Yeah, I've noticed that. I've started doing it when I don't think the answer is immediately obvious by looking at the strip (when I remember to).

It's uncertain if this gold is being used to purchase a certain item, but aforementioned certain item certainly has more than one person certain they wish to purchase it.
Recently spent on a Teleportation Orb.

It was a similar activity in addition to the same time frame.

This is eight weeks, but do you consider two months to be the same?

Yes, they would be equivalent.
24 hour hint added above.

Roy's Archon climbing to the first level of the Celestial Mountain, while accompanying Roy? </ruleslawyer>

Har har har, but nope. Roy's Archon flies/levitates, it lacks the capacity for climbing, so get rules lawyered right back!
I'm legitimately surprised this one ran out the timer. The answer is, just as it took Roy eight weeks to climb the mountain, it takes a piercer eight weeks to climb a big chamber's wall. Franklin and Roy would have reached their destinations at the same time if they were climbing concurrently.
Open question!

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Oh damn, and there it was, plain as day!
Find me a speech balloon in which 30 or more words are spoken with no punctuation between them (punctuation after the 30th word is allowed). Contractions (like hasn't) count as one word, and these symbols count as punctuation: . , : ; ? !

Do I take it that it wasn't your intended answer?
How about taking eight weeks to arrange a wedding after getting pregnant?

"My evil twin brother ..."
A lot of words unbroken by punctuation. You don't specify hyphens as punctuation, but even if you do, there's more than 30 words in sequence.
OQ.

It wasn't even my question. :smalltongue:
Hyphens are cool. I debated including them - for cases where they are used like this - but decided against it. OQ indeed.

I'll take the OQ then.
Show me a divine quiddity changing color as a result of circumstances in the page in question.

Find me three different characters with a trophy consisting of the head of a slain plantie in their hair. That's one or more flowers. It has to have, you know, petals and stuff. Vines and the like won't suffice.
Maybe I should have saved this question until Meta gave me a reason to exact revenge, but the show must go on too, you know?

You know, i was so sure it was in hrr hair i didnt even think to look at the specific panel when i was searching for the strip. Whoops. At least the plantie got it.
ETA: Taking the open question. Find me an otherwise normal speech balloon, except instead of black on white, its blue on white.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
So, wait, we don't need the mass murderer at the bottom of page 1 to complete the set of 3 flowers in hair?
Gotta say, that puts fertility goddesses in a new light for me.

She's probably growing those plants in her hair, rather than severing them to decorate with. Fertility is not limited to animals and sentients, it applies to plants too.
Anyway!
Show me an action undertaken explicitly with passionate sorrow.
EDIT: After answering Peelee above first, whoops.

I would like to thoroughly apologize and withdraw my unintended implication that plants were incapable of sentience.

Dropping the 24 hour hint a bit early, as I will be busy:
Spoiler
Show
both the passion and the sorrow of this action-taker are tied to its reason for being.

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Is it gaining a new port city?
Not sure if this is right.
OQ if correct.

Whelp, it's an hour short, but I won't be available when the timer properly runs out. The action in question is passionate and sorrowful chanting/singing, due to the modron's entire purpose for existing.
Open question!

Re: Order of the Stick Trivia XXIV: What do I need a twenty for, anyway?
Heh. That was pretty clever, actually! It's too bad that it ran straight into the weekend languor.
