Will get to it. Lazy week.

*head thuds on table*
Urgh. Busy week.
Kuroi/Strawberry, if you want to do some stuff involving the twins, I'm up for it.
I'm up for it.
Have you picked your training montage song yet?
I think you're underestimating Shinji if you think that he didn't set down some ground rules about keeping the girl that murdered the twin's grandmother and put their mother in a wheelchair away from them. :smalltongue:
At least that's the impression Kuroi gave me.
Indeed.
Neither party is aware of it right now, but the attendants they ran into were not there by coincidence. Shinji actually set up a rotating roster to maintain the illusion otherwise, but the fact is that they're both being reasonably monitored at this point so that they won't have awkward encounters.
You know that motherly attendant, whose name nobody ever asked? She's one of a very small number actually allowed to interact with both parties. She was also picked for a very special reason, which I hope either of you will be intrigued enough to look into.
And yes, Shinji actually thought ahead regarding these interactions. He's the descendant of a court magician with a divination specialty, after all. :smalltongue:
Don't get me wrong, I'd love the opportunity. But I just don't think it's happening. The twins don't even know she's there, to my knowledge, or who she is. And vice versa for Yoshiro and Misaki. I don't foresee it coming up, either. :smalltongue:
In other news, Chouko continues to win the game.
Well, it'll likely come up at some point, just not soon. :smalltongue::smallamused:
Actually, Yoshiro and Misaki were both at the same room as Yuina before crap hit the fan, so they know Yuina is in the Kuzunoha's custody.
It's up in the air whether either Yoshiro or Misaki know who the twins are (Misaki would have a shot, because they're secondary targets, but then again they could be presumed dead at this point because they had been missing for months). But the twins have no clue, and either way they're being kept separated just in case. :smalltongue:
Incidentally strawbs, if you want to have Shizuka talk to anybody who isn't Yoshiro later, Doc Tobioka would be willing to listen to her. He might actually go looking for her to congratulate her response on that makeshift sling. :smallwink:
I know they know Yuina is there. :smalltongue: Just not the twins! And yeah, Misaki probably knows who they are, at least. Still pretty much a case of either party not knowing about the other.
I'll get to my next bulk post for them soon, right now it'd involve doubleposting or editing it in.
Well, what I'm saying is, a confrontation could be fun! Depending on how she behaves, the outcome might be unexpected! :smalltongue:
Anyway, yeah, I'm ready for the Training Sequence. :smalltongue:
Training music is probably something from Assassin's Creed. Possibly Brotherhood, considering the state of the Akiyama right now. :smallwink:
Oh sure. THAT'S gonna happen.
Margrave would turn them into gunslinger girls before that. :smalltongue:
EDIT: I'll wait on MV's response to Margrave's deflection first.
*twiddles thumbs*
So, check-up time:
-Koutarou is waiting for Jehoel to wax exposition on Haven.
-Shinji is waiting for the kids to return from Naito's mindscape.
-Setsurou is waiting for whatever next needs his attention to happen. Also, bringing Momoka newspapers. (If Satoshi doesn't stop that riot, Setsurou will eventually step in.)
-Ryouma is kinda-sorta trying to decapitate a serpent construct from the inside out withDiamond Dustsupercooled air.
-Hasunaga is wondering why the heck these stupid kids get in so much trouble.
-Toki is going to get to training the girls in a minute. (Yeah, he's technically an NPC, but he has a function in the story too.)
Unless Masaru wants to get together with Setsurou to discusstreacherous plotthe next step in operation Suikoden (he has yet to ask why Setsurou named it that), I think I'm only waiting on reactions from people.
EDIT: Mahonri, do you want Hasunaga to bump into Miya?
The halo also works much like Quilge Opie's when Sklaverei was introduced in canon, but Niklaus doesn't read contemporary Japanese comics. That would've been too weird. :smalltongue:
So yeah, it's been a while since I last posted...I've got to admit, I'm not sure I'm going to become active again any time soon, either, what with work and other interests outside GitP demanding my attention. I do feel like I should finish up the fight scene at the Koutetsu compound, but I think Satoshi's going to fade into the background for a while after that...Anyway, I'll try to get something posted in the next day or so.
So, my last post is a chance for Naito, Chuck & Co to meet some members of ZH who are not murderous androids. Or, they can get out of the way just in time to avoid the recon party. Either works for me.
It's also possible for Miya & Hasunaga to spot some suspicuous movement and find their way to the quarry.
Margrave will be moved to some nice cold basement somewhere. I'll get to his interrogation in my next post after Caeyrn has acknowledged his orders.
I'm just waiting for you guys to resume normal consciousness.
I must've missed that. Sorry.
EDIT: And here's the twist I promised. MORE DRAMA TO FOLLOW.
Saw this game from Frozen Feet's signature, so looked over the OOC. Saw mention of Final Bosses and stuff, so is this game almost over? Should I read all the OOC and game threads? Kinda lost but interested.
No, I am fairly positive that is quite a way down the road.
Indeed. We're still discussing what the endgame could reasonably be. Still plenty of fun to be had.
I see. Taking a quick look it seems there's 136 pages of Spirit World and Mortal World (I guess Hollow and Shinigami characters are in one and everything else in the other?) and Six OOC threads so well over 400 pages of content to read. Is there any way a potential new player could get a story line run down without having to read a novel? Not that I'm against it per say but that's a lot of information to go through and I don't have that kind of free time.
Do you want the bullet points EXTREME! short version, or will a slightly longer but slightly more detailed version do?
