I love the art. Some are genuinely creepy (dracolich!), and the Hobgoblin noncombatants made me go "Aww" :smallfrown:

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
they look even better than the previous one.
I only wish those sheets had come earlier, as they contain the vast majority of the enemies I used in my campaign in the last 9 months.

I dunno, I don't want to fight him (at least not with real weapons), but the child non-combatant is adorable!
Also, I love that Dracula (as played by Bela Lugosi), Nosferatu, and Strahd are all represented in the Vampire section.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Hey everyone! I was a funder way back when during the Kickstarter. At the time I was College Student.but I've since graduated. I'm pretty sure that when the next pdf is uploaded the link is going to be sent to my college email that I no longer have access to. My kickstarter was tied to that email as well, so I'm not sure I can change it there either. What should I do?

How can I change the email address associated with my account?
Not a problem! Just head over to
your account page to update your email.
There's an example image at the page which won't display here.
Hope this helps.

Since the links are only sent via the Kickstarter updates, even if you can't access this email, as long as you can access your Kickstarter account, you can also just view them directly on Kickstarter.
If you can't access your Kickstarter account either (or you can't change the email without having access to it), then you should contact Kickstarter support on how to deal with the situation.

I was able to adjust my email via kickstarter! Thanks everyone!

My S.O. keeps bees, so the giant bee queen (scaled and proportions altered appropriately - but with a crown!) was my favourite.
Also, not really an easter egg, per se, but did anyone else notice that there's a skeletal lich, a huecuva, an eye of fear and flame, and a death knight (actually, two) all on the same page? And that they're all very well-drawn to be distinguishable? ;)

Thanks for the Wallpaper! Beautiful!

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
New update is glorious. I love the serenity, and I'm practically hopping in excitement over how close the O-Chul story is to fruition. Love me some Workometer.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Hey, with short notice I've recently started DMing a game, and the monster PDFs have been a lot of fun for the players so far. I don't know if The Author takes requests, but if he does, I'd love a bugbear or two! Matt Colville haircut not required, but appreciated.
Thanks!

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
We're well past the 24th. Honestly even an update saying there won't be an update would have been appreciated.

Hmm, I had remembered the date as the 26th, but I guess you are right. Oh well, I'm sure there will be an update eventually.

Someday...someday. Maybe. Hopefully?

At the very least, Order of the Stick is not A Song of Ice and Fire. Reader lifespan aside, thankfully Mr. Burlew seems to be in generally alright health -- G.R.R. Martin, on the other hand, makes me nervous.

On the subject of GoT, my theory is that GRRM has actually given up on finishing the books. He's always had trouble writing them, compared to the Wild Cards books which he can crank out in no time.
I suspect he never finishes another GoT book himself, instead seeing the TV show through to the end. After that's wrapped up, I bet he goes back to his old notes, "partners" with another writer to finish the series. Which means GRRM just hands the screenplays and all his notes over to them, lets them bang the whole thing out, then sits down and edits the hell out of it until it can be broken up into the appropriate number of books to conclude the series and more or less feels like GRRM's writing.
The good news being that it means the *book series* would eventually be finished, probably. The bad news is that it'll probably be like 5-7 years until that happens. Which is still faster than he'd have written them himself, but is still pretty slow.

Kickstarter Update
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, but I saw that there was an update for the kickstarter planned for the 24th of this month, and that was a few days ago. Did I miss something/has there been any word?

Re: Kickstarter Update
My hope is that he's in a mad dash to finish the O-Chul story and will pop back up when it's finished, in which case all is forgiven.

It's an O-Chul story, so we'll just have to endure the wait.

Yeah. I think people are pretty understanding if they feel like they're being treated well in turn. But no update at all is rather ominous.

He just posted four tweets in which he says that this is pretty much exactly what's been going on. No story just yet, but in a few days hopefully.

Hey. So obviously I've been out of touch for a bit. Back now, trying to get on top of things that slid.
I need to finish off O-Chul story for the Kickstarter backers, which I need a few more days...this week? Maybe?...and then a regular comic.
Once O-Chul's done I'll be able to focus on the main strip again for a bit.
Thanks to everyone who's sent their support during all of this.

Re: The Post-Kickstarter Discussion Thread: Bask in the Afterglow
Hey, so the O-Chul story is available now, check your inbox if you're a Kickstarter backer.
I'm going to start a new spoiler thread for discussion of the story itself.

Not a Kickstarter backer here (came along waaaay too late for that), but very well done sir! Sounds like the lucky readers love it.

I have a question...
So I backed the Kickstarter, but during the passing years I have been locked out of the email that contained the relevant information. I didn't think about the Kickstarter at the time (I was too focused on Microsoft's bad customer service policies), and it has been long enough now that I can't remember what I am supposed to do to correct this.
How do I establish a new email so I can receive the remaining Kickstarter content?
Is there a more appropriate thread I should be posting in?
