Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
She ran into the elemental, but why. I can't remember the reason why she run off.

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Basher: I'm always willing to run a dungeon for anybody. If you need a plot or somewhere to explore, I'll supply you one. Just let me know and I'll come up with something.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
@Earl, that would be great, thank you. Please notify me if you've already made a plot.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Nope! I make them up as I go along. Let me know where your character is and I'll put something for them to stumble upon. I'd advise against Mallside; I don't think people would appreciate a sudden cave or something in the shopping centre.

...Oddly enough, neither can I. I just remember that he'd be wary of dealing with her again.

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Deadtime now. Goodnight, sleep tight and don't get behind the Bonnacon, no matter what.
Also, I remember the weather thread, vaguely. I wouldn't mind it coming back.

Welcome back.

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Reinholdt, you'll find that Zane is not to be taken as a fool.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
There's a vast difference between being tricked and being a fool.
In fact, I believe there are studies showing there's an indirect correlation. The smarter someone is, the easier it is to trick them. Or so something I read on the internet once claimed.
Hmm... I wonder if I fell for it? :smallconfused:
But I'm not horribly concerned either way really.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
lol, anyways, Zane has an ability which is accelerated by the fear of others, but would consume him if he felt fear personally.

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I remember there was a Hunting Grounds thread before I left for a time. I'm guessing it is still up. Does anyone have a monster they want to pit against a pyromancer? Preferably something that is killable. Just like a random encounter. Either a small pack or one big foe.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
I have a Leannan Sidhe you could go after, since I don't care too much if she dies out there, seeing as she'll be brought back by the deity in charge of it.
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Alright then, which biome should I post in the Hunting grounds to encounter that?

She'll probably be skulking somewhere in the forest. Mountains would work too, though. Really, she might be found anywhere, but those are the two she's likeliest to be hunting in...

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
Forest it is then, I have the advantage there. Because Pyromancer. If that thing isn't fire-elemental anyway I'll post now.

Nope. She does use magic, though. I dunno if you were around then, but she was the one who put on the show with Elanna in Trog's a while back?

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
No I wasn't here then. I already posted in Hunting Grounds. Random Battle time. Speaking of random battles, does Rebonack still do the WARNING! random encounter thing?

When they're around, probably. I haven't seen them lately though, so unless we simply haven't crossed paths, you'll probably have a bit of a hard time getting one soon.

If your char would try to deal with her again we could go for it. Since I couldn't remember it she can't as well.^^

He might, I suppose. Where is she?
-
Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
She must be in her room, but we could assume she is in the main hall.

Works for me. Do you want to post first, or should I?

For good measure he makes the fireball slam down where both of them are. Fire doesn't hurt pyromancers.
Erm... You know that Kevlar is basically useless against knives, right? :smallconfused:

Re: [Nexus] OOC 35: Winter is Coming
No the ones I know about are the vests my brother in law let me wear. They have some really solid metal blocks in them. So i thought that if you'd stab me with that on in the back or front that it wouldn't work. I thought that was a kevlar vest. Anyway should i change it?

Bowling alley kitty would point out that meowing angrily at uppity two-legs was left out.

My char's an adventurer, he's not really into crowded areas, as he pretty much have no clue how to properly 'talk' to others normally. You could give me a plot in either the plains, forests, mountains, small towns, etc.

It is a proud hunter thank you very much. Stupid little mice and roaches run in fear! "Meow!"
