Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
(whydid magtok say that...was he trying to mislead, was he trying to gode us into pointing that way, was it to simply test a reaction, was he mucking with us all? I don't know. I propose that we lynch Hitchhiker and if he turns out to be a normal citizen, then we shall ask Mr Magtok for an explanation. However, I believe this game has Classic Australian Werewolf seer rules so Kidd would be investigated as an innocent. )

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
The young man in the ratty uniform trudges down the street and leans against a store front again. He stands there and listens to people argue and hurl suspicions, and only because he feels he is forced to does he tip his hat in the direction of Brett Induriank.

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
Decken stands up.
"Reminds me of ol' Doorknob Dan.
We always thought he were a strange feller, ah tell ye, what with his unusual hobbies, but his other hobbies came as a reaaal shock, aye. Well, he made a slight trip o' the tongue, 'bout his new watch. We hadn' had no real plunder in weeks, so we all wondered. The Cap'n's watch had gone 'missing' not two days earlier, and it turned out t' be in Dan's trunk...S' we chucked 'im o'er the rail, an' ne'er thought more of it...
Aaaaaanyway..
*nods at The Crazy Prospector*
(Just a precaution against auto-lynching really. Most arguments so far seem... tenuous.)
Aye, you there. Got any baccy on you? Me pipe's near empty now."

Kyrian points at Indurain. A trusted source spoke to me about this, so Indy, I blame you for stealing my flux capacitor!

Hearing the talk coming from the other villagers. "You sure do seem to know a lot about the ways of banditry sir..." He says, pointing at Shadow.
Indurain and Cobra Ikari, both pointed at the same person in rapid succession. Prior to this no real bandwagon had formed, but both of their points quickly led to Shadow being lynched. I therefore believe that Indurain is an outlaw. Its certainly better evidence than that against Hitchhiker.
I point at Indurain

Seeing the many votes for Indurick, Hitch nods silently as he waters his horse. Turning to Inky, he listens to the brief speech, then nods. "It makes sense...until other evidence presents itself, or Indurick himself opposes the idea, I'd say he seems the likely suspect."
Hitch nods in Indy's general direction.

I have nothing to do with that man. Other than an apparent shared dislike of the Shadowy one.

Brett stands up, preferring to go out with dignity, though he has a feeling it won't end that way.
"And Ms. Alarrabelle, you held your breath. You tend to breath heavily when you're excited." Brett winks at the lady as the townsfolk begin to drag him away.

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
I tell you, I’m no thief. What do I need money for, when I can just win it off you all anytime I like. Tell you what, for the first hour of poker, I’ll lose every hand.
Indurick sits back down to play some more hands, but the pointing proves to be too much a distraction.
Fine look, you can see I’m not winning, here’s my deuce seven off suit cards and OH MY GOSH LOOK OVER THERE!
He points to something behind the crowd. They turn, and Indurick pulls his gun. He shoots Firepup in the chest, then ducks behind the bar. The following gunfight also takes the lives of psychoduck14, Raistlin1040, Saurous, and Vespe Ratavo before the empty click of Indurick’s gun is heard. Next he runs from behind the bar and hops on Mr. Fluffers.
Giddyap!
The llama doesn’t move.
Giddyap I say.
The llama bends it neck down to chew on some grass making it’s way through the wooden sidewalk in town.
*sigh*
The town, infuriated by the trick and the shootings, surround him.
You want to ride on Mr. Fluffers eh? Well we can arrange that.
The grabs the reins of the llama, and bring them out into the desert. The tie up Indurick, and hang a noose from the tree placing it around his neck.
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1.../indurian6.gif
The crowd heads back to town, leaving Mr. Fluffers and Indurick out in the desert.
Mr. Fluffers gives Indurick a look, as if to say “Why am I here with you?” Then the llama takes a step back to town.
Whoa, WHOA! Partner. Hang on a sec, there’s no reason we can’t be civil about this, is there?
The llama gives him another look, this time the message is clear. “I ain’t your partner.”
As Indurick falls off the llama, a loud snap is heard. The tree branch breaks. Indurick hits the ground hard, but with his airway still intact.
http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f1...erickLlama.gif
Thank you. Whoever is up above, thank yOAAAAAUUUGGH!.
The llama, hearing the branch break, is startled, and runs off into the desert with Indurick dragging behind him, running him into every rock, tree, and cactus it finds. A short while later, the llama heads back into town, dragging behind it the dead body of Indurick. Rummaging through what was left of his clothes er, what he held in his hands, you find a battered worn Wanted poster.
Quote:
Wanted, Indurick, for his involvement in the shootout at Trog’s Tavern. This outlaw may be seen swooning women, cheating at poker, streaking through the square, and impersonating a darn good looking fellow. Anyone with any information on Indurick should contact their local Marshall. Reward 10 gold coins.
Indurick – an Outlaw – was ….um….hanged/dragged-in-a-cruel-manner-through-the-desert to death?
Firepup, Psychoduck14, Raistlin1040, and Saurous were autolynched. They were all townspeople (villagers.)
Vespe Ratavo was autolynched. He was a member of the Posse (mason)
A big thank you to Ceika for the wonderful art to illustrate this death scene and credit to Indurain for helping script this scene. Please note that even though the scene also featured a "Mr Fluffers" that this in no way is indicative of Atreyu's roll. Please do not alter your opinion based on this scene. Day Ends.
Night Begins and will end Thursday at noon forum time. Those with night actions, please PM them to Raldor and myself before then.

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
"Ah told you 'e was squirrely! Jus' like the Kidd!"
He went real quiet as he spotted something at the treeline, then lurched forward, folding the rifle and bringing the butt to his shoulder; pulling the trigger as soon as the barrel was braced by the Saloon window.
Off in the distance, a poor unsuspecting squirrel chewing a nut on a stump suffered from a case of explosive head syndrome, brought on by a bullet.
"Tarnation .. them squirrelies keep gettin' closer!"

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
In the middle of the night, after the saloon has closed, the only light that shines is that of the twenty four hour Laundromat. Shadows can be seen passing in front of the lighted windows. Moments pass, then the same shadows are seen again passing in the opposite direction, this time carrying something large..
As the town wakes up, nothing seems out of the ordinary, at first. As you walk down main street, the careful observer will notice the door to the Laundromat swinging with the wind. Worried, you rush over and look inside.
Nothing is out of place, except for Zar Peter, who is tied up and gagged. You rush over to untie him.
Sunova! Dem Bandits steel from me. From ME! They took all my gold and also my washtub. Dunno what dey want with that. Perhaps they try to launder money?
You help Zar Peter get up and head back outside to look around.
The rest of the town seems quiet. The silence is broken, and people notice a low rumbling coming from the railroad tracks nearby. At first, no one thinks anything of it. *WHOOOOO!* the train whistle blows. You glance down at your pocket-watch. That’s odd, the train isn’t supposed to depart for a few hours. Others notice that the train is still picking up speed. A lot of speed. Then there's a muffled explosion and a plume of green smoke coming from the train.
Several of the townspeople mount their horses and take after the train for two reasons. One, it’s headed down the wrong track and two, because they know that the bridge across the un-named ravine hasn't been completed yet on that track, and that train's goin' awful fast like. Another explosion sounds and a plume of yellow smoke shoots into the sky. Those mounted are racing their horses as fast as they'll go to try and catch up, but it's losing battle. They realize they can't overtake it, so they head for Coyote Pass to try to head it off.
Another explosion and red smoke issues forth from the train as the pursuers get to the pass too late. The train is racing faster than anyone thought possible. And there's a ... metal wedge on wheels in front of it? Too late for speculation, the train and whatever it's pushing go off the bridge and into the ravine, suspended in air for cinematic effect for a few seconds, before making a fantastic wreckage at the bottom. Surely no one could have survived that.
When the townspeople finally get down to the pile of twisted metal they search for bodies. Doc Brown was talking about some sort of experiment with the train; this must have been how it got going so fast. But Doc would never have attempted it without his that flux capacitor. He said so yesterday at the saloon yesterday, before he went on a rant about the future and people running for fun and such. No, someone else was behind this. Here's his duster. Inside the wedge shaped thing. In the breast pocket is a note. It reads
Quote:
I like to get my killin' done before breakfast. The Kidd
Zar Peter, was robbed of 3 gold coins and the washtub used for his laundry.
Kyrian, a member of the Posse (Masons) was killed last by the outlaws.
((The Outlaws have scripted this fine scene of Kyrian's departure for your amusment. Be sure to acknowledge there work when the game is over.))
Bandits now have 31% of the town’s money. Day 4 begins - will last 48 hours, and therefore will end on Saturday – High Noon Forum Time.
*Mid Game Gift* You may now transfer money at any time, day or night. PM Raldor, Supagoof, and the person you are transferring money too. Why? - Because we cleaned out our PM boxes. :smalltongue:

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
Castaras twirls her gun, thinking out loud.
So if I was a bandit in this li'l town here...where would I go?
She walks down the street, heels clicking on the cobbles.
I would walk down the streets and to the bank...
She slowly walks to the bank, and turns to look at the people crowded round. She sighs.
Guess I'm not up to this. How could a quiet li'l town like this one become so crowded with people?

Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
Alarrabelle doesn't see why you all are pointing at EK. She *points at Ink I believe EK to be innocent. Nothing against you Ink, but I've no evidence anywhere, so you're my choice for the moment.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
(hmmm....I don't wanna point against ink simply for pointing first, but I wanna hear EK's comments. Hmmmmmm...Serlahc is dead and Exy isn't here. BUGGER!)
*The llama starts rummaging through Zar Peter's laundry looking to see what he can find. He pulls out some of Allarabelle's undergarments and points a hoof at Zar Peter. The hoof is dangling some of the evidence off of it.*
(no reason....I'm just mucking around)
-

Hmm. I don't believe you EK. I'd like to see one of these alleged "those" confirm that you are a citizen.
I point at EK
Personally, I think your a bandit.

Alarrabelle not hold her breath this time. But Mongo not sure why she points at Ink now either.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
I've changed my mind.
I think Cobra Ikari is an outlaw. On the first day he points at Kyrian, who was a member of the posse. On the second day, he and Indurain (an outlaw for those who forgot) both point at shadow, thus kicking off the killing of Shadow, a townsperson.
This is much more evidence than that for EK, who's only evidence is that he pointed at Hitchhiker, who might well be an outlaw or bandit for all we know.
I point at Cobra Ikari (clarification)
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
((I don't remember what color I used for speech...hopefully, this one.))
I'm an outlaw...because I pointed at Kyrian, who I don't like much and didn't know was a posse member at the time. I'm an outlaw...because I pointed at Shadow, who has proven to be devious and cunning as an enemy of right in the past. I had nothing to do with Indurain...
Your "logic" is based off people pointing and ending up wrong? I am in awe of your brilliance.
He spits at inky.
I've no taste for people like you.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
Those who know my innocence, please, step forward for my defense, as I have no evidence I can offer. I will follow Inky's lead and point at Cobra.

Mongo think Alarrabelle speak up for EK. If EK good, then Ink must be not good for wanting to hurt him.

At this point, I have no reason not to believe EK. Spins chamber on his six shooter, and points the gun at Cobra. But, I do think there is enough evidence against you.
-
Re: Ye Olde West. (Game officially underway)
What "evidence"? This is ridiculous. Being unlucky or wrong with points is now evidence? Happening to point at a similar time as someone in town I never talked to is evidence? That, my friend, is no evidence, just a steaming pile of ********.
