trip here.
[Foyer]
"Arik Mithar." The lich replies as he looks between the two. "I presume you're scholars of this world? I could use some help in that area."
[Foyer]
Dorota straightens her glasses again. This trip to the library sure had unexpected results. She reminds herself that she needs to go home before Crissy starts to worry.
You could say so, yes. What do you need help with?
[Foyer]
"That area is particularly broad." Nadas points out. Not much help they can be with such a broad topic.
[Foyer]
"And I hoped you could help you could help me make it more narrow." Arik replies. "Dragonbone to be exact, I need to find it or an owner of it if you get my point." He declares as he steps closer to the pair.
"It's for a cure to my brother in law."
[Foyer]
Dorota frowns.
I'm afraid I have little to no experience with dragons. On my homeworld, they're long excinct if they ever existed.
[Foyer]
Nadas thinks over this.
"I don't doubt there are fey-wild dragons in the Weald. And I think I recall seeing a dragon that lived at GLoG, but that was a great deal of time ago. I know its a rare reagent as well, so if you found a particularly rich and powerful wizard, it's quite likely they'll have some in their reagent closet or vault."
[Foyer]
"Dragons happen to be long extinct in my own world as well which is why I lack such an ingredients. I'm afraid I need to acquire it however, Ces would be completely heartbroken if Harnel died." Arik replies. "I'd gladly pay for any information you could share with me."
[Foyer]
Dorota shakes her head. I'm sorry... like I said, I don't really know anything about dragons or their bones. She's curious as to what sort of illness or condition requires dragon bones to cure it, but that sounds like a rather personal question.
[Foyer]
"Err... I've already shared the knowledge I can recall that might be useful. I fail to see the point of payment." :smallconfused:
Nadas is slightly confused!
[Foyer]
Arik smiles faintly, "Ah, a bad habit I collected from the company I keep, knowledge is rarely this freely given. Usually you need to pay for it." He chuckles. "It's really a luxury now. But if you don't have anything else to share I will thank you for your time. Someone have to save my brother in law after all..." He pauses for a moment. "You don't happen to know anything about 'demonic corruption' do you?"
[Foyer]
I've... had some experience with demon-based modification to people. Not directly mind you, but I read records of a project involving injecting demon blood into humans, Dorota says uncertainly. This isn't an episode in her life she's proud of, but she can't resist showing that she's knowledgeable about a subject.
[Foyer]
Nadas stiffens for a second, though it might just be from all those books. After letting Dorota answer, he just gives a quiet "No."
Cause he's always that succinct.
[Foyer]
"Injecting demon blood you say? It's it possible to reverse somehow?" He asks Dorota. "Or perhaps you know where I could gain more information about this method?"
[Foyer]
Dorota shakes her head.
As far as I know, noone has attempted to reverse it. And the details are in the restricted archive on my homeworld.
[Front Door]
More than likely sometime after Dorota and Nadas have departed, there's a knocking on the front door. It seems a certain bunnygirl has made her way here from Watch.
Front Door
Kirin, a cream colored cat girl with some black stripes wearing a blue maid outfit, answers the door. She looks at the bunny girl and does not seem to think her odd. At all. She bows and steps aside. "Good day. How may I help you, ma'm?"
