Given the number of older people with kids here it would at least be a fast discussion if you're just trying to find a few candidates and not compiling lists based on guesswork (a terrible idea for a lot of reasons).

I mean, worst case scenario you just pick people at random, and then sacrifice them regardless. Eventually you'll hit on one that works. That works for a Chaotic deity, right? :smallamused:

Good point.
I suppose this is an ironic discussion for mother's day. Or a very appropriate one.

"sacrificing a non-virgin"
Okay I'm safe forever. Yey! #celibacy

...guys I meant "who could show you the photo of your wound" not "who caused this harm to you". I've been following the updates I know what happened to her.

Bye now!
Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
To clarify this whole story:
I was on a car accident on the 25th of April which involved me turning left and a car hitting our side at 80km/h. I was mostly mentally shaken by this event, but physical things also happened.
The infection that happened to me was likely caused by the car accident, but there's no way to fully prove it, so it won't be covered by my university's insurance (interning right now, car accident happened during an event tour for it). I went to the hospital to show it on May 1st, went home, and two days later went to the hospital for a "small" check up - ended up being at the hospital for three days.
Spoiler: My procedure, might be gorey for some
Show
The infection was the size of an adult male's palm, so it was necessary to make a 4cm incision on my back to squeeze all the pus and blood out. As my inflammation levels were through the roof I could not get any kind of pain relief apart from a not-so-amazing ice spray, so I just screamed into a pillow and cried. Due to its size, they had to squeeze it for a while.
I did not realise that it was a cavity wound until last Friday when I really focused what my nurse was saying.
Today, a friend came over to help with changing my bandages and she took a picture of it for me. I looked at it and threw my phone away. Looking at it again it isn't that bad, but it's still a damn cavity wound.

I'm pretty amazed that my friend's reaction was "oh ok *changes bandages*". She's some sort of an iron lady, I swear.

Oof, sucks that they're pulling you on that technicality. It should be covered by your insurance.
And yeah, some people are way better about wounds than others. Glad you've got someone to help with that though!

Did you hear the one about the carpenter whose doctor asked for a stool sample?
Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
So I got some uncle's and aunts in from Austria visiting. They flew in to New York where my mom meet them, and had a nice weekend in the city before coming to Birmingham. Apparently, one night they went to a restaurant and had burgers. Huge meaty things, two-handers. Anyway, the waiter asked if they wanted onion rings on the burgers. My aunt said yes, of course. She loves onions. So they plate is delivered, and she's just confounded by these massive breaded circles they gave her. She's thinking, "where are the onion slices?" And my mom just started laughing; even she had gotten so used to "onion rings" meaning a very specific thing that she didn't think anything of my aunt not understanding what she was asking for until they arrived.
I got a good laugh out of that story.
Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
So who's getting the next thread?
Re: Dark Shadow's Surprisingly Well-Lit Random Banter #217
Not me! I've still got 20 threads left until I can do another one.
Finn, I'm glad to hear that the infection is out and that you have someone you're comfortable with changing your bandages. I wish you a fast recovery.
Hello everyone! It's your overworked and underpaid wombat, back from the lurking realm. How is everyone?

@ FinnLass, it is actually good that your cavity woundis on your back, or you would be expected to learn to stuff it with wound pack your self!
