Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Being that this is the first day and everything, I shall remind those who have read, and tell those who have not read, the rules on striking though your votes.
It is appreciated, but not necessary. I will count your last vote for the final tally at End of Day.
~ This has been a public pixie announcement.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Sigh. If only the guy with the "Detect werewolves" spell could reveal him/herself. Without getting eaten or mistaken for the fool, I mean. Or being the fool.

Nah, why would I reveal myself to the wolves like that? I'd just get voided if I do after all.
Of course, I'm totally not the seer and I most certainly ain't the baner either so it's absolutely safe to just leave me alone guys.

Tiebreaking and tiemaking at the same time. Logic, what's your opinion on the top wagons today?
Let me start by saying I have an earlier vote on Luizeu for a reason.
That being said, the other options are: Xihirli, who always looks wolfish, no matter what team or role he has. Ramsus who hasn't given me any indication he's a wolf, though he is a tad quieter compared to usual.
Duck might be a good candidate, if my hunch that Luizeu started a third wagon to save a wolf buddy, but I'm not sure about that just yet. If that is the case, I think that more or less clears Ramsus. Zar Peter is in the same boat as Duck for similar reasons, but that begins to cast a shadow of doubt over you, Murska. As for defending myself, I don't really know what to say. I made one post that I edited immediately after I put 3 more seconds of thought into it. I'd normally not call that suspicious.
EDIT: I realize an error in logic in the statement above. I am getting my WIFOM confused. Let me think on it some more.
EDIT 2: You were the first to cast a second vote for someone, and it was for Zar Peter. Luizeu made a third 2-man wagon on Ramsus without any justification, which looks shady to me. Cuthalion and Necrochicken made a 4th 2-man wagon on me, and I have been offline in the interim until this initial (unedited) post.
EDIT 3: The vote tally, feel free to correct me if I am wrong:
- Duck999 – 1 –
Fleeing Coward, Syldar, Zar Peter - Zar Peter – 1 – Ramsus,
Murska, necrochicken, Xihirli, - Ramsus – 4 – Pelican, Luizeu, Maleceptor, Fleeing Coward,
- Luizeu – 5 – Logic, Bladescape, Duck999, Zar Peter, Xihirli,
- Logic – 2 –
Cuthalion, necrochicken, Flaming Eagle, Murska, necrochicken - Pelican –1 – ThePhantom
- Thematthew –1 – Elenna
- Necrochicken – 1 – AvatarVecna
- Xihirli – 3 – Cuthalion, Flaming Eagle, JohnTheSavage

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
What a weird day 1. All of you guys and your vote switching. :smalltongue:
Going to point at Ramsus to cause another tie.

You know this is day 1, right? Like many today I gave no justification. You putting so much thought in it makes me think you have ulterior motives.
So far, your actions and this sudden wagon on Xihirli look weird to me.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
To answer your question (well, observation) Logic, I've been quiet because I wanted to see if the wagon would just go away on it's own without me doing anything*. Also giving FC the chance to pull off on his own to maybe even make the slightest attempt at proving he doesn't have to compulsively vote for me/try to get me killed in every single game we're in and could maybe just maybe have put in a little effort to avoid us having more drama instead of forcing all the work of avoiding our having confrontations onto me. But of course not. Why would he do that?
So yeah, I guess by now Luizeu would have claimed something if he is something...maybe. Well ok, whatever. He hasn't claimed anything, he's already on my wagon, his is the other biggest wagon, and I don't want to get lynched quite yet. Hope that's enough justification for my vote.
Edit: *Because 50% of the time I defend myself people make a big deal about how I'm being "too defensive" and then use that as an excuse to try and convince more people to lynch me.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
So,
Logic, Bladescape, Duck999, Zar Peter, Xihirli,
since you decided to Kill a vanillager on Day 1, let's try to make this more productive to town. Who else would you be willing to vote if you were not voting on me?
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Ramsus, because ties are funny.

Ok, I admit it. My sole purpose in every game is to get Ramsus killed. It's what gives my life meaning.
I would also like to confess to shooting JFK, faking the moon landing and killing Bambi's mother.

You forgot about inspiring Hitler to become a politician, providing funding for Donald Trump's presidential campaign, inventing toilet seats that can't be put down, and introducing the drow race to the concept of feminism.

How many times must I tell you? Our CHIEF DEITY is a goddess! Also, no one can tell the difference anyway! Feminism isn't exactly a new concept to us!
AvatarVecna for libel.

AvatarVecna for libel.
Finally, a vote with some sense of logic behind it; that's a vote I can get behind! Vote for Mayor for mayor AvatarVecna Luizeu!
Bonus vote if you get the reference I just made.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
"Sorry I'm late to the party."
A tallish man in armor slips into the room. "I had business elsewhere."
He looks around. He points at AvatarVecna. "What do you have to day in your defense?"
(As has been pointed out... libel...)

Ah, I never said I was referring to the drow of Faerun! Obviously, nobody ever introduced those drow to feminism, it was literally built into them by their goddess, the elf god's jealous ex (or so says surface elf propaganda). I was referring to the drow that inhabit Xen'drik in the Eberron universe.

Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
@FC: You can be sarcastic about it all you want. You're still voting for me day 1 when you know it's not a good idea for you personally to do so if your interest is avoiding drama. You're certainly not going to convince me of anything using words when your actions speak otherwise.
Edit: *briefly wonders what the drow society of Dark Sun is like* *stops wondering because he realizes they're probably just all dead because mushrooms aren't going to grow very well in an environment lacking moisture*

You're the one turning this into unnecessary drama by treating every vote so personally.
Someone has to be lynched day 1, why can't it be you?
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Are you too wolves and you want to distance yourselves? It sure looks like it
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Changing my vote to Luizeu because his "I want to join a wagon" post struck me as off, and because as far as I can tell there is absolutely no reason to think Ramsus is a wolf.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I'd like to address something that is important for everybody.
Learn from your mistakes, guys.
Remember on the two towers? Players let the inactives for last, look how the days dragged and (the last days) werent Fun for anyone?
So, why dont we start killing inactives on this game?
I guess everybody would Win.
I'm willing to target inactives if you guys get off my back today. What do you guys think?
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Lynching inactives is just a waste of a lynch. All I'm seeing is you digging yourself deeper into a hole with every post Luizeu.
Probably means you're not a wolf or mason since I'm sure your teammates would have told you that you'd have a better chance of surviving if you posted less if you were :smalltongue:

Yeah, and the wolves won.
That's why I'm suggesting a change of strategy

This is what I'm trying to change. What I've been noticing from the games here is that we let inactives go until mid game, end game just because they are inactives and their lynch would be "a waste" .
That's how many wolves from the last game I played here survived until the end. I guess it's late now to everybody change their votes, but this has been going on for some time. And I wanted to voice it
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Apart from the fact that lynching inactives is always a losing play for town, we can't lynch inactives when it's day 1.

The reason lynching inactives is a waste is because it provides no useful information for town to analyse which is a waste of a day and essentially gives the wolves a free kill. There's also the fact that most inactives are going to be villagers because power roles are always going to be more invested in the game.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Next best thing is people with 0, 1 or 2 posts.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Lynching inactives is not a great idea on Day 1, mostly because some people probably haven't realized the game has started, things like that. Either way.
On the other hand, FC, people with few posts are actively hurting town. Either they're a wolf floating under the radar or they're not helping town. So they should be disposed of at some point. You get more out of active players, they're more likely to flinch or provide information.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
I'm fine with lynching inactives, especially if there aren't many other suspects. However, as other people have said, you can't tell who will be inactive on day 1.
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
If you really want to save yourself, instead of saying "let's lynch anyone else that's not me", which is what you're doing at the moment, I'd advise that you give us a good case against specific people you find suspicious since that's much more useful to us than tossing accusations at everyone.

People with few posts ain't inactives though and they usually are dealt with eventually. Luizeu's example of two towers - those people he claim cost village the game should have been auto'd and if they had been auto'd, village might actually have won since one of the autos would have been a wolf (If Sprig auto'd with Mythaos, Duck gets lynched since wolves can't brute force last day and it'd have been down to a Lex v 2 villagers situation)
-
Re: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
False. Mythaos was a villager and Sprig was a wolf.
Hum. I misread what you said. nevermind
I'd be willing to change to Silent_Interim, who was very active while playing with xihirli before the game started and suddenly stopped posting so frequently.
- - - Updated - - -
This is everyone on my low post list who have posted at least twice from WW Two towers on Day 2
Sprig 2
Indarra 2
Thematthew 2
Pelican 3
Duck 3
Sangenkai 4
Zar Peter 4
Lex 4
3 wolves out of 8.
I guess that says something.
