"What? Oh, I don't mind if you call me by some title, as long as it's a good one."
He still needs to set up the link between him and his new followers so they can pray to him and tap into his energies(since the woman is a paladin). He needs to find a quiet place to do so, so he stands up and looks at his two new followers.
"I will be back later. I need to know first though if both of you were paladins or what."

I am a priest, sir. A man of religious magic. A cleric if you may.

"Huh, never had a cleric before. Guess that makes you head priest if you want to be my cleric."

A smile touches his face.
It would be my pleasure.

Sophie shakes her head. No, I don't think so. Catching people for tea parties is impolite, but not that bad. And you didn't know any better.

John smiled.
"Okay, I'll be back in here within an hour with your new stuff. I need to link you guys to me first so you can tap into my energies which I need quiet for."
He then disappeared in a shower of golden dust.

Cyndal nods and turns to his sister.

She doesn't notice in time to stop Ally, but she will try to enter as soon as she gets to the door!
Toby might almost prefer to be stabbed in his sleep than to have Brianna save him. :smalltongue:
Brianna will find Ally standing over the peacefully sleeping Druid. She doesn't even react to hearing the door open and Brianna step in. She just stares at Toby in surprise.

Tarin sits back, regarding her guest quizzically. "I must say, this has been such an enlightening conversation. I've learned so much today. "

I'm happy to help. Sophie smiles and nods. And you do make great tea, I have to say. She raises her cup and drinks the rest of the tea.

Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
Tarin beams rather proudly. "I'm glad you liked it so much." She glances at the sun as one might look at a timepiece. "Well, I'm afraid I have to run, but... maybe I could drop in some time and see you again?"
-
Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
Sure thing. I'll be glad to meet you again. I should be here next time you drop by. Hopefully Tarin will take what Sophie told her to heart.

Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
"Alright, then." A cloud blows down, and Tarin hops up on it. "Tata, dear! Stay interesting!" She says the last line in the same tone of voice most people would say, "stay safe."

Yes...
What if they come looking for us?

"Then what do you want? You wouldn't be here if you didn't want something."
Valaira counters, suspicious still the most prominent overtone in her voice.
Echo sighs. You see, he can only speak using words that someone near him has said. Valaira is not being particularly helpful in this regard.
He nods.
"Want something."

Infirmary
An hour later and John appears in the infirmary again. At the same time both Cyndal and his sister might feel a flow of energy become connected with them, allowing them to use the old cleric(or paladin) powers that they use to be able to use. With the exception of Cyndal and his sister being able to use a special spell to envocate John's wrath upon a creature.
John settles down in a chair.

Avisere smiles as he feels the power.
Do you feel that, brother?

I do sister. It's the feeling of us getting our lives back.

Echo might not find Valaira particularly helpful, then. She gets confused way too easily to be of much use in a situation like this. If he wanted an arm regenerated or some people beat up, Valaira would be the one to call. Matters of speech, however...
"Yeah. I gathered as much. Go on. Say what you want."
Case and point! Valaira is utterly unhelpful in this capacity.

Helping the weak... Wasn't that why we became who we are in the first place?

Re: [Nexus] GLoG 76: Now With a Decipherable OP!
We wanted to.
I don't think we ever really did, we just locked ourselves in the temple.

We were just as self-righteous as everyone else then.
