The necro- part is wrong, too, I'm afraid.
Necros means dead. Necrosis is a word derived from necros, but it has nothing to do with the word necromancer. (If that were the case, it would be "necrosomancer", and it isn't.)
As ScionoftheVoid said, a necromancer is someone who tells the future using the dead. (At least etymologically speaking. Which frankly isn't too much of a concern in a game that gave us the Book of Bad Latin. :smalltongue:)
P.S. Is "fairy snuff" a typo for "fair enough", or did you write it on purpose as a joke? Either way, it's awesomely surreal!

I'm going to be playing a human duskblade, male and either late twenties or early thirties. I'm looking for a picture of a good sword and shield using spellsword type, bonus points for having a storm or lightning theme. I don't really care abut hair colour etc.
Please no anime.
Thanks.
I've found a few, not all of them are sword and board, but they do fit the spellsword and storm theme fairly well
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
Greetings all, I need some help looking for my next character. I'm playing a Beguiler/Wizard/UM in a renaissance-ish setting. It is a homebrew world. I'm looking for a human or possibly gnome who looks like they fit in the renaissance, any gender. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The third one down will work pretty well, many thanks.

I can't believe there's honestly a thread -series of threads- like this....
I'd like to ask for help in finding an image, if at all possible. I'm looking for a venerable human female master. Google does not like listening to non-specific images. She'll be a Master of Nine. One of those Martial Arts Masters / Hermits. It'd be funny if, despite being counted as a medium creature, that her image and depiction note her to be a stereotypical "Miniature Senior Citizen".
Thank you anyone who tries. I wish I could find epic pictures like you guys...

that is a rather difficult one. these where the closest I could find but it dosen't really fit...
also, I'm surprised there's only 5 of these so far, rather than tht they exist. images are a central part of roleplaying games, and add a lot to the experience, as well as everyone enoying looking at nice pictures.

Some venerable art from M:TG. Not much from the Three Kingdoms set, though.
And then there's the Timeless Body feature to consider.
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I suppose my earlier requirements were a bit tight.... Lets see if I can be a bit clearer with the terms and such, and that it might be easier to find for it.
The Character needs to be Female.
The Character needs to have a Monkish Feel, with the Kung Fu (definitely can't have extravagant weapons, but Staffs are fine).
The Character must at least have hit about Middle Age, if not older.
The Character must appear at least Human, though some minor details in skin complection and size are okay (although no additional animal body parts or snouts or anything. Elf Ears are fine, though)..
I suppose, priority wise, Female>Older Age>Monkish=Humanoid. But I'm gratetful just for any possibilities I can get.
Vendle, in all but the second 2 spoilers, I can't see your images. ;.; Although of those 2, now that I stop and look, the first is pretty good. If nothing else works, I might see how that looks on a sheet and try to use it.
Thanks for trying, guys. I'm sorry if this is too specific to have any luck...
Random Comment: BlackestOfMages, that 3rd one is Drop Dead Gorgeous.
And while I certainly can agree to the importance of images... the title at the very least is kinda... interesting.
I heard something about a Lurker Tax. I was considering asking for a White Mage Image, involving a Young, Human Cutie with Long Red Hair and Green Eyes. But I found one.
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
First, two female monks that fail the age check, hence why I didn't put on here sooner.
And some more by Saehral, whose works I like quite a bit.
Girls
Guys.
I left the chick for last
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
My links are working fine for me, but the images are from a database website.
My search was just "Elder female Magic the Gathering". Good luck!

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
My fellow dreamboaters, I am distraught.
After an extensive search for a picture of a human bartender NPC for an Eberron game, I finally found the perfect face, build, and expression.
The only problem is, well, ... everything else.
Does anyone happen to have any pictures similar to that one of an unarmored fantasy world denizen?
Tax (Basically everything reaper78 does is glorious )
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
So we can request pictures in this thread? If so I need pictures of evil princesses. Doesn't have to be sexy or revealing, just a Princess that looks like she's going to order you executed then ask you for a tea party.
Edit: Should probably say, it doesn't have to be an actual "princess", an evil female aristocrat will do too. Also she should be young, like young adult age or at least look that age.

The first and fourth ones say "this image is not available". The fifth one is a broken link.

The planes walker one is very nice (and very big)
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I'm looking for a picture of a man covered with eyeball tattoos- bonus points if he's wearing a blindfold or is otherwise obviously blind, but this is not strictly necessary. Thank you for any help!
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
I'm looking for a picture of a sinister cloaked priest type. It's a fairly standard subject but I don't know where to look, haven't seen anything fitting in the D&D 3,5 sourcebooks I've searched in but I'm pretty sure it's there somewhere. I'd prefer an elaborate or an unusual cloak over something simple or tattered with the face obscured and an atmosphere befitting an evil cult.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
First one might be along the lines what you're looking for. The rest are just awesome.
Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats V: Snakes & Cakes
Ok, it's a video rather than an image, but I think this belong here.

Talking about superhuman feats and fiddles... Meet Máiréad Nesbitt.
(It gets best at around 2:30 when she starts to friggin' jump around while flawlessly playing what very much sounds like the Riverdance version of 'Flight of the Bumblebee'.)

Wow, what an interesting concept, let's see what I can come up with...
And of course there's always this guy
