I don't think those count.
Pretty sure he's refering to the hair dye, dear sir.
And yha, no money. Money's kind of important for the whole "become Prime Minster" thing.

Ah.
I'd finance this if only to see the results from an hemisphere away. Probably would have to sell another one of the souls I've gotten but would totally be worth it.

Lots of new people! Only 2 people that I knew from last year. (I'm in the same dorm again.) So there were introductions. I was really nervous but introduced myself as Lena and said that if they were wondering why I had a girl name it's because I'm transgender. No big deal was made out of it. Conversation moved on pretty much immediately though cause there was tons of stuff to sort out with all the new people so I'm not 100 % sure if they fully got it. -.-;
But my name is noted down as Lena on the mailing list and on the little paper at the door that has the morse codes on it that you use for the doorbell to let specific people know that you are there for them. So yay~

Don't worry, if anyone is going to make a deal of it, it'll happen sooner rather then later, and will be dealt with quite easily, since I'm going to assume that your other dorm mates approve of it all, otherwise those who already knew might not of returned.
Also, that morse code idea is actually really ingenious.

Re: Mynxae's Maliciously Magnificent Random Banter #183
It's amazing what one can accomplish when one has absolutely nothing else to do.
In other words, I can now speak fluent Frisian, play the ocarina, recite the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, do a handstand and have just finished drawing a pony version of a dark templar.
Actually, only the last one is true. The others are merely ideas of what I could have done.
Actually, I did manage to stave of insanity because I had a friend over and fed off his sanity via wisdom drain.
In other, relevant news, I may soon have a job if I'm lucky.

YES! It's back up again! I was starting to get really restless there. It's a good thing I've got friends at Uni to hang with in the days, because otherwise I probably would've gone insane and fled out in the dark forest to live as a hermit. Also, I acquired myself two new games just before the forum went down (but I've only tried one so far), so I've managed to completely waste my time with great efficiency nevertheless.
Also, I loved the message saying "If all goes well, the forum could be down for several hours". I suppose all didn't go well the first time. :smallwink::smallamused:

Speaking of lab assistents, I've applied for becoming one in the programming course the freshmen are going to have, starting later this autumn and going on for ~4 months. What part of it? Actively working toward getting myself failed (don't worry, I passed)? Or becoming a hermit, perhaps? :smallwink:
And the games were Master of Magic (old game, pretty similar to Civ, much of the inspiration for Fall from Heaven, pretty fun) and FTL (which is the one I haven't tried yet).

You're actually mostly spot-on. We do indeed have a penchant for the minimalistic, while we at the same time romantise the typical Falun red cottages with white corners of the countryside. And don't worry about associating Sweden with IKEA, it's deeply rooted as a part of our culture by now.

In other news I have just had fried bologna for the first time just yesterday and then actually did it properly I think a few minutes ago in a pretzel roll breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, tomato, and sweet onion.
Fried Bologna is infinitely superior to regular bologna. Why did my childhood not get that instead? It's not like it even makes it that much unhealthier since you only need oil if it's a nonstick pan and even then you can use that spray which minimizes lipid necessity.
Now I have to wonder if anything of this benefit extends to actual proper sausage-meats such as Lebanon Bologna or a proper Salami.
Now I want Lebanon Bologna, but I don't know where to acquire Amish goods in this town. :smallfrown:
In further other news, I found out that the idea my brosky and I had has already been done by the imitable Egoraptor and Jontron duo in the form of Game Grumps, Vava-Zodi.

Re: Mynxae's Maliciously Magnificent Random Banter #183
I have exciting news, Playgrounders. Last Wednesday after I got done playing I was approached by an independent film producer who wants me to sing in his movie if he ever gets the money to do his movie! Just think, I could go from singing in a coffeehouse that nobody goes to to singing in a movie that no one will see!
In other news, I made 15 dollars busking last night. Later, I was heading back to home when a jazz band started parading down the street. I followed them. They would stop places and play and walk somewhere else. As they walked past the theatre they met up with the cast of Ragtime: The Musical and they played "Tiger Rag" while the actors sang and danced. Then on the way back up they played John Brown's Body and When the Saints Go Marching In. It was awesome.

Well that's certainly nice. Is he running a kickstarter or something? One of my old highschool friends is currently doing that for a project involving Greek women of a distinguished age and storytelling.

You say this as if it matters. LPing was a thing long before everyone started doing it, and something like the Game Grumps is just a logical extension OF it. So just do it anyway.
Also, I've gotta ask, why the bolding of my name, and since when was I Vile from Megaman X (obscure reference).

More Vava-voom than Va-va-Vile. :smalltongue:

I'm at Chapter 6 (the first stage with the fog, and the innocents, and the threat of giant spiders hidden in the fog near the innocents). I REALLY hate that guy with the Halberd, keeps killing... whasisname... the Cavalier. Franz, is it?.

Hmm...I didn't remember Sacred Stones being all that bad. Flaming Sword was a bit harder, and both in the Radiant series were MUCH harder. Still need to get my hands on Shadow Dragon. >.>
