So I went to meet this Mexican friend at the airport today, before he went back home.

He's... very gray. And blocky.

Eh? The picture isn't showing properly at your end?
It seems to be showing correctly here.

And now it's showing correctly here. ???
Computers are weird.

Journaling in the Dominican Republic last May.
Wow, that's kind of big. Oh well.

I think it's the glasses and lack thereof. Also, polkadots are a very youth-emphasizing clothing choice, at least in my cultural lexicon. In a manner similar to pigtails.

Great Scot! You're right. :smalleek:

Oh, my cat is as far from that as can be. For example, here:
She LOOKS like she wants a belly rub. But if you were to actually touch her, she would eat your hand in a heartbeat. Also, she is a fierce hunter:

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Dimonite, she does indeed look like she wants a belly rub! If you are clever enough, you might be able to get one in before she remembers she's not supposed to Like That Sort Of Thing! My cat is the same way. She will usually attack, but if you catch her off guard, you'll get the Insata-Purr before she remembers that there is no touching of the belly!
-
Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Hmm... One of my cats will let me get away with rubbing her belly.
But she attacks anyone else who does.
I guess being the only one who regularly feeds her gets me lots of bonus points.

Yeah, I know. But that spoils the joke.

Yeah, you're probably right. Especially about the dress.

It's okay, he played dead and got away when she put him down to play with him some more. Still, it was fun to watch her catch him.

I opened the spoiler, saw nothing, scrolled down, saw this, scrolled up, opened the spoiler, and there was the picture. I didn't even refresh the page.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Re. looking younger: a lady today was surprised when I told her I was 26, and said she thought I was more like 19-20. I am okay with this ^_^
Also: HORLY CARP HAIRCUT  I mean, I know I told her to be brutal and that I wanted it around my shoulders, but... whoa :smalleek: On the other hand, my split ends are definitely all gone, and I won't need a haircut again for a while...

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Hmm? It looks fine to me. :smallconfused: Granted I'm a fan of that kind of wavy-curlish thing at the end.
-
Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
I don't... dislike it. It's just a much bigger change than I was expecting. And I wasn't even expecting a haircut at all today!
But thanks

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
You look very sophisticated Serpentine.
-
Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Really? :smallconfused:
...
Neat.
Fun fact: I found that bracelet on Kuta Beach, Bali.
Other fun fact: the ocean is just on the other side of those trees.

I fail to see the issue here. An image of you in a bra would be bad for my mental CPU. :smalltongue:
The new hairdo suits you, Serp. =)

Now that can be arranged. Indeed, it has been arranged. :smalltongue:
I'm thinking server crash, honestly.

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
I have photos from my 4th production of HMS Pinafore last week - on this occasion playing the horrible Dick Deadeye.
I specifically made my facial hair lopsided and patchy for the part:
I greatly enjoyed creeping up behind the Captain:
"Silent be - it was the cat!"

Re: You! (A picture/Media thread) Thread XXXI: Roman Numerals Make Everything Fancy
Egad! :smalleek: :smallyuk:
I like the ones with the cat
I took another photo of my hair to show what it's like after being washed. Still not totally sold on it, but public opinion appears to be against me (also this isn't a bad photo, it just doesn't really look like me for some reason):
