Frogs? Yes. Super reach.
There were 2 crocs adjacent to you when you started to manifest, so one took a swing. Luck of the dice. Lucky the crocs are not interested in sharing, they each are only targeting 1 pc.
But if it makes it any better, the next combat doesn't focus on reach, grapple, swallow hole, or large vs small
how are they adjacent unless that raft is a lot smaller than it appear on the graphic, millie is in the center of what appears to be a 15ft x 15ft raft with that space right in front of grey empty

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
If you look on the map grid, the two crocs to millies adjacent right are in the squares adjacent to her. Functionally, these crocs are 5×10 squares [long]
The space below gray has half a croc, and the space below that had another half a croc
[roll0] confirm
Ms Pendergast, why are you rolling sneak attack damage?
-
Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
@rose
Roll confirmation, maybe your crit damage will Injure the croc

I THOUGHT that if I went before an opponent in the first round of combat I could get SA damage, but I do believe that is from a previous edition, if the croc acted in the surprise round, it is not flatfooted and not subject to SA as per pathfinder rules.

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Yea, the crocs have already acted, ill post in a bit your effects
-
Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread

hrm okay, so is millie grappled then ?
-
Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
@pendergast.
Don't forget that dagger is technically a +3 dagger vs animals, extra attack bonus and damage.
Yes millie is grappled, but if this keeps up, it won't last!

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
I've made an edit as there was a small confusion on croc #5 vs croc #4.
Crocs 5 and 6 are now dead. Millie is no longer grappled.
I do believe Ted is our last PC up

okay so croc 3& 4 are still partially adjacent to millie correct?
rose and perdergast have 1 & 2 near
Grey and ted should concentrate on croc 4
rose, millie and pendergast should work on croc 2
-
Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Yes. 3 and 4 are diagonally adjacent to millie and are flanking ted.

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Sounds like a plan. Just have to think how Rose can actually do damage in melee. ^^;

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Alright, All the NPCS are effectively in one block, and the PCs are in the Other, wooooo, that was a crazy NPC block. but everyone is still "Standing" Everyone! its your turn! Do the thing!

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
for future refrence.
being at 0 hp gives you the staggered condition.
Staggered
A staggered creature may take a single move action or standard action each round (but not both, nor can he take full-round actions). A staggered creature can still take free, swift, and immediate actions. A creature with nonlethal damage exactly equal to its current hit points gains the staggered condition.

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Made a mistake, Grey is attacking #4, not #1.

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread

Uh? The srd I was reading says casting defensively mean you don't provoke an AoO at all. Failing the concentration check only loses your spell, not cause an AoO. Where did it say it causes an AoO for failing the check?

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
Oh dear, conversion error.
Side effect of converting from 1e dnd to pf in my head, sometimes other editions and rules sneak in. Thank you for the correction.
So that means the aoo is being striken from the record, you lose the spell, don't get the ac bonus. And when they do attack, you do get hit instead and take 10 damage. And are now grappled.
I'll adjust the post

It's alright.
Though I'm a little confused by the post now. On my screen it shows the croc has a to-hit of 14. Rose's AC is 17. Are the numbers wrong on my screen?

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
*facepalm*
No.
You are right, I misread and swapped mage armor and magic missile castings.
You are free!!!
I am so sorry for the confusion.

It's alright. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have moments like that when I was in the DM seat. ^^

2nd combat over! 700 exp!

Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
is there a check involved in gathering gators for millie's gator boots ?
-
Re: The Cataclysm (AD&D Ravenloft -> PF1 Conversion) OOC Thread
DC 10 survival check or an untrained craft check DC to determine that you don't ruin the materials to make later, you can try up to 6 times, cause 6 gators.
But I think the footwear you are making would indeed be called crocs.

LOL Animal Bane dagger, to remove (from each) the 2 feet which will be used as the "TREDS" then some hide for the sides / top, embellished by teeth around the tops - similar to hiking boots

At least three really good rolls there for some boots.
