Surely the doctor can take out two goons pointing a gun at him, because He Is A Ninja...
He's not a ninja, he's a Luchador. They can't fight anyone without ropes, or at least a turnstile, to do moves from.
Nah, too obvious. My guess is he's
Spoilerthe real Dr. McLuchador pretending to be Dr. McNinja disguised as Dr. McLuchador.
Why would he do this? I don't know? Because life is crazy?!
King Radical is the best.
Wait, why does Dr. McLuchador have that kind of reaction to the Inoctek book, he's never seen the thing before!
For those of us that aren't Dr. Mcninja, what is that book?
The latest comic literally just told you.
Click the link at the bottom.
Although I admit I completely forgot King Radical had the real book.
So...it's a book about tennis? Why is that important?
We don't know what's in the real book, the one that got delivered to the scientists was a fake, switched in by Hortense on the orders of King Radical.
All we know about the book is that it contains all the Knowledge of a lost, Magical(?) race of people that are gone.
I don't think they were magical. I think they were Radical to the max, following the teachings of King Rad.
And what he's doing with Cumberland is a redux of what he did with the Inockteks.
I was half expecting the good doctor to say he had his own portal, and suplexed it into granting him mastery of medicine.
Hrm... It appears the Death Volley archive is broken.
Is it me or Doc has been terrible at stealth deception and general ninja stuff recently?
Dr McNinja has always been terrible at deception. McLuchador seems to be just as bad.
SO... anyone else kinda feel sorry for King Radical?
I do, especially since he seems to be over his violently-enforced-mandatory-coolness phase witch got me mad at him in the first place.
I wonder if it will turn out that he knew it was McNinja the entire time.
I think he went along with it because he still wants to convince Doc to join him, and it's the best way to explain him his intentions .
I wonder what will happen when he realizes that Doc is Doc. Will he shed manly tears as he realizes he has the raddest archnemesis ever?
Trying to feel simpathy for the poor exile and yada yada but ...Nope, i still just find the character unlikeable and not all that interesting .
I find him interesting. Just not completely sympathetic.
Today's page may make it look like Rad acts a bit loopy. It's only partly true. He looks loopy because our world isn't rad enough to have talking animals.
I think he knows, and is just stringing Doc along while trying to explain his past in a non-confrontational manner, knowing Doc has to listen or else break his cover.
You know, I hope somebody can call out King Radical for not being able to enjoy the simplicities in life.
His world may be rad, but it was also garish and over elaborate.
From his point of view, our world is dull and simple.
Besides, he enjoys fresh, locally produced organic food, prepared simply and with passion. A perfectly reasonable simplicity to enjoy.
And from my point of view his world is tacky and non-hardworking. We needed to WORK to invent helicopters! We needed to WORK to invent clones!
We need to WORK to create the super awesome mountain dew.
And Im pretty sure that salad thing is our world compressing on him.
Either way, it doesn't give him the right to enforce his worldview on innocent people.
Eventually people will realize that radicalness only works by comparing it to boring stuff.
